anonimi: Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?
In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;
or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority? @ @ The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.
Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.
Mattswaggz: Why won't the country be backward when almost all those in leadership positions are bl**dy criminals!!!....and a good amount of the citizens have joined the fray....at this rate, Nigeria will soon be a pariah state in the world by the time everyone is tired of this madness and ban Nigerians from their country.
MaziObinnaokija: Ofunaofu the son of Chief Okonkwo Olofofo of tatafo kingdom . Tell us who he should handover to.Papa OSELOKA abi 😏 😄 😆 😒 😀 😒 🤔 😒 🤔
Tell us who your master strategist expected Jonathan to hand over to before 2015, when he went to Kaduna to beg Buhari to be president, after making Nigeria ungovernable with his Jagaban of Borgu northern bandits
Mattswaggz: Clueless leaders....the know the root of the problem but they chose to keep on chasing shadows in the name of sophisticated politics that has only brought them more doom and destruction.
Why are you using plural, instead of singular to identify the main culprit who thinks he is a master strategist of politics but a cluelessly, incompetent empty barrel of governance
The seeds he sowed before 2015, when he and other A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC leaders demonised Jonathan to make him a one term president in favour of Buhari, have germinated, grown and are harvesting themselves.
EkoIle1: It is now abundantly clear that President Jonathan has finally bared his fangs confirming what was widely speculated. By declaring a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, he has intimidated and emasculated the governors of these States. We are witnessing a dangerous trend in the art of governance and a deliberate ploy to subvert constitutional democracy.
The body language of the Jonathan administration leads any keen watcher of events with unmistakable conclusion of the existence of a surreptitious but barely disguised intention to muzzle the elected governments of these states for what is clearly a display of unpardonable mediocrity and diabolic partisanship geared towards 2015.
Borno and Yobe states have been literally under armies of occupation with the attendant excruciating hardship experienced daily by the indigenes and residents of these areas. This government now wants to use the excuse of the security challenges faced by the Governors to remove them from the states considered hostile to the 2015 PDP/Jonathan project.
Let me be quick to say that this administration will be setting in motion a chain of events the end of which nobody can predict. Experience has shown clearly that actions, such as this one under consideration, often give root to radical ideologies and extremist tendencies, a direct opposite of the intended outcome of unwarranted and unintelligent meddlesomeness. The present scenario playing out in the country reminds one of the classical case of a mediocre craftsman who continually blames the tools of his trade for his serial failure but refuses to look at his pitiable state with a view to adjusting.
It has become crystal clear, even to the most incurable optimist, that the country is adrift. That the ship of the Nigerian state is rudderless is clearly evident in the consistent and continual attacks ferociously executed by elements often referred to as the insurgents in some northern states of the federation, particularly Borno and Yobe states respectively.
Indeed, no part of the country is immune from the virulent but easy attacks, veritable indices of a failing state. Unfortunately, the tenuous and uncoordinated approach adopted by this government betrays a grossly incompetent disposition which stands at variance with current realities in the country, nay the international community where acts of terrorism are engaged and contained. No Governor of a state in Nigeria is the Chief Security Officer. Putting the blame on the Governors, who have been effectively emasculated, for the abysmal performance of the government at the centre which controls all these security agencies, smacks of ignorance and mischief.
dederocs: We are Africans we don't go by foreign religious myths and fantasies.
If you don't know your ancestral land that means you are an illegal immigrant and Nigerian immigration should step up patrols, most people from Chad, Niger republic, Mauritania are now claiming Nigeria.
If you are African, where did your own religion say you were CREATED at by your own God
For Yorubas, that is Ile-Ife. Therefore, any Yoruba who believes in our creation story but claims a hometown outside Ile-Ife is a migrant and a settler. QED!!!
How are you sure that Yoruba and other people from Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Cameroon etc are not claiming Nigeria?
Menclothing1: Tv is not smart school but the man has tried id best he is just an honourable

Even if it requires paying 2k per term to maintain it Solar powered schools with smart board
Why are you so cheap?
