"The Kardashian Sisters slipped into their best “Single Ladies” bodysuits and teased their poufs to parody R&B diva Beyonce for a photoshoot featured in the Dec. 28 issue of PEOPLE Magazine. How’d they do?" http://www.popcrunch.com/kardashian-beyonce-spoof-kim-kourtney-khloe-channel-beyonce/ https://www.popcrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/Kardashian-Sisters-As-Beyonce-Picture.jpg Beyonce "Single ladies" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m1EFMoRFvY |
"(Yahoo! Buzz) — News anchors are supposed to read the news, not make it. But we're more than happy to make an exception for two reporters from Philadelphia's Fox 29 morning show, "Good Day." After interviewing Kim and Kourtney Kardashian on the air, Mike Jerrick and Sheinelle Jones thought the cameras had stopped rolling. They hadn't. As soon as they said their goodbyes to the Kardashians, who were promoting a line of clothes, the anchors began making fun of the two sisters. "Can they still hear us?" asks Jerrick. He then proceeds to mock the reality stars for their high-pitched voices and affinity for shoulder pads. Jones half-heartedly attempts to defend the sisters, saying, "I think they're stunning." But even she can't keep a straight face as her cohort continues speaking in a nasally Kardashian-like voice, a bit like a Smurf who had inhaled helium. Yes, yes, we know. Making fun of others is wrong. Except when it's the Kardashians. Then it's hilarious. Enjoy!" http://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/yahoo-tv/breaking-news-kardashians-mocked-174341237.html?nc Kardashian sisters |
@outstrip I agree I was surprised with the prices of the Lexus & Toyota Nadia Buari and John Dumelo bought |
@Thiefofhearts "They rather defend their masters than fight against them" Well I don't think it's because they want to "defend their masters" as you said I think it's because they are afraid. they know it's wrong but they ignore it because of fear but to defend them i doubt it. I remember I was reading online years ago where this Jamaican female was working with a Nigerian man in a company in England and their boss who is a white British man insulted them racially but didn't realize it to being a insult & has done it to other races as well in the office(Indians, Arabs and etc). When the Jamaican lady wanted to confront their boss the Nigerian guy refused, he had the same anger as her but refused because he didn't want to lose his job. The difference is the Jamaican lady didn't mind if she lost her job confronting the ignorant boss the Nigerian guy did care if he lost his job if confronting the boss "Because they are brainwashed" You do have some point there, The times I went to England the question I wondered at times with Blacks there: Is there any Black pride? There is cultural pride like with the Caribbeans(Jamaicans, Grenadeans, and etc), Indians, Africans(Nigerians, Ghanians, Somalians, and etc) when it comes to having their own businesses and etc but racial pride it's a little grey over there |
Sad story but this is nothing new even in England; Didn't Oprah went through that in France a few years ago. The funny part the British front like they are more tolerant and there is racial harmony but in reality it isn't the case, it's a little grey over there. I have been there 4 times for vacation and to visit family & I have Nigerian family members that live there and have told me some ugly stories over there. Although that is the case England is better then some other countries when it comes to race but they are far from perfect though. One thing I agree with Kelis is that America has racial issues and their history is worst then England but in America most of these racial issues have been put out in the open and talked about to a extent but in England, most Blacks don't fight against or talk about it, and the discussion is under the rug. About them calling her "kunte kinte" & "disgusting Nigerian", well this will tell people that England isn't all peaches n creme as people hype that place to be, many Nigerians are getting that now |

"The 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, held in São Paulo, brought together an impressive record breaking number of 89 contestants surpassing the previous record of 86 contestants in 2006. Within the first few minutes of the gala, a stage-filled of world beauties was quickly reduced to 16 semifinalists including France, Kosovo, Colombia, China, Angola, Australia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Netherlands, USA, Ukraine, Panama, Costa Rica, Portugal, Philippines and Venezuela; 7 out of 16 Latinas. An interesting factoid was that the group included 2 Venezuelans Laura Gonçalves, Miss Portugal, who is as Venezuelan as Miss Venezuela, Vanessa Goncalves. Also, prior to the live broadcast the best national costume award was given to Miss Panama. The evening continued with the bathing-suit competition which allowed for real-time voting by the viewers. It was evident that Latinas got the highest ratings, especially Miss Venezuela who was noted as one of the best bodies of the entire pageant. The evening continued with a controversial smaller group of 10 which left behind favorites like Venezuela, Colombia and USA. Thanks to the power of social media, the sentiment of thousands of fans and followers was heard on Twitter. Even well known Hispanic celebrities like Barbara Bermudo and Maria Celeste responded instantly with opinions like: ¿Como rayos Venezuela no salió en las 10 finalistas? (How the heck was not Venezuela in the top 10 finalists?), the shocker was heard and tweeted by many. The top 5 finalists were China, Luo Zilin, Philippines, Shamcey Supsup, Brazil, Priscila Machado, 1st runner up Ukraine, Olesia Stefanko and winner Angola, Leila Lopes, crowned as the new Miss Universe 2011. Angola's full name is Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes, born February 26, 1986 in Benguela, Angola. Lopes is a business management student in Great Britain, where she was crowned Miss Angola UK on October 8, 2010, the official representative of the Angolan community in the United Kingdom to the 2011 Miss Angola pageant. "The Public Relations Officer of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Socrate Sarfo has said contrary to early reports that his outfit has lifted the ban placed on actress Yvonne Nelson, he maintained that the ban was still in place. The actress was given a one year ban by the body which was supposed to end in October 2011. However, Socrate Safo indicated that FIPAG met on the issue last week Thursday but did not arrive at any conclusion. He however disclosed that Yvonne Nelson’s apology letter which she sent to FIPAG in June prompted that meeting and FIPAG will be meeting again tomorrow to see if a final decision could be taken on the matter. He explained that if a group disagrees with a particular decision of the body, FIPAG does not implement that decision, noting that all the different groups under FIPAG would have to agree before any decision is implemented. Socrate Safo disclosed that there are talks of even extending Yvonne Nelson’s ban as certain members of FIPAG say her conduct and remorse do not reflect someone who is truly sorry for her actions. He hinted that Tuesday’s meeting will be the decision making meeting as to whether the ban should be lifted or extended. Do you not think Yvonne Nelson is unjustifiably been used as a scapegoat? Has the issue of her ban not been overblown? Should the movie association members continue to demonize one of their own? What are her fellow colleagues doing? Why aren’t they voicing their discontent with how this whole episode has been handled? Are they not concerned of being the next victim? "Lauren London has revealed that she struggled with her racial identity when she was younger. The stunning actress, who has an African American mother and a Jewish father, says that she felt like an outsider on both sides of her family. In a candid interview with Skin Deep, Lauren admitted: "I do remember being teased by my cousins on my mother's side for not being black enough, and then I'd spend the summer with my dad and be sent to all-white' summer camps where I was 'that black-girl.' However, the 29-year-old explains how she has now overcome these feelings of inadequacy. "What it has done for me is I don't care what people think about my identity. If someone thinks I'm not black enough that's their issue. I'm okay with who I am and it is what is." She added: "I'm a black woman like my mother and I love who my father is, and I love both sides of me." http://www.taletela.com/news/7094/lauren-london-struggled-with-racial-identity-growing-up Lauren London https://celeb.wohoo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/lauren-london-complex-4.jpg |
