Did you even read the content of the news at all?

Tinubu was in charge in 2016? shocked And you expected the President to automatically know about a dealing that happened between Ogun state and a private firm for as back as then?

Jeez... You guys keep giving us reason to question the quality of Education in your region

All these informations are contained in the handover notes of the previous government. So Tinubu not been aware, is not an excuse.

cheesy

No one is talking about the risks of explosion due to lack of maintenance on gas flow lines.

Especially when a junkie enters the Danfo with his lit cigarette.

My thoughts exactly.

Abia paying 20,100 as minimum wage?2

I've said it before. Somebody or a group of people at the Abia state ministry of finance has been diverting part of the workers salary. The state government needs to look into it properly, even the state accountant general is a big suspect.

Crime / Re: Communal Dispute Brews As Itsekiri, Ijaw Tango Over Land In Delta by April4th(m): 7:03am On Apr 28
Cantonese:

Warri is definitely not an Ijaw name. It was the colonial masters who called the name Warri go make it easy for pronounciation. The Itsekiris called it Iwerre, among others. So far I have not found the Ijaw or Urhobo names. I am not holding brief for the Itsekiris.

You may please research and clear it.

Thanks.

How can the colonial masters mistake Iwerre for Warri? The name Warri stem from the Ijaws word Wari, which means house or residence. The Itshekiri's are sojourners, you can't claim because they were more educated than the aborigines they met in the town then that makes them automatic owners of the land. The first Olu of itshekiri migrated from Igbesen in Edo state to the town called warri, so what happened to the inhabitants he met? I don't need to research this issue, because I'm both Ijaw and Itshekiri by blood. I've read books and listened to the elders. So this matter has been laid to rest a long time ago and we don't need to resurrect it to cause another communal war. Have you been to Warri lately? The town has not yet recovered from the previous Ijaw/itshekiri crisis and that's the reason there's no proper development in the former oil city.

Who gave him boundary? Last time, Ijaw and Urhobo were sacked from Warri by the supreme court. High time the laws is enacted and Warri state is created to checkmate criminal fools like yourselves.

Your ignorance is stinking and your foolishness knows no bounds. Stop quoting me, if you truly don't have anything to say fool. Mind you, I'm from the two ethnic group been discussed, on this matter I can say I know more than you.

Dey play except you dey craze. It's Iwere mentioned in Ifa, even as seen in the old map.

As I said, everyone knows their boundaries. Warri is Itsekiri land.

See how stupid you sound. If Warri is Itshekiri land, why does your Olu been given boundary adjustment by Agbassa and Okere Urhobo kingdom? Even the land the olu palace is built on, belongs to the Okumagba family. It seems the people advising Tsola, are spoiling for war. They forgot what happened the last time they dared the Ijaws

[quote author=Cantonese post=129648322]Hmm.

What is the claim of the Ijaws and Urhobos over Warri, seeing that Warri as a name originated from the Itsekiris?

Having settled for Ogbe Ijoh as the local government headquarters of Warri South West by the Obasanjo government, how are the Ijaws laying claim to Ode Itsekiri as their ancestral land too.

The Ijaws inhabit the south and east of that area, do they also own the land to the Atlantic, where the Ijaws have owned and interacted with white slave traders since the 17th century?

Can someone clarify here please?

Just to clarify, the name Warri is not itshekiri but an ijaw name. Which means house or residence. Moreover the Itshekiri's are sojourners from Igbesen in present day Edo state and only migrated to Warri.
