Oh, wow, if you sent out a job proposal and they responded with an "invite," I mean, how could that possibly be anything but totally legit?

Reason why I am bring it to the front burner is because I Google the organisation name and I am.not getting meaning search results that speaks to what I am looking for.

Thank you for the advice.

A school called me for part-time services. I told the woman to let me go round the classes to know the population. Omor them many like bees and the classes were crowded. So when we got talking and bargaining, I told her madam look I don't like taking schools with so much population that if I will take it she'll have to pay times two of what others are paying. The moment I said I don't like populated schools I knew I had bleeped up because it's more like saying I don't want their growth. I didn't know how to take back my words so I just let it be. She didn't call me and me too I didn't bother. Dem too manty abeg.

Another one was when I went to a school to discuss with the proprietress and she agreed she was going to buy books from me. Later she didn't call again. She now called after the term and said I should come and take them without text books. I told her see, I don't want problems cos this one you're already going back and forth I won't want to hear stories when it's time to pay me my money. She said what do I mean by that and me I ignored her because I already knew that statement will make her not to call me.

I like you. You know your worth

It depends. In some interviews, you might think you did not perform to expectations and they will eventually give you the job while in some instances, you'd think you performed beyond expectations and the interviewers were marvelled at your submissions but las-las, they won't call you back.

God bless you. You are damn on point

Such recently happened to me.

just imagine

It is the hypocrisy of the igbos that make Nigeria this worse, they are ready to defend evil once it involves their kinsmen n they will call another person kinsmen evil

When I told a guy here that there’s nothing like xenophobia he didn’t believe me

This is what igbos do in South Africa, when one of them commit crime. Instead of the igbos to support d police to punish d guy for the crime, igbos will defend him to high heaven in even hide it, the most annoying part is that they will even b willing to fight d police

The citizens got tired of igbos going away with crime n that’s y they retaliate

Imagine how this one is defending crime, I can bet that if this guy have d power those criminals will never b prosecuted cos they are igbos

I was there live n direct in South Africa n I saw how it happened, please don’t ever blame d South African, they are good people pushed to d wall

You have a beautiful point

I reckon with your idea.

The worst of it all is the plastic coke...It is just water and coloring.

If you at least want to drink coke here in Nigeria, get the canned one 😜

You are right.

But bottle coke taste better than plastic and can coke to me.

I enjoy taking bottle coke any day any time.

Business / Re: LAPO Microfinance Bank Is A Devilish Loan Shark by anthropizzy(m): 10:13pm On Jan 24
INTEGRITYA1:
Disclaimer:
I'm not connected to LAPO in any way, I'm not their staff, I've never borrow or have anything doing what so ever with them. Only that I've been seeing their branches all over the places and I knew them as a registered financial institution.

@op, permit me to contribute my own view to the issue you raised. I don't think lapo is devilish as you opined, anything bank loans generally is not business friendly presently in Nigeria, be it commercial or microfinance banks. Look at the CBN policy monitary rate (MPR) at 14%, then what do you expect from other financial institutions? Though the difference is clear when you compare the lending rate of commercial banks to that of microfinance banks; yet go and check the bad loans history of commercial banks as well, can we now says commercial bank loans are devilish also for some business not to be able to repay their loans as well?
To every loan granted by either of the banks; there is an iota of risk. But microfinance loan by nature was designed mainly for existing petty trades and business, not for start up businesss, it's actually for business expansion; that's why LAPO will be expecting you a week after the loan was granted for your instalmental repayment and can't grant moratorium. Because the idea is you're already trading and making money daily or weekly before loan, so getting loan give you an opportunity to by more stocks through which you can be paying back gradually. But, financial indiscipline, loan diversion, bad characters in the side of some individuals and so on has been a major threat to loan repayment, apart from some fraudsters that do hide under the umbrella of microfinance banking to perpetrate their evil act, try to check how many microfinance banks that closed down in Nigeria due to bad loans and their inability to meet up with their financial obligations due to the lost they've suffered and put yourself in their shoes.

You are damn on point.

One chilled green bottle for you my brother. 🍾👍🏿

Yes you are right. Some over zealous crews do that without the captain knowing.

This has nothing to do with racism.....if I am part of the ship crew, I will throw them overboard.

I think throwing illegal ship occupant overboard is a criminal offence. Most ship captains don't engage in such act again except crazy captains. They would hand them over to the local police if they come across such.

One of the reasons most young soldiers dress weird is because they are damaged (they're not normal). They sweep too many things under to ruge until it compile into a monster... That is why, if a soldier really cares about the mind set of his family, he will rent house off barracks for his family (to avoid that influence).

You are right.

That is why some military personnel don't like dating their colleagues especially female military personnel. They prefer dating civilians.

You people keep lying to yourselves that you are "just friends" with your ex.

You are just friends because you didn't have closure. Many of you lie to yourselves as to the reason you keep your exes around and the reasons are hardly genuine.

Many of you are still friends with your ex to get easy access to sex and to have a fall back option. If you have a bit of sense, you won't show up at the wedding as a mark of respect for the spouse.

Except you share children, you have no business with your ex.
