My landlord had a similar experience early last year. He planted special species of plantain and cassava on his 6 hectares of land and behold the fulani herdsmen invaded the farm with their cow and destroyed everything. He narrowly escape with his life the day he visited his farm. This incident happened in the same Ogun state |
cyber6:Please Op please how did you resolved the issue. Am in the same predicament now with Stanbic IBTC. Tomorrow will make it 2 weeks of unresolved challenge. Your response will be helpful |
Please OP how did you resolve the issue with Stanbic IBTC because I am in the same situation. From all mails, calls ans even went to one of the branches what they told me was the same as yours |
Judolisco:That is very true. From young age children are indoctrinated with hate not love, bitterness not forgiveness , war not peace, destruction not build, extremely extremism,...unending war |
We told them late November through December 2024, that naira was appreciating because of high volume of diasporal remission and people coming from overseas. But they were saying Chicago trained accountant and goons at can and finance minister are in charge. You can give what you don't have |

Taiwooluwaseyi:Disregard. Don't waste your money attending motivational speech to sale GNLD products |
DonroxyII:Amen. Please add end of terrorism, kidnapping, unknown gun men, herdsmen wahala, etc |
Bandirao:You have more rivers with dams that generate electricity, what is the cost of 1Kw electricity and the VAT? We never talk of solid minerals, foods if well packaged and value added to it. Common everyone will win if we shrug off laziness, corruption, and encourage good governance and lean concept in management of public funds. |
Government, particularly this administration policies indirectly led to stampede. Insecurities, inflation, low purchasing power of naira. Corruption in high places by the political exposed interests, nepotism etc Let me give you a scenario, my company as part of her corporate social responsibilities towards the community do organise annual health outreach on eye, diabetes, blood pressure, etc decided to spice this year CSR by making provisions for 10kg bag of rice, noodles etc for the elderly and widows. You can't believe it that as about 2am before the day, more than 1000 people were keeping vigil to be the first to enter the factory. By 7am, the whole streets around the community was hit with heavy traffic because of presence of people in their thousands. The company couldn't do anything with so many injured, loss of phones etc. The presence of CTU officers did not stop anything. Food inflation and low purchasing power of naira with high costs of energy are catalyst for some of these sad happenings. |
Bought two for 23k each the day before yesterday. This afternoon wife called that the two broiler has died The sudden change of weather contributed to it. Man will still eat am o |
MadPolitician:Abia state like many other states that fall in the geographical enclave called Eastern Scarpland stretches from cross river, abia, imo, part of rivers and delta, anambra, Enugu, extend to parts of Kogi and Benue to some parts of Jos been 300fts above sea level, area composed of mainly sandstone that easily eroded by flooding. Human activities has exacerbated this effect through the dredging of various rivers that cascade through this region for sand. The locals and more recently the involvement of Chinese nationals has made these issues a trend not only in Abia state. |
Ikinternational:No be lie Grand pa fit come watch chelseafc matches. |

I have a lower model of that car but I tell you some of the reasons, no or poor knowledgeable mechanics, complex electrical trouble shooting issues, low second hand value and cost of parts. Other reasons like not available mechanic and parts outside Lagos. Most of the time I have to drive to Lagos to fix issues on mechanical or electrical problems |
“Why won’t there be pushbacks on Tax Reform Bills, from northern leaders, when the ppl who wrote the bill are ALL from Yoruba? Minister of Finance; Yoruba, CBN Governor; Yoruba, Custom Boss; Yoruba, IRS chairman; Yoruba, Inland Revenue boss; Yoruba. All the important positions are virtually headed by Yorubas. You can’t have all these & expect other tribes to trust you” —Segun Sowunmi What is your take? |
This will favour the North more: According to Kalu Aja as posted from his X handle. Dear North and Middle Belt Respectfully, if the new tax bill is passed, You have the advantage of a lower labour cost You have the advantage of solar power You have potentially the largest source of power from a single point, and that's tbe Hydro dam in Taraba You have the land for mechanised agriculture You have the advantage of freshwater rivers, with fish You have gold You have uranium for nuclear power You have silca for solar panels You have cobolt for EVs You have iron ore for steel You have hides and skin Why, in God's name, are you dragging consumption tax with Lagos and Rivers? When was Kano a centre of Commerce? What about Borno? Your leaders are looking through a straw and telling you the world is small What was Sir Ahmadu Bellos' Vision for the North? Did it include oil? Did it include VAT? Was the North not the most significant contributor to FX earnings to Nigeria from the Western, Eastern, and Northern Regions, from just Groundnut? Leave Crude oil for Bayela, go and redevelop Groundnut oil |
This tax will Favour the North more... This is what Kalu Aja mentioned: Dear North and Middle Belt Respectfully, if the new tax bill is passed, You have the advantage of a lower labour cost You have the advantage of solar power You have potentially the largest source of power from a single point, and that's tbe Hydro dam in Taraba You have the land for mechanised agriculture You have the advantage of freshwater rivers, with fish You have gold You have uranium for nuclear power You have silca for solar panels You have cobolt for EVs You have iron ore for steel You have hides and skin Why, in God's name, are you dragging consumption tax with Lagos and Rivers? What is the economic sense here. 90% of electric consumers are unmetered. Capture these population before replacing those with old meters. |
Keep your dollar closer friends. We are entering Bullish season. |
KnowledgePower7:Pls the OP to change the title to what you posted. |
Let us be with what does not concern us. This was not upto what the former Eastern region face before and during the civil war in Nigeria. |
Nnamdini:My thoughts... |
Why is it that when I needed thunder most....can't find ''him''. |
Himbe Obiedient!!! Himbe IPOBoo |
You cannot build something from nothing. No input, no output. You cannot build on thin air. Even the idealized Carnot Engine ran on Heat. Basic principle of energy conservations, thermodynamics, rotodynamics and inertia explains everything. |
Reasons why it failed 1. Igbos were not involved 2. It's not organic and spontaneous 3. ? |
Kobojunkie:Irrespective of the dam, irrigation or even tourist interest, a country can not stop the course of natural river or water bodies. Same way, Guinea can not stop the course of R. NIGER, through Mali, Niger, Benin, and NIGERIA. Likewise, R. Benue for some tributeries from Cameron. Same thing with R. Nile that flows northward from Tanzania and Ethiopia for the White Nile and Blue Nile respectively |
Kobojunkie:Flood water flows in the direction of downward gradient of the topography. That's toward lake Chad |
