He said an "international driving licence issued in nigeria" ,you cannot use nigeria driving licence, plus u can only use an international driving licence in the UK IF your are on visiting visa and most times u need to prove it

half-way wrong,

you can use an International Driver's Licence in the Uk not 'only' as a visitor o! , student visa holders, work-permit holders, hsmp-holders, holiday-makers can use it too.

i think the interviewers do the 'refusing' and 'giving' thing at their own discretion. , because I 'think' what they do is,,in a full day like monday, out of everybody that is interviewed for visa, half is given, half is not. ^{hope it makes sense}
