Sooner Than Soon, Sealed, Stamped And Signed

Very soon.
Soon. Very, very soon.
Restoration galore — sooner than soon.
Body, restored.
Blood, restored.
Balance, restored.
Wealth, restored.
Health, restored.
Wholeness, wholly sealed.
Surely, sooner than soon — sealed, stamped, signed, sent, seen and secured.

Common Sense Should Have Known

The just-bereaved has a very busy traffic going on
Inside the brain.

Not on ground, but informed after others,
With no time to control the heavy-duty staccato traffic —
Besieged brain, battling moving time that can never wait.

The unbridled, unqualified informant broke protocol,
Bypassed without pass,
Denigrated, downplayed, and informed the world before the controller.

Without waiting to de

A Saint Remains Stainless

Struggling to stain, smear a saint so dearly,
solely endears the saint —
so dearly to all.

A name in white robe,
too dear to smear,
too costly to deceive,
dear ones, in due time.

A saint remains stainless.

Sweetening Solitude

In the grave?
The grave of a life lived alone?
It could be so solitary.
Surrounded by soliloquy.
So don't stress yourself into sour sleep, soliloquizing.
Find the sweetener that solves the solitude
And live lively, though lonely, in the grave of life.

The Buffalo Wound

Vibrant brain trapped by accidental incident,
like buffalo wound on agile lion
to steal the lion's hunting show.
Agility lost. Mobility gone, with it.
It thinks in lightning speed.
But walks with the slowing speed of tortoise, the sage.

Wealthy upstairs with wealthy fire and questions.
Poor below with the shell weight it carries,
stealthily like still steel.
Very good to know.
Very hard to live with stealthy still steel.

Money cannot manage or bandage it.
Praise or pity or reprimand cannot lift it.
Rest or leave cannot heal it.
Only truth, empathic understanding, time,
and timely tidings can name it.

A mind with a wound still bleeds sound, steel wisdom,
worthy in weight, wealth and worth.
A wound with no mind just bleeds.
And the world watches both.

Because the heaviest poverty from wealthiest waste
is a bright head that no one lets stand,
but left stale to sour.
Poems For Review › The Richest Poverty - A Poem by AnthonyCemaluk(op):
*The Richest Poverty*

Rich with money and upstairs?
Very good.

Not rich. With no upstairs?
It hurts.

But, very rich upstairs?
Very, very good.

Very rich in money,
With multi-mansions,
But poor upstairs?
Very, very bad.

Not rich in money.
No Kobo left.
And no upstairs too?
Very, very, very bad.
For self.
For society.

Because wealth without wisdom
Is the richest poverty.
And the richest poverty without wealth
Is hazardous.
A walking time and space ogbunigwe bomb

Poems For Review › Nature Has Spoken by AnthonyCemaluk(op):
Peel, bran, seed, stem... turned to proof the world leans on. Kindly read and comment

Waste To Worth — Worthily In Nature And Cell

In Maputo sun or Tsinghua light,
work in remote base, right here, travels past lab and night.
Not just read — but built upon,
A line of proof the world leans on.

Nature speaks, Cell stands, others clap — and none lend their page
To whispers that will not engage.
When they cite work done here, it means this:
Data from this remote end holds. The method is this.

Food waste streams — peel, bran, pod, rind, seed, stem, leaf —
based on biochem core, bioactivity profile, were turned
from "nothing more" to prospective many more.
Agri-food chemistry finds its claim, dancing,
Because the work here was duly signed, stamped
with a solid, stolid name,
sleeping soundly envisioning in a visioner-loaded, serene Umudike, Nigeria.

A citation in Nature isn't small —
It's the world saying: "We used it all.
We stood where the remote visioner chose to see, envisioned,
And took the next step, thanks to thee,
the visioner in remote serene base here."

So celebrate with the sleeping visioner. The waste chased here and there
Now feeds ideas, not left to waste there and here.
From Umudike, Nigeria to Maputo's shore,
Science in remote base echoes — and wants more.
Nature has spoken. Didn't sleep to envision for nothing, but for many more.

"Nature has spoken." Read as published in poemhunter:

Poems For Review › perceived Nuances And Idiosyncrasies Are Unique, Unchangeable, Don't Try To by AnthonyCemaluk(op):
Perceived Nuances And Idiosyncrasies Are Unique, Unchangeable, Don't Try To

Perceived nuances,
Like fingerprints on the soul,
No two hearts beat the same rhythm,
No two voices carry the same echo.

Idiosyncrasies —
The way she ties her wrapper twice, waiting to wage war.
The way he prays with eyes half-open, watchful to wedge war.
The way kola is broken before the first word.
Small things. Sacred things.
Things that make a name more than a name. A man more than a man. One more than one.

