Whatever seperate ongoing court proceedings seeking to remove the 27 man faction on this same grounds of detection must take into cognisance the latest Supreme Court ruling that upheld the High Court's decision that recognised the 27 man faction as bonafide members of the Rivers state House of Assembly.

But the lawyers to the Plaintiff urged the court to not only uphold the rulings of the High Court and Appeal court but demanded that Fubara's appeal be dismissed .

The dismissal ensures that Fubara can not refile the case again at the Supreme Court to defend his continued rascality.

By the way, what makes you guys think that the issue of the 2024 budget is dead and buried because of the budget coming to an end?

The court has ruled that the budget was illegal and there's no statue of limitations for financial misconduct and flagrant disregard of the constitution. This is why governors are dragged to court for corruption after they finish their tenure.

Fubara will end up facing severe criminal charges once he is duly impeached .
