Please house does anyone has an idea of how the questions look like? Is it secondary school English and maths plus current affairs or it also include A-level stuffs. The reason I ask is I want to develop a reading plan and timetable. You know no one can read everything so I want to see the feasibility of what I will read before the exams date. |

Lowkeygod: what is this one saying...I got the email 16 of August and the test was on the 22nd....in your mind now you have said something sensible...smh What I'm trying to say is,even on Fridays, they use to send Mails but you foolishly told me you didn't receive ur own on Fridays which indirectly means they don't send mails on Fridays. Kindly note they can send mails on any day of the week but most people receive mails on Fridays. |

Africanblack: My observation on several dates thrown up on this thread for the release of succesful candidates list......
I don't think tuesday is a feasible day for the list to be released, because that is the first day of resumption after the public holiday and civil servants are often lazy on days like that. So, don't feel disappointed if nothing happens on tuesday, 4th of october, 2016.
On the other hand, Friday, 7th of October 2016 may not be a feasible date, cos it is the last working day of the week. All previous mail from PSC and NPF has been mid-week (Wed/Thur), subsequent ones might not be different?
Lastly, from all the speculations have read so far, it is apparent that the list would be out between first and second week of october!! Fridays are the days in which they use to send mails. I received all my invitation mails on Fridays. |

My fellow NPF applicants,I advise especially those who depend on God like myself to consider applying FIRS,FCSC,NPA,etc. Don't put all your eggs in NPF coz this NPF is preparing to cause an earthquake. Again,we should begin to practice how we are going to react when unfortunately we are not shortlisted;this is for those that NPF is their lasted hope, who could not apply for other jobs till date. Don't loose hope pray hard and move your feet, keep applying coz where God destine you to work, you must work there, what must be must be Godfather or no Godfather! Life is not a problem to solve,it's a mystery to experience, while applying take it as fun coz if you take it serious, you might end up committing suicide or fetching hypertension at tender age. |

armpit: Ask yourselves, why would NPF waste resources on this recruitment when they can easily shorten the whole process and save a lot of money Something tells me that the next list of successful candidates would not exceed 10,000. The NPF would come-up with stories like "we selected the 1st 10,000 people who had the best grade in the aptitude test" Those selected wud head straight to abuja to fulfill all righteousness to blind the media. QUOTE ME AFTER THE RECRUITMENT. I buy your idea,110,000-100,000=10,000. 100,000 should try again later or apply N-power next year. Sweet Jesus!!! This country is sodom ang gomorah! |

Pogba: Hello all, hopefully emails will start rolling in from on Monday. The successful ones already know themselves, likewise the unsuccessful ones.
The major criteria used were 70% test score, original primary 6 certificate (not testimonial or other excuses), original degree certificates(not statement of results) original waec/neco results ( not printout/internet copy), Nysc discharge certificate for asp.
Also those that had As in the physical screening like height, chest measurement, sight, straight legs, communication skills etc are strong contenders.
Federal character was greatly used too, about 3-5 per local govt for asp and over 10 for inspectors and constables.
I wish you all the best for next week's revelation.
Meanwhile, check out the confirmed salary structure of the Nigerian police force.

Poorboy: yea naive but raw truth... You are really a poor boy in the brain. I think you just completed NYSC and don't know the traffic and congestion in the labor market. You did NOT graduate with first class beacause first graduates are calm and rarely isssue negative statements. What I'm trying to say is you're too pompous, you are not the only second class upper remember. Soon you will see 3rd class and 2nd class lower shortlisted,2nd class upper get kicked out, then your poor brain will start rebooting. Will u wonder All those classes of degree are nothing but theories, now we are in the real world of practical, the best university on earth (the world). A person with First class and 2.1 is NO different from a person with 2.2,3rd class or pass. Bill gate is a drop out but there many First class who are working under him and some plus YOU are wishing to work under him. I'm a first class graduate but my brother Life after school is a tougher and a different battle, especially in Nigeria, full of surprises. If you say a raw truth to someone who is emotionally down, you simly sufforcating him to death, instead cheer him up,encourage him, don't blame him/her the person might be dying inside and you just add salt to injury. |

enshi: Fool.... I got 0.7 for my state You should be the bigger fool, which school you go U are a disgrace to simple arithmetics! 0.7 means not all LGAs will have representatives. Okay divide 13 ASPs that are gonna be recruited in ur state, divide them by the number of LGAs in ur state. Or don't you know division again? Remember BODMAS in ur elementary school little boy! D is the division,Idiot go and buy Macmilian quantitative reasoning book 2 which is for Primary 2,b4 u even think of growing and becoming a police officer! |

For ASP cadre, divide 500 by 37 states it will give u the number of ASPs per state. Divide that number by the number of LGAs in ur state,it will give u the number of ASPs required from each LGA. Somebody asked that is why I'm shading more light, thanks! |
