This one just killed her music career by relocating to the US at the prime of her career. She could have at least waited and enjoy the limelight she had in Nigeria then and relocate when she's no longer trending - not leave your fame behind and head where nobody knows you.. Nigerians could relate to her older songs, what is this one now if not thrash?

What if all of these tankers falling here and there are all political stunts to de-market some fellow politicians?

Everyone wants to make their opponents unattractive to the people by painting everything like "There's hunger in the land.", but its really "There's greed in the land".

Are we saying none of these people scooping petrol, groundnut oil, rice etc can afford these items? It pure greed that makes them hope for disasters like these so they can take advantage of someone else's losses.

I'm Yoruba, born and raised in Lagos before dipping out decades ago. My family was the only Yoruba family on the street I grew up on.

I grew up with Hausas, Fulanis, Igbo, Benin, Benue etc people that even spoke better yoruba than me because they lived there even before I was born.

Some of them dont even know where their parents' villages are because their parents were probably born and raised in Lagos.

Everyone peacefully lived together and share memories till today.

If someone says "Lagos is No Man's land", they may be correct. Everyone from various tribes contributed in their ways towards Lagos, not just the ones you consider Lagosians.

Business is all about supply and demand. When you over-price your supplies and someone else sells cheaper, the demand for yours drops. That shouldnt lead to hatred, it just means re-strategizing is an option.

This is one of those upset with VDM for bringing iPhones and Chinese electric cars to Nigeria at a cheaper retail cost to favor the poor.

That mentality needs to change.

I have been living in the US for over 22 years now and cant count how many family members/friends/ past neighbors/ street boys/teachers/ exs/ random people I have supported through my stay here.

Back then, there was no facebook, whatshap etc and many social media firms. Some of them dug for me online and started telling me all kinds of sad stories about their lives. I'd say at least 95% of people reaching to me from Nigeria simply want free money from me - its same as what scammers/robbers/kidnappers etc do to their clients - gold-digging/extortion.

Its not like many rich Nigerians, diasporans, politicians, business people, executives etc dont have soft minds to help people in difficult situations, the problem is that many people now take their kindnesses for stupidity - always demanding for more and more till they make you bankrupt if you dont free yourself from certain types.

If you see yourself around people that only want tbings from out of your pocket and nothing ever comes out of theirs, you have no business sticking around such. Why?
While you are thinking "Thank God for the strenght to help some people today", someone you just helped is singing "Maga don pay".
A few later, they are running back to demand for more money. Who is the fool here if all you get is constant demands and no positive results?

Even Dangote, Otedola, Odenuga, Elumelu, Atiku, Obi, Tinubu etc would have been broke today if they kept listening to leeches and giving them free money all the time. If the cant manage one and show some results, how can they manage the next? They will spemd their last card to buy data/credit to start disturbing you for more. Who has time for people like that?

Many of them tend to blame the government, but actually most of the faults are from them.

The particular one that really hurts me and is related to @OP's story was from my own blood brother. He was the one that informed me of a plot of land in an estate in Lagos. I started sending him money to buy the land and start my first building on it.
Millions of Naira went towards it, I cant really tell how much it was I sent in dollars because the exchange rates changed ovet the years. I was getting pictures sent to me as the whole thing progressed and decided to fly to Lagos to see the property myself.

I got there to see the house was only built on half plot, not full plot that I bought. I asked what happened to the other half-plot, he said he sold it to someone else when he needed money. Why sell my land to someone else without my consent? It became a huge argument - I felt lied to. The pictures I was being sent appeared enlarged versus what I finally saw when I got to Nigeria.

Family intervened and advised me to just let go. I agreed and demanded my documents for the building. I got the document and couldnt see my name anywhere on it - it was all in his name and his wife's name. I had put alot on that property, only to find out its not even in my name. Another fight started again. His excuse was that he didnt put it in my name because I'm not based in Nigieria, which was a lie because I now have other properties in Nigeria in my name even though Im based in diaspora.

I had to get a lawyer involved and changed the name of the piece of the land he was building for me, the other half is gone - sold to another family even though its mine.

Ive heard of cases of people building and they are being sent pictures of someone elses property. At least mine is built, but some part of the land was taken from me, versus not seeing anything at all.

I dont think Davido should have these many vehicles and not have a few of them have bullet-proof features.

When its politics, expect more enemies than you already had. Some of these folks are paid political thugs by opposition parties.