What is the percentage of 20 schools in the total number of schools needed to educate every child free in each of the 36 states?
Why pay again for the schools after taxes and federal allocation, including matching UBEC federal funds established in 1999 by Obasanjo/Atiku to help states achieve nine years of free and compulsory education for ALL children
gigabyte13: These Governors are very very useless They should be charged for terrorism after leaving office
How are the 36 governors who share 27% of the federation account among themselves, more useless than the president who has all of 53% to himself and controls both the military, police and other law enforcement agents?
Do you actually understand how the local, state and federal governments work in Nigeria, for you to make an informed comment on this and other issues
SlavaUkraini: Obidient Grasshoppers have invaded the party ...
Anywhere they enter chaos and confusion..
When will they form their own Party ?
Would you say that their chaos and confusion is way better than the destruction of Nigeria by All Promises Cancelled, APC since Tinubu begged Buhari out of retirement to make Jonathan a one term president in 2015, which was only four years after calling the old soldier expired when Ribadu was Tinubu's ACN candidate?
May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu
According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”
On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.
Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.
AMINDA: I just hope Obi is not being naïve. It was clear from the get-go that the NDC is an SPV that was clearly allowed to be registered for the sole reason of luring him away from the coalition so he can be isolated and dealt with. Every move they have made so far appears engineered to sabotage his ambition.
The chochocho hypocrite has always been a naive politician since before 2014 when his own Fidelity Bank protege Obiano kicked him out of APGA, before Atiku rescued him five years later with a national platform as his running mate in 2019.
newsbook: Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano has re-echoed his allegation that his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him for sponsoring his election in 2013.
Obiano and his predecessor, Obi have had a frosty relationship shortly after his swearing in.
Obi has however denied that he demanded for the sum of N7.5billion from Obiano, saying that his problem with him was his (Obiano’s) underperformance.
Obi said if he needed the said sum, he would have simply taken it from the N75billion he left for the Obiano administration at the end of his tenure.
But Governor Obiano while speaking on Wednesday evening at Ezechima Primary School, Onitsha where he inaugurated his reelection campaigns in Onitsha North Council Area, said the clarification became necessary because of the recent accusations against him by the former Governor.
He stated that his predecessor had demanded the sum of N7.5billion from him as funds spent in prosecuting the election on his behalf, but that he refused to pay the money because it was not true.
Obiano said he refused to pay because he strongly believed that public funds should be used for public good, and not to settle godfathers.
These, he said, was the reason they fell apart.
The governor said that another reason he refused to pay the money was because he was aware that enough money was raised for his campaign by his friends and associates, all of which were never accounted for by the former governor.
On the actual sum the former Governor claimed he left behind, Governor Obiano made it clear that he inherited liability of about N127 billion debt from him in contracts awarded and other responsibilities, which he has been religiously undertaking in the spirit of continuity.
He said Obi flagged off several roads even on the day he was leaving office and saddled him with the burden of paying for it, but he assured the people that he has his eyes on the ball and will not allow anything to distract him from fulfilling his promises.
The Chairman of the Governor’s Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh said APGA as the political spirit of Ndigbo, has in the past three and half years, availed Anambra good governance at its best, reminding the people that the upcoming guber election was not about Willie Obiano but about ensuring that the state remained free from political godfatherism.
A former Central Bank Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo in his speech said that at this time, the State needs a tested hand like Governor Obiano who has the experience and expertise to effectively steer her affairs.

anonimi: How we foiled Jonathan’s effort to make Mulika Adeola Speaker, Akande reveals
AS president in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan did all he could to ensure South West grabbed the country’s number four seat, including lobbying then opposition leaders from the zone, to no avail. The North West eventually grabbed the seat, supported by South West leaders in opposition to then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Former Governor of Osun State and now statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, made this revelation in his autobiography, “My Participations” which is currently dominating political and national dis- course.
