Atiat is a company that owns Baines MFB, Quantra, Atiat Insurance Brokers, and Our Car.
I would never recommend my enemy to work in this company because there is zero work-life balance, zero growth, and daily performance meetings every day, especially early in the morning and sometimes at the close of business.
You can get sacked for non performer at business development, while you were employed as a back-end office staff. Your major KPI will be business development. Staff come and go from time to time. Staff Loyalty Zero
G.M.D behaves like an emperor, with no proper checks and balances from the governing board.
Although they make a lot of money from aggressive business development, which resulted in their 40 billion.
If you love yourself, run and never look back. |

sulaak: In a country that has high unemployment, poor remuneration cannot be the answer. I went to the Moniepoint career website, and there are 76 available jobs.
https://moniepoint.com/careers
The senior roles have been allocated to Indians and Europeans; these include roles such as Data Scientist and Engineering Manager. Outsourcing skills roles to Europe or Asia would have been costly for Moniepoint due to the lack of skills in Nigeria.
We need to accept that years of Japa and corrupt government have taken their toll on Nigeria's education. I graduated from UI in 1989, and the standard at the time was poor because students cheated on exams. The bottom line is that some Nigeria companies does not like to set up a training school inorder to have competent and highly skilled staff but they prefer to outsourced staff in order to collect kick backs and ride on the excuses that Nigerians are not trainable. There are highly skilled Nigerians that can work for him if he is ready to pay them well |

semid4lyfe: The Moniepoint CEO misyarned.
The 500 unfilled job vacancies in his company is not a referendum on the character, skillset, talent or employability of Nigerian youths. Neither is it due to yahoo culture, social media distraction, laziness or quest for fast money.
Banks, Oil majors, Auditing companies, Tax corporations, FMCGs Industry, Elite Government agencies etc recruit meritoriously and fill their vacancies from these same pool of Nigerian youths.
So why is Moniepoint unable to do so? Answer - Poor remuneration.
Thankfully, he recognizes he is competing globally, so he should pay global salaries if he wants the best. Simple.
Anyways, I no blame am. I blame the CBN for its failure to properly regulate Nigerian banks to ensure functional ATM machines which is the gap filled by moniepoint .
The CEOs statement is also insensitive being that the vast majority of their agents/customers sit under umbrellas by the road side or in makeshift kiosks processing transactions Are those ones lazy too?
The moniepoint CEO is nothing but a dolt. Beautifully well said. You just spoke my mind I salute you. Yèyé CEO |

Rapmoney: Believe it or not, most of these greedy house agents who have made under trees and roadside their offices, live in terrible apartments like the one in the photo. These greedy folks cannot afford to pay for same apartments they are trying to rip you off with.
They will tell you: Agent fee is N150,000 Caution fee is N100,000 Management fee is N100,000 Agreement fee is N100,000 Inspection fee is N10,000 House rent is N300,000
Now, imagine a prospective tenant paying you N150,000 just for taking him/her to see a house that neither belong to you nor your papa. You expect the prospective tenant to pay unnecessary fees which when put together, is even greater that the actual rent for the house.
The way these guys extort people searching for accommodation is something else...follow them to their apartments, you will throw up! You are spot on. I do look at them in disbelief whenever they call the crazy house rent.i wonder if they themselves can afford it. |

Religion is a scam in Africa.
The harsh economy in Nigeria has affected the way Christians are paying tithe to Pentecostal churches.
I expect him to bash those in power, but he won't because they are his church members.
They are paying but you can give an account of how you spend it.
Most Nigerians are docile when it comes to religious Matters.

36STATES: Some Nigerian pastors, particularly those promoting prosperity gospel like certain RCCG pastors, engage in deeply unethical practices. They often ignore the deceptive actions of their leader, Adeboye, who has built a reputation on falsehoods and manipulation.
Despite being in his 80s, he continues to mislead his followers, claiming they'll go to hell if they don't pay tithes. As a billionaire, he preys on the vulnerable—those who are barren, sick, unemployed, disabled, or suffering from cancer—exploiting their hopes with promises of miracles that never materialize.
In one tragic case, my uncle, who was a member of RCCG was told that his son’s mental health struggles were due to insufficient tithing. Desperate, he increased his contributions threefold and selling some properties, but nothing changed. Sadly, my cousin ultimately took his own life. My deepest condolences. Most pentecostal Churches in this part of the world are scammers. |

MemoriesAndMe: Have you ever traveled out of Nigeria before? If you have and you have returned to Nigeria from your trip, you'll understand the guy did the right thing.
Of all the airports I've been to around the world, Nigerian airports are the most frustrating ones. Everyone there is a beggar. Even to use the toilets there, there's someone waiting there to beg. The immigration officers I've ran into, including NDLEA officials will sometimes be up to 20, each of them demanding for money as if they don't get paid their salaries.
You asked how will the immigration thief's kids a d family feel if they see this official this way, it's same way the travelers' kids and family feel whenever they see full grown and employed civil servants, expected to be professionals, begging their parents and family members at airports and the image they portray the country in.
Did you read about the news of a young teenager that flew to Nigeria for the first time from Europe and the immigration officers at the airport took all his pocket money and left him stranded at MMA? Would you want that to happen to your child, relatives or yourself?
I'll record as many of them as possible and post them all on social media. Let them all be replaced by vibrant youths with respect for their jobs and their nation's respect.
You just can't be begging for money from every Tom, Dick and Harry because you're working at the airport. It's annoying. One chilled green bottle for you. You are so spot on. 👍🏿 |
