Hello house, I’m the one who told the house about my son and I’s Approval without medical. Well we are in Canada already but not with a bit of drama at our POE. The day we got in, our passports were collected for verification and we were asked to sit. Few minutes later I was called and asked if I came in from the US, I said no and provided my travel tickets. The guy asked me this question more than 2ce. He later told me that was there a time I did medical during the processing time, I saw No. He said Madam pls seat, he called his other colleagues and they said it’s not possible. Then they started giving me direct eye contact and I was just staring at them without fear. After about 45minutes, I was called and told I should have been sent back but they have checked and seen that it wasn’t my fault, I will be allowed in on conditions. 1. I must the medical in 2months for my son and I 2. I can’t teach and interact with children also my son can’t attend daycare 3. Our permit can only be valid for 6 months after which we must exist Canada if we don’t provide the medical. The issue has since been resolved but that was an experience on its own. Will share that tomorrow My advise to anyone still doing this process is do your medical no matter what VFS says. They told there that Nigerians can’t be allowed in without medical only if they aren’t staying more than 6 months 2 Likes |

Hello house, In a bid to keep the trend lively, can all the people who have travelled with this type of visa share documents that were requested of them at the point of entry? This will help us to further prepare. Thank you |

Mark is right. You just have to show the money, it’s like that’s the new trend. That was one of the reasons we were rejected at first. Markab: |

The following are the documents we submitted : The filled forms My statement of account (note I didn’t use bank account, I used Mutual funds cos that way they just gave me a letter to the embassy. Bank account will show when you move money in and if it’s not up to 6months, they won’t trust that it is your money) My other assurance accounts My husband’s statement of account His student permit His employment letter Letter of Explanation (got the clue from here, you have to be very emotional while writing it) Letter from my employer My CV Family pictures Deed of gift( I got my dad to transfer a property to me because our 1st application indicated rejection due to no tie) Document of our property We have been rejected before and funds and no ties were the main issues. We made them understand that we both have parents alive and I go home often so we can’t abandon home. A lot of prayers o, that the VOC that will review our documents will be in good mood. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Too many unnecessary and ungraduate like questions. Can't some of you just read simple instructions and comprehend? Some of you will call yourselves graduate and yet you can't read and understand without asking people. For the person with related course, try your luck. It doesn't hurt to try abeg. 1 Like |

Shave your hair from home. You don't want them to do it for you at the camp. The experience won't be pleasant at all. If you see any officer you know in camp, pretend as if you don't know him. His/Her appearance might buy job for you. For the ladies, advice you get some antibiotics and hide in hidable places. You will need cos of infection. |

He should just be on lowcut. Skin doesn't matter joor. About the medical, I beg to disagree on girls taking blood tonic. A girl was disqualified because she took blood supplement. So far you arent short blood before and you don't feel dizzy during your period, you don't need a blood tonic. Try and make the 1st, 2nd or 3rd batch. Medical checkups are very imp. |

1. To the guy that's going to be 29 next year, you are still 28 so pls apply. 2. To the 1.68m guy, people who are shorter than you made it. And the use body mass to judge. Meaning ur height pls body weight. So you might make it. 3. Tell your friend that has 2:2 to try since his godfather asked him to. But I hope his godfather legs reach Abj wella. 4. About the screening process, as at the last time, it was traumatic for me. After the test, if you make it to the interview, you will spend nothing less than 2wks @ Onne. After which you will have to wait for the final list if u aren't screened out @ Onne. Then the madass training of 9mnths |

4. If you are going to be older than the specified age indicated, pls don't bother. They will so screen you out based on Medical and overage. 5. To the preggy woman, if they allow you to write the exam, thank God. But I heard that the process this year will be fast (but with Navy, you never can tell). But even if it's not fast. If you ve not given birth 2 months b4 the final pls don't go for health resons. You will eventually be sent out if the know. The training can be killing. But if you haven't given birth b4 the 2weeks screening, you will be screened out based on Medical reasons. |

Hello Fellow candidates: have tried to read thru the posts and I want to help ans some of the questions asked. Not as a personnel but as an ex candidate who made it thru Onne screening, waited for the finally list and eventually didn't make it back to Onne as a cadet. 1. To those with 2:2, even if you are screened, once you make it to the screening ground, all your credentials will be screened carefully and once you don't make the criteria, on d day of eviction, you will be evicted. So pls think abt the emotional stress and trauma b4 u apply. 2. To the Geography candidate with B.tech and not B.Ed, pls don't bother. Last year it wasn't specify, so a lot of peeps including my humble self applied to Education with B.Sc self but we were all screened out. Later on a lot of calls came in and they told the panel to slot us back in course it wasn't specified initially. And the Chairman of the panel then(One almost albino man) told us that by Next yr, all will be corrected. So don't bother. 3. About the past question, if you know you truly have it, send it to the helen_tosin let him/her verify if it's truly genuine. Cos the past question sold out last time were all fake. Navy doesn't joke with their past question. I hope I was able to help few pple. 1 Like |
