It has already began

Tinubu has been told off severally in the past that his contributions to the Buhari victory at the polls where minimal by elements from the northern political bloc. With the official launching and release of Paden's biography on Buhari which was duly approved by Buhari himself we can now see first hand that the President he (Tinubu) helped put in power has reduced his significance in contributing towards a Buhari Victory.

This is deliberate ploy to cut Tinubu to size by the CPC faction of the APC coalition and Buhari is getting much help from Tinubu's benefactors like Fashola, Fayemi and Amosun.

The likes of Amaechi, Atiku and El Rufai once prominent members of the PDP before joining the APC all have personal ambitions to occupy Aso Rock in one of the two vacancies that will be available after a Buhari inevitable exit.

The likes of Atiku holds a very personal grudge with Tinubu while Amaechi was able to bulldoze his way to Buhari in the runnups to the APC convention. El Rufai sees himself as an ethnic champion of the born to rule northern bloc and there is no way he will wait around to see Tinubu's National influence grow under Buhari and with that he and virtually all of Buhari's northern clique have been feeding buhari negatives about Tinubu.

Tinubu also has the disadvantage of many fair weather associates and political hang arounds from his own SW bloc that he knows will not hesitate to betray him for 30 pieces of silver.

The Ondo APC gubernatorial conventions was used to stage Tinubu's political funeral by these powerful opposers to his claims of leadership in the APC.

All that aside, Tinubu can not easily switch camp or carve out a separate political party out of the APC in a show of registering his displeasure. To do that will make him a political apostate in the hypocritical partisan eyes of the APC and thus consider him returning back to a "sinfully life" of the opposition and thus classified as koworpt by the partisan hypocrites in Aso Rock.

But knowing Tinubu, I doubt he will allow himself to be relegated within the APC and just simply accept his fate. To do that will see him slowly relegated further down the political power struggle within the APC. I know Tinubu will either keep fighting for relevance and refuse to be relegated or he will do the unforgiveable sin of pulling out of the APC.

Tinubu could easily do the latter but in a crucial election year in the US to which no one can easily predict the outcome, if Tinubu pulls out and the Democrats and Clinton fail to secure the US Presidency , I don't see Tinubu getting the White House protection he once enjoyed.

This is why I think Tinubu's political career end has just began.