Aminu Tambuwal, now Sokoto State governor, won the seat, against the preferred pick of his party, Mrs Mulikat Adeola Akande, from the South-West. Defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, then a fledging opposition, which had Akande and his soulmate, former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, as front- line leaders, openly asked its elected members of the House of Representatives, mostly from the South-West, to work against their region and back Tambuwal from North-West.
The opposition party’s support carried Tambuwal through the contest against Akande, then ruling party’s favourite for the speakership seat.
In his book, Chief Akande revealed that former president then as incumbent, personally reached out to Tinubu, who is now believed to be nursing presidential aspiration in 2023 and himself, but couldn’t convince them.
He wrote, “President Jonathan, immediately after the meeting (with political parties), called Bola Tinubu aside into a lobby to broach the matter of ACN support for a choice of who would become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“That same day, President Jonathan talked to me on phone about the same matter. He disclosed that PDP had zoned the position to the South-West but that only one Muraina and another Mulika won elections on PDP ticket from the zone into the House of Representatives.

Of course you are right that it is his loss, just as it is the loss of Nigerians that Tinubu is making All Promises Cancelled, APC extreme poverty and insecurity shege worse.
How many times have you ever bought petrol for N70 or less since 2015?
If you have NEVER bought it for lower than that, then how much do you estimate you have been FORCED to pay as subsidy by Buhari and Tinubu because of APC’s massive corruption in the oil industry
anonimi: Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC
January 19, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.
On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.
But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.
It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.
MrSly: Bunch a deceitful criminals. Tinubu and his cartel are leaving come 2027. Propaganda won't save you people.
Unfortunately, the master strategist is not going anywhere. He is looking beyond next year’s election to getting a 3rd term for life president, something that Obasanjo failed to achieve in 2007!
Why do you think APC’s Twitter supporter Amupitan’s INEC and Wike’s courts are working overtime to ensure Atiku and ADC are not on the ballot
Gboss247: Which dollars was saved from petrol subsidy removal?
The one mentioned below.
TimeManager: The Federal Government has revealed that the elimination of the petrol subsidy under President Bola Tinubu has resulted in savings of over $84 billion, which are now being channelled into the construction and rehabilitation of 40 key road projects across the country over the past two years.
This was disclosed in a policy brief released by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), titled “Two Years Later: Key Benefits of Subsidy Removal,” and made available to journalists over the weekend in Abuja.
The report, which reviewed the outcomes of the subsidy removal since May 29, 2023, noted that the policy averted a looming economic crisis.
It also enabled the Tinubu administration to clear long-standing financial liabilities, increase capital investments, and support the financial stability of state governments.

You cant win a war against terror in a day. Even Isreal who is claiming lion in the Middle East is still battling terrorists. What i know is that this is an experience phase, Isreal has also witnessed high level of security before and they gained experience from it and overcomed the situation.
If you are not a Stockholm syndrome afflicted patient, kindly share where an Israeli PM promised to secure the country before he fought for and grabbed power but he not only failed to deliver on the basic governance outcome, insecurity became worse under his watch.
Bluntemperor: Welldone, President Tinubu👍💪. This is what DEMOCRACY IS ALL ABOUT. IN USA,THERE IS - Amenable And Seriously Forward ⏩ Changes. 1•Federal Laws, - with Federal Authority- is Above and is only where the govt wants it Permissible. 2• States Laws, - with different Laws Operating in Different States, -For Example - the Laws in New York City May be different from Texas States City and Some States Are Of Equal Jurisdiction. •The American 50 -States Is A Model For World Development.🌎 🌍 . Nigeria MUST Learn From America System than ever before, especially with the State Police Coming Into Effects.
In America do residents drink water from shitty boreholes because governors, led by Tinubu steal money that should employ workers to make pipe borne water available?
Abi you only cite American example for state police but not for basic government services and utilities
The federal government is not responsible for water supply in cities and towns. This is the responsibility of states.
500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.
But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”
While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.
He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’
