As long as we import a great percentage of what we consume, any hope of a strong Naira is just baseless fantasy.

As long we run a generator economy, any hope of industrialization, economic diversification, and low unemployment are just wishful fantasies.

There is absolutely no economically fundamental basis for a strong Naira in the near future.

But then, wishes , dreams and fantasies are Free.
Don't you think that a FULLY floated naira, which will lead to devaluation can encourage more LOCAL consumption leading to increased local production?
Otherwise how do you suggest we make LOCAL consumption more attractive?

This is a man who understands exactly what to do. Has a track record of victories. And has the political will to keep Nigerians safe across the Federation.

Kidnapper, Terrorists, Militants, Arm Rubbers, Criminals - find something legitimate to do with your life. The next President of Nigeria is NOT into Military-Costume-Wearing. He is a Retired Major General. Trained in Nigeria, India, United Kingdom and the United States. He is an over performer. He is not shy of the Facts. Our Senior Military Commanders will not eat Military budget and clean mouth under his watch.

Don't mind those that tell you that Nigeria Cannot be Changed. That things can't be better. They just want to keep looting. When they exhaust their lies, they will start mocking, insulting and posting cartoons.

While PDP are hoping to rig themselves in, Buhari and the entire APC team believe you have the capacity to elect Buhari with your votes alone. Let see who wins (PDP Rigging vs The Votes of the Masses).

This Change is Unstoppable. Sai Buhari. 5days to go!

We understand that truly, the militants' activities have dwindled the allocation of each State and also reduce the IGR in Delta state as a member of the Niger delta states which is the center of the militants' atrocities.

The question now is has this destruction of assets by militants reduce the salaries and allowances of this governor?
No!

You spoke very well and I agree with what you said cos I am guilty of always criticising the people buhari's EFCC are picking out for fraud.

The issue wailers have with Mr President is on issues of nepotism in appointments(see appointments in kitchen cabinet), vengefulness in victory (5% remark)favouritism in policy(grazing reserves and silence over Fulani herdsmen carnages) not mentioning the killing of scores of armless IPOB protesters without option of dialogue; flouting court orders, elongated detention of alleged looters.....and what is worst is the appointment of persons with large corruption cases like Fashola, Amaechi into his cabinet

You can do all these things and expect people not to sneer at your efforts at going after looters

But Buhari, in the document titled, ‘I pledge to Nigeria’ had also said that all his political appointees would only earn salaries and allowances as prescribed by the Revenue and Mobilisation and Fiscal Allocation Commission.

He said, “I pledge to publicly declare my assets and liabilities, encourage all my appointees publicly declare their assets and liabilities as a pre-condition for appointment. All political appointees will only earn the salaries and allowances determined by the RMFAC. jlinkd78:
No. While it is important that anti corruption fight must be vigorously pursued, this must not be at d expense of an obvious vindictive and non-egalitarian mindset.

The seemingly near no love lost BTW d Presidency and d Natnl Assembly is d beauty of democracy as both organs would have some degree of mutual suspicion and be more careful in orchestrating economic sabotage against d citizenry and ensure better oversight of awarded contracts.

With particular reference to Saraki, d govt has not been able to defuse d widely held view that they have superimposed persecution in d place of prosecution. The govt is even worsening their case in exiting Saraki by now pressing charges of forgery alongside Ekweremadu, a situation which will congregate d 5%ers to Saraki.

Ekweremadu being a Constitutional Lawyer was d stabilizing force behind David Mark and is a guru with 'anti-banana-peel' formulae. This Saraki knows very well. Only d Natnl Assembly members can sue for forgery of their working documents and never d Executive as we believe in separation of powers.

Saraki is a thief, I believe; but I honestly believe it is better he remains d SP than d FG & Apc foisting a stooge and pliable figurehead on us who will always dance to d medieval tune of d tyrannical Buhari. If u know what Saraki's headship is blocking d FG against you then u ll pray their scheme never succeed. PMB on assumption made us believe he wasn't interested in who heads d Natnl Assembly so why d sudden interest?
Thank you sir.
May the good Lord enlarge your coast.

yes there are looters, but they did not bloke the drainages, neither where they the ones that built on drainages.
I'm not making excuses for bad governance , but in some cases, even good governance cannot stop flooding!

could it be that the ineffectual boffoon would have solved this particular problem if voted in? naa!
You obviously are ignorant of what you are talking about. And I am being very mild with you.
The worst part is that you are so proud and full even in your self-inflicted ignorance.
In the developed countries that you gleefully shared their flooding pictures to justify the Edo palaver, the state governors and LGA authorities ENSURE that drains/gutters are not blocked by CLEARING them regularly and giving stiff fines and penalties by those who dump refuse therein. Not so huh
Are many Edo people and other Nigerians abroad not doing such work of clearing gutters?
Is the state not supposed to have Town Planning authorities who approve and INSPECT areas to ensure the approved plans are adhered to?
What else are you ignorant of, sir huh
