Inasmuch as I don't support the creation of states arbitrarily that will end up like another glorified local government, I strongly believe in the spirit of justice, equity, and fairness, some ethnic groups and regions actually deserve their own state to break away from the shackles of domination, marginalization, oppression, and unfair treatment.

Let's be truthful to ourselves. We can increase the number of states in Nigeria from 36 to 40 based on merit. USA as large as it is, has only 50 Sates. This initial list will certainly be pruned down later.
