Yes, getting intense...for me I want my property here to skyrocket cos the joining will over skyrocket property prices...and if they refuse to join, we still love the status quo

Hello, I am a current student at Cyprus International University, Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies. I am in my second year.

Another requirement towards registration for courses is that you must have good grades in English because ALL lessons will be conducted in English. If not you are required to take English preparation school.

Now I am looking forward to furthering my studies in England with one of the university's partnering institutions.

Thank you very much for your contribution @ SamAsante.. I really appreciate.. Although I've heard from countless people that jobs are a no go area due to many factors especially when you want to support yourself.... My main aim is to study.. . I'd like to know more about the scholarships

Yes, he can easily transfer to any university if he meets their admission conditions. For METU, undergraduate fees per year is roughly 9000USD without a scholarship. If he has at least 3 As and 2 Bs in his Olevel result and CGPA of >3.0, he will be issued 50% scholarship. He will need to get his transcript and olevel to get admitted.

A friend of mine said he wants to transfer to another university in north Cyprus... Metu or so.. He is currently in one of the universities in north Cyprus.. He just wants to move to a higher ranked one... How possible is it and what are the procedures... Thanks

Hello.. Please i need the reviews of all CURRENT and not prospective students at cyprus international university.. I already know about the school's accreditation... I just want to hear first hand experience from people currently there...

* please how is the educational standard ... I've seen some people saying its worse than that of Nigeria... I've seen others saying that the worst university in cyprus is better than the best university in Nigeria... Please i need your honest opinion... How is their teaching... Research... Equipment etc especially in regards to engineering?

* what's the cost of an off camp accommodation near the university?

* I've heard there are hardly any jobs... But how possible is it to get a 100% scholarship on tuition by your second year?

The form can be edited before submission and also, since you have pre-filled the pre-visa form the appointment form should automatically extract your data during appointments reservation so should not have issues filling ur details again.

However, if you have filled wrong details and submitted, you can cancel the appointment and reserve new one.

I don't think so.. A friend of mine used form A and his own reflected in less than 3 working days.. I think it depends tho.. But its better to be on the safer side

Please when filling the visa appointment form... If one makes a mistake in his/her name.. I mean in terms of spelling or ommission of a letter.. How possible is it to correct it... Or how can the issue be resolved??

The time universities send name to embassy is not fixed. However, it mostly tie to when embassy signal the university to start sending names. But I can tell that CSU, EMU, METU will start sending names from July to embassy for those coming in September.

Although it didn't take much time because in less than 2 working days the transfer was made... But I've not received my telex copy.. Or do they send telex copies for form A? Thanks in advance sir

I saw a post where someone was denied visa and had to wait for 6 months before he could apply again... None of the schools in the North Cyprus is recongnized by the the South due to political dispute that led to their civil war in the 70s. you can google it.
Your certificate is valid everywhere in the world except in Cypru (South) and maybe Greece. Many have graduated from here, infact each year Kano state sends students on scholarship.
TETFUND lecturers are also here.
unles you are refering to ranking, EMU is first followed by NEU, CIU, EULand so on.

Thanks for all the help so far.. I have one extra question... I've been seeing posts saying that CIU is not recognized by southern Cyprus and therefore is illegal.. But I've also seen posts claiming that CIU is recognized internationally with partner universities.. And that has got me a little confused... Please will the south cyprus stance affect the nature of the certificate? How do employers in Nigeria treat people with results from north Cyprus?? Thanks

What about the racism there Sir? I want to know the severity of it over there... I would also like to know about the rate of English speaking and how well someone can get along in English...