They are UNIQUE.
Carved by tradition, by time, by tutelage, by lineage, by blood, faith and convictions.
They are UNCHANGEABLE.
You cannot mount down a mountain to make it fit a valley.
You cannot corrupt a legacy to please a peddling critic, meddling.

So RELAX.
Don't try to copy.
Don't try to correct.
Don't try to force one river into another's bed.

Honor the nuance.
Respect the quirk.
For in those small, stubborn differences
Lives the truth of a person. One that becomes more than one.
Lives the truth of a family. Singular that is Plural.

Bro/Sis,
Truth: Nothing is free in Naija. But here are 3 roads:

1. BENCH: M.Sc/PhD → Research, Lecturing, NAFDAC, Pharma
Cost: School fees. Time: Years. Funding is hard.

2. BUSINESS: CBN/UNN/CEDR EDP → Learn business, apply for CBN loan.
Training may be free. The money is LOAN, not gift.
Start small with what you have. #BeyondBenchToMarket

3. BRIDGE: Learn a skill + sell a small product + document it.
Use your Biochem to solve one small problem first.

Nigeria doesn't need more certificates on the wall.
We need Biochemistry in bottles, in sachets, in solutions.
But it will cost you sweat, not just grammar.

[CEMALUK: MEANING, BASIS, AND BENEFITS] - Preserving Both Parents' Legacy

Greetings Nairaland Family,

I want to share the philosophy behind a name I bear and have adopted for my lineage.

CEMALUK (Nwa Cecilia na Malukwuo)

1. MEANING
Cemaluk = Child of Cecilia and Malukwuo

Ce from Cecilia - The Matriarch
Maluk from Malukwuo - The Patriarch

I am Tony Cemaluk means:
"I am Tony, Nwa Cecilia na Malukwuo"
"I am Tony, Child of Cecilia and Malukwuo"

When the larger family name is considered:
Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu

2. BASIS: A Surname Born from Justice + Honor
Traditional practice often erases the mother's name in marriage, no matter her sacrifice to the sustenance of the nuclear family.

Cemaluk was born to correct this.
It is founded on 2 pillars:
1. Justice: To restore and permanently record the mother's name and contribution.
2. Honor: To equally honor the father's name and role.

It clarifies and supports the joint contribution of mothers and fathers in the identity of their offspring.

3. BENEFITS
1. It restores the mother's name.
Cecilia will never be forgotten. Her labor is immortalized.

2. It honors the father's name.
Malukwuo stands with equal dignity. His foundation is recognized.

3. It gives our children clear root.
The name serves as a genealogical marker. It can prefix the larger family/grandfather surname for easy patrilineal trace and identity for grand and great-grandchildren. It paves way for easy genealogical delineation.

CONCLUSION
Cemaluk is more than a name. It is a statement.
A statement that both parents matter. A statement that sacrifice will be remembered. A statement of clear root.

I earlier shared this in Culture: https://www.nairaland.com/8738909/cemaluk-meaning-basis-benefits

Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu

As fathers and mothers in this section, what do you think about preserving both parents' legacy this way?

THREAD: CEMALUK'S DOCTRINE: MARKETING BIOCHEMISTRY - TURNING ABSTRACT SCIENCE TO UTILITY COMMODITY

By: Anthony Cemaluk C. Egbuonu, Ph.D, MBA(Marketing).
Assoc. Prof. of Nutritional Biochemistry and Toxicology

---

For years we have learnt and taught Biochemistry in the lecture theater and laboratory.
For years we have published papers and perished in poverty.
For years our research has ended on library shelves and in dustbins.

It is time for a new covenant, a new order, a new movement.

I present to you: THE CEMALUK DOCTRINE OF MARKETING BIOCHEMISTRY.

THE CORE PRINCIPLE:
The art and science of turning ABSTRACT SCIENCE → UTILITY → COMMODITY → MONEY → IMPACT.

WHAT THIS MEANS:

1. ABSTRACT → UTILITY
Research must solve a real human problem.
A journal paper that cannot feed a family is an incomplete paper.
Using the CBN Entrepreneurship Development Programme Model, every lab finding must answer: "Who does this serve?"

2. UTILITY → COMMODITY
Package the solution. Brand it. Standardize it.
Apply Ringi Shou decision making for team commercialization.
This is where MBA meets PhD. This is where science meets market.

3. COMMODITY → IMPACT
When science becomes a product, money returns to fund more research.
Students get jobs. Industry gets solutions. Nation gets development.
This is BEYOND BENCH. This is BEYOND PUBLISH OR PERISH.
This is BEYOND BENCH TO PRESS. This is BEYOND LAB TO MARKET.

THE PROBLEM WE ARE SOLVING:
Nigeria has brilliant Biochemists. But we have "Bench to Dust and Bin" syndrome.
We need "Bench to Press to Profit" syndrome.

