Hello Gurus,

I am currently currently having a problem with my private php mailer use in sending out newsletters to some of my subscribers for my website.

It is working fine until of recent that the whole php script has stopped sending out mails. I had to delete and try to upload back to the server, but since then I have not being able to upload back to the server. I contacted my hosting company to notify them of this developement and was told it is because I have a "base64" in my php mailer script.

Anyways, I didn't write the codes, so I've no idea how to fix this problem. My best bet now is to get a new PHP mailer script. So guys please inform me if you have any php mailer script, and help a brother in need. Kindly remove the base64 codes for me if you have it in your codes...

Above is a more understandable version of what I actually wanted.
in this above example. $totalMaches will come out as:

which means letter a appears twice
letter p appears twice
letter l appears thrice
and so on....

counting duplicates and even non duplicates...

Thank you guyz so much, but you dont seems to get my problem.

I cant use strlen because it count the overall number or characters.
I need a code than can be like:

if I enter:
11111 = it will say: only one character was entered(because I enter 1 five times. so it will disregard all the other extra times 1 was entered)

and if I enter

111122223333 = it will say: it will tell me only 3 characters are entered. (Because I enter 1, 2 and 3 repeated it, it wont cant repetitions).

They are fraudsters. They never provided me with any information to login into my dedicated server, no root login or passowrd information. And I have sent them tons of mails and also and even called their phone but no reply yet.

And the worst part is that they have already started charging me for something they have not even giving me anything to access at all. I also paid for a cpanel, nothing till now

So, I wrote them that they should send me my account information. and this was their second reply(note that they will not reply instatly, they will wait until the next day before replying) So that way they will be delaying my time and since they have already started charging me, they will have nothing to lose.

After they told me my account has been processed, I asked them for my account information because I was suspecting a fraud. and this is their reply

Afam4eva: I don't think they're fraudsters, as i've also had dealing with them. They may just have been incompetent in that regard. I find it strange though that you would go to Web4Africa for a dedicated server. This kind of hosting is very sensitive and not just any provider can handle it. You should have asked for reviews before joining their bandwagon.
