CEMALUK – MANY MISSIONS A Citation of Poet, Academic, and Overseer 1. THE MAN: CEMALUK OF OJOTO Dr. Anthony Cemaluk C. Egbuonu is a son of Ojoto, Anambra State, Nigeria, and the present overseer of the Cemaluk (Cecilia and Malukwuo) family. His stewardship is rooted in legacy preservation and intergenerational duty. Through documented works such as Chief Ezemalukwuo Onwurah Nwoye Egbuonu: Bio Clarification and THE CEMALUK LEGACY 1933 To 2026, Dr. Cemaluk has ensured that family history, titles, and values are archived for posterity. His leadership reflects the Igbo ideal of Ozo — authority exercised with responsibility. "God protected, kept the crown, kept the name." 2. THE POET: TONY CEMALUK EGBUONU As a poet, Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu writes with prophetic clarity, theological depth, and cultural weight. His body of work spans themes of kingship, betrayal, ancestry, covenant, and divine law. Major Poetic Works & Series: - THE CEMALUK TRILOGY – A foundational series exploring lineage, authority, and spiritual inheritance. - The Lion Reigns, Always – A contemporary statement on enduring leadership and divine mandate. - How Dare You? – A treatise on betrayal, masks, and natural law. - When We All Died – An elegy on collective loss and national conscience. - Muscle Of The Mind – A covenantal tribute to maternal sacrifice. - Called Devil No Qualms – A theological incursion into good, evil, and accountability. His style is marked by sparse diction, biblical cadence, and Igbo proverbial force: "Roar still ruffles the woods. From afar, the lion bellows." His poems circulate across PoemHunter, Nairaland Literature sections, and academic discourse, with individual pieces recording hundreds of views and engagements. 3. THE ACADEMIC: DR. ANTHONY CEMALUK C. Dr. Cemaluk is an Associate Professor of Nutrition Biochemistry and Toxicology. He is a thoroughbred academic and mentor whose scholarship intersects natural science, literature, marketing, theology, culture, and leadership development. Academic Visibility: Google Scholar | ResearchGate | ResearcherID Key Intellectual Contributions: - Word Coinage: Originator of "4D" as a conceptual framework. - Cemaluk Relative Change Criterion – A novel statistical tool for determining significant observation in small sample sizes. - Google AI Verdict On Tony Cemaluk Poems – An excerpt showing external academic engagement with his poetic corpus. He is recognized for mentorship of scholars and professionals. His teaching philosophy: "Let youth warm the field. Let toddlers learn as they play in the kingdom." 4. SYNTHESIS Anthony Cemaluk embodies the convergence of tradition and intellect, of poetry and academic duty. He is not fragmented into roles — rather, the poet informs the academic, the academic serves the community and the family, and the overseer sanctifies both. His work demonstrates that literature can be covenant, that scholarship can be service, and that leadership can be quiet but definitive. "CEMALUK, The man of many parts holds the wheel. Steers to cheers of glory, continually." |
THE LION REIGNS, ALWAYS by Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu Read it live on PoemHunter: https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-lion-reigns-always/ Note this well. The lion is down, not dead. Sight still scans the distance, secures the plain, the terrain. Body seated. Roar still ruffles the woods. Chains hold the legs. The head holds the horizon compass. Mind does not melt. It mints duty designs. Hands are held, but handiwork flows. It glows outward. Disciples stand by, alert, duty-bound for the signal. From afar, the lion bellows. The devil designed plots to clip the paws, to strip the crown. Damped by the lion's God. The lion's God kept the crown, kept the name. Because the brain never broke, never choked. Real experience does not rust — just refined, renewed, regenerated, rewired. Old hands still know the beat, the dance, the step, the tune. Let youth warm the field. Let cubs play in the kingdom. The lion holds the wheel. Steers to cheers of glory. Legs failed. Head was filled. It rules continually. Lion is lion. Always. |

The Smile That Stabs Good to everybody? Not good to anybody. At all. For nobody robs Peter to pay Paul and calls it virtue. Two-faced hands of Janus. Promises in front, daggers behind. Hallmark of the double-edged sword. - Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu Sunday, August 23, 2026 Read on PoemHunter: https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-smile-that-stabs/ [/code] |
Called Devil, No Qualms Called devil, no qualms. Re-paint devil white. After all, "Come let us make man in our own image" — was to whom? Repent ye. Know ye. Devil could be God's lone brother. Could have continued to be. The host of heaven watched. if not for Armageddon — sequel to naughtiness, hubris, covetousness, treachery, insolence, frowardness, red eye, huge eye, wanting to be treated as and above Big Brother God. Full poem + author's note: https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/called-devil-no-qualms/ DISCLAIMER: This is a work of art and theological interrogation. Not doctrine. Not endorsement. Just questions. |

How Dare You? - A Poem About Betrayal, Masks, and Natural Law [New 5.0] *How Dare You?* How dare you enter a road, a compound where no man walks, lives, the owner you don't even know? Chasing shadows of a good-for-nothing man, a weakling without prospects, who you left abandoned for your selfish, gluttonous good. Your intent wore no mask under your perceived mask, like an ostrich hiding. The table turned. Against you. The bubble burst. Naturally. And the remnant masks fell. Nudity ensued. Stark unclothedness. The big masquerade, wedge-like wood mounted, finally, suddenly gone for good, to rest. To avert the approaching avalanche, the thickening, tornado, the harmful hurricane, and the merciless de-masking of the mask behind the masks of messes as lastly hinted by the unknown monster. Your stolid human wedge, as mortals shifted out after toiling, pleading, covering massive mess — you messed. You forgot the law: "Cast your bread upon the waters..." Givers never lack. Givers never collect humiliation of poverty of the pocket and upstairs. Go now. Pick the bruises you planted. Lick the oozes, too. The way your ilks crumble. --- Read with comments and rating here: https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/how-dare-you-1/ By Tony Cemaluk Egbuonu. |

MUSCLE OF THE MIND - A Covenant for My Mother @ 89 Mama, you saw, suffered, survived, smiled, Mama, you sunk as sun March 5, 2026, to see the Lord. At 89. In victory. Your six-year-old son snuffed your worry over suitable honor for your sun-setted soul. He is no longer six; built you an institution; gave you novel digital immortality. Weakling? With muscle of the mind will neither scatter, nor scuttle. But will remain digitally document-immortalized. REST IN PEACE. RISE IN LEGACY. I AM CEMALUK. NOTE: This is a covenant. For Mama Cecilia who saw, suffered, survived, smiled, and sunk as sun at 89. From the six-year-old son who worried her, to the man who built her an institution and gave her digital immortality. They called it weakness. We answered with muscle of the mind. CEMALUK gathers. CEMALUK resets. CEMALUK is documented forever.
