the question doesn't conform to the rule of mathmatics!!!

in mathematics, subtraction and division are non associative and commutative while multiplication and addition are both commutative and associative.
in other words, using the simple examples below we can see y we can't lump up subtraction and addition without defining our parameters well enough. same for division and multiplcation.


{1} 2+(3+4) = (2+3)+4
but
{2} 2-(3+4) =/= (2+3)- 4


or 2*(3*4) = (2*3)*4
but
2/(3*4) =/= (2*3)/4


the question is just a silly trick we use to play on innocent friends way back then in high school,
the $1 is missing in the so called tricky nature of the question, but in real mathematically equation the question can't fly- meaning the question itself is wrong.