THE CEMALUK RELATIVE CHANGE CRITERION:
We will measure success not by citation count alone, but by the significant relative change in utility that research creates in society.

CALL TO ACTION:
To my colleagues: Let us stop producing abstract papers. Let us produce utility-commodity oriented papers.
To students: Your degree must have market value.
To government and industry: Partner with us. The lab is ready. The market is waiting.

This doctrine is born from:
1. Years of internalized desire, as one caught in the web, to bridge the gap and make Biochemistry particularly marketable.
2. Experience as CBN/UNN/CEDR EDP Consultant Specialist, MBA in Marketing, M.SC./PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry and Toxicology.

From Abstract. To Utility. To Commodity. To Nationwide.

Christianity Etc › The Cemaluk's Weapon Of Worship Hymn by AnthonyCemaluk(op):
*The Cemaluk's Weapon Of Worship Hymn (Based on the poem entitled " The Passes"wink*

*Teaching/introduction*
Life will take us through many travails but as iron that must go through the Smith's foundry fire for refinement and restoration to full iron strength and precious gold splendour. And as God's children that must pass from Egypt, through the wilderness, embark on missionary journeys, broke free from chains of prison, past Malta after shipwreck— to gain God’s appointed places where freedom, versatility abound to wear the crown of grace, faith and victory.
Just trust HIM. Don't give up the ghost. Never yield to any tribulation phase out of fear. No tribulation is beyond God and God's own.
Even in the fire of life's tribulations, we worship HIM. For our escape shall lead to crowns of grace, faith and victory.
Always worship with faithful declaration of ultimate victory in mind.
For what is "Not seen now, Shall soon be seen". So, in all: Glory! Glory, give unto the Lord.

*The Cemaluk's Weapon Of Worship Hymn*

*Verse 1*
It passes,
Every iron.
Every gold.
Through the Smith's foundry fire,
It must pass.

*Chorus*
Glory! Glory, give!
Not seen now,
Soon to be seen.
In all: Glory! Glory, give!

*Verse 2*
Egypts we have crossed,
Wildernesses to go.
Prison chains are broken,
Before Malta we go,
On Schengen tours.

*Chorus*
Glory! Glory, give!
Not seen now,
Soon to be seen.
In all: Glory! Glory, give!

*Bridge/ Declaration*
Whatever phase,
Any phase in,
Eschew phobia!
Abscond not!
If you could!
Even If you could, don’t!
For every phase is purposed,
Every phase pain is gain!
*Once passed ; It is final . No more. Never again. For me, my spouse, our children , our children’s children forever. No more. again* .

*Verse 3*
Either passed,
Is passing,
Or has to pass,
Schengen tours await.
Escape escapades,
Lead to crowns of grace, faith and victory.

*Final I chorus x2*
Glory! Glory, give!

In all: Glory! Glory, give!

Science/Technology › Researchers: How Do You Measure % Change When Baseline Is Zero? by AnthonyCemaluk(op): 5:31pm On Aug 27
Researchers: How do you measure % Change when baseline is Zero? And how do you determine significance with small sample sizes? The CRC Method

Colleagues,

In nutrition biochemistry and toxicology, we often face two practical problems:

1. How do you calculate relative change when the initial value = 0?
The traditional % change formula breaks down and gives undefined or infinite values.

2. How do you determine statistical significance when the sample size is small?
Standard tests lose power when n < 5, but real field and lab work still happens.

I’ve been working on an approach I call the Cemaluk Relative Change Criterion - CRC.

It solves the first problem by redefining the denominator to handle zero-baseline cases, giving a stable relative metric.
For the second, CRC provides a framework to assess meaningful change even with very small sample sizes.

Question for the house:
What methods are you currently using for zero-baseline % change and small-n significance testing in your field?

For those interested in the full derivation and application notes, I can share the link on request.

THE LION REIGNS, ALWAYS
by Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu

Read it live on PoemHunter:
https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-lion-reigns-always/

Note this well.

The lion is down,
not dead.
Sight still scans the distance, secures the plain, the terrain.
Body seated.
Roar still ruffles the woods.
Chains hold the legs.
The head holds the horizon compass.

Mind does not melt. It mints duty designs.
Hands are held, but handiwork flows.
It glows outward.
Disciples stand by, alert, duty-bound for the signal.

From afar, the lion bellows.

The devil designed plots to clip the paws,
to strip the crown.
Damped by the lion's God.
The lion's God kept the crown, kept the name.
Because the brain never broke, never choked.

Real experience does not rust —
just refined, renewed, regenerated, rewired.
Old hands still know the beat, the dance, the step, the tune.

Let youth warm the field.
Let cubs play in the kingdom.
The lion holds the wheel.
Steers to cheers of glory.

Legs failed.
Head was filled.
It rules continually.
Lion is lion.
Always.
