I just learnt yesterday that my ex girlfriend committed suicide. She was gang raped earlier this year and she later went for a test and found out she was hiv positive.

She was depressed. The worst part is that the guy that stole her from me and engaged her withdrew from her after the whole rape saga.


I didn't know how to call her and console her since she did not tell me anything. Infact her family did a good job in keeping the situation secret. I heard the news from one of her close friends who made me swear I wasn't going to let her know that she told me.

Last I checked, that guy was sentenced to death. But till today, he has not been executed. I don't know if they plan for us to forget about the case so that the guy can walk free again.
