[s] Yoighaman: You sound like who don't even know Tinubu.
He could not talk yet he led NADECO to fight the military government.
Who is he? Yet he became a senator when Saraki and the likes were only dreaming about being one.
He nor get mouth yet you see him rolling with Abiola.
He is irrelevant yet you see him around Abacha, how many 'nobodys' can you see around a 'strong man' like Abacha.
He is a nobody yet he controls majority of the states in south west.
He is a rat, yet he installed your current President.
You better wake up. [/s] |

Yoighaman: They can vote for Tinubu if he gets endorsement and strong support from Buhari. Go and read up on how Musa Yaradua goaded both IBB and Abiola. Yaradua campaigned for MKO for the sole reason of getting rid of IBB. The north supported Abiola to ensure IBB's transition table was kept. When IBB was forced out of office, the same north will rally behind Abacha to annul the elections. |

They were nobody before they ventured into public sphere.
This is our worst undoing.

isthatso: can you talk without abuse? secondly did i say they will? i said the destiny of a SW presidency is not in the hands of the south. if you had any brain you will see your post was unecessary because your answer was already in my initial post Well you are right about the destiny of a Yoruba presidency not being in the hands of the south. The only Yoruba presidency was gotten as a result of northern charity - see Obasanjo in 1976 and 1999. If the north wills a Yoruba presidency so shall it be. It is on this premise that Tinubu is banking his entire loot on that Buhari will rig him into power. Let us assume Buhari even rigs tinubu into power can Tinubu manage the office? Hell No!. There will be a coup in 6mths and nobody will cry for Tinubu. |
Politics › Re: Can EL-Rufai Win Tinubu in a presidential Election? by AntiBalaka: 11:15am On Nov 01, 2019 |
isthatso: Sw presidency does not need other southerners. Sw presidency needs Northern support, without Northern support SW presidency is dead on arrival whether it has support of other southerners or not. And you think the north will vote a yaribanza over their own? You people are truly deluded. Since 1999, the core north has always voted a northern Muslim. Why do you think that will change in 2023? To win elections in Nigeria you must clinch the middle belt . This is what Buhari achieved in 2015. Tinubu has no political structure or connections in the north central other than in Kwara which Saraki is plotting to reclaim. How in God's name do you expect the north and north central to vote Tinubu? |

El-rufai is a fanatic and fanatics are dangerous people.

Otherwise, Yorubas might prefer Wike or Okorocha to Tinubu. And if APC remains unserious, Yorubas might lure Osinbajo to go PDP where they might pair Saraki with him to call off The Bluff of these Terrorists Fulanis and their Egbira Bokoharam. [s] 7lives: Yoruba NEVER blame Igbos for any loss, it's Igbos blaming Yorubas for voting Buhari and Yorubas are only making reference to the 1999 election, that Igbos cannot CONTINUOUSLY vote against Yoruba interests and expect Yorubas to continue to play maga. Falae won three states in the North, go and look at the result again. The 1999, 1993, 1983, 1979, and previous election results speaks volume. We can't ignore our friends in the North and allign ourselves with those who don't wish us well. Bye. [/s] The presidency is not for regional interests . [s] 7lives: If the Igbos voted wisely in voting Obj who is a northern candidate, against Olu Falae who is a Western candidate, how come Igbos wailed marginalization after 16 years?. If I begin to list all the SABO that Igbos disguised as alliance since independence, can you handle it?. The funny part of it all is that you people always end up wailing, crying and gnashing your teeth. Did the Igbos took all their alliance with the north in good faith? no, most of the alliance, are to ride the " supposedly mumu north ", or to spite the " non compromising west ". Unfortunately the Mumu north has grown muscle and has become a bully, and the non compromising west has also learned the politics of give and take, leaving the Igbos out and confused. Igbos made a habit of always aligning with the north, now the West have also learned to align with the north, the funny thing is, the alliance worked for them or have you heard the West wail marginalization?. [/s] The Igbos just like every other minority group in Nigeria voted Obasanjo and PDP because they saw both Obasanjo and PDP as truly nationalistic unlike the useless AD which was nothing but a Yoruba tribal party . |
