Ok, hbabe has answered it. But If the marriage took place at the Registry where it is witnessed by family, documents signed and etc, you will need some type of divorce I believe. Is this correct hbabe , if you r familiar with it?.

My husband and I are living abroad, and want to know how we could obtain a copy of our marriage certificate. We were married at the Registry in Lagos at Ikoyi. I can't seem to find it neither can he, so how does one go about getting it. I know we should contact them direct, but do they answer the phone really( lol). I'm afraid that wont work well. If you know of any suggestions that may be helpful, Please reply.
