PressMyButton: So, IMF apologized?,Lol. Who gave them the initial fake and unsubstantiated data before?, maybe a mad man gave them like someone from Agulu. You can't come here to talk nonsense and downgrade an economy that's stabilizing, an economy that Fitch rating upgraded, Chattam House upgraded, JP Morgan upgraded, even this same IMF had recently said the reforms would help Nigeria withstand the current global shocks. So, what was IMF smoking?. And then some wailers had their tails up and even compared Nigeria to Argentina. You see, these wailers, they are largely a bunch of educated illiterates. How can you compare Nigeria's recovery with that of Argentina's crippling economy?. Half the population of Argentina are below the poverty line, inflation is almost 60%, unemployment rate is skyrocketing, Argentina's foreign reserves is $22million, Argentina President is crawling on his knees to IMF for a $20billion loan to tackle inflation, and some illiterates parading themselves as social media critics or opposition are comparing that kind of economy with us?. If shamelessness was a human, Nigerian wailers will be it.

Even more pathetic is citizens who are subjugated cheering them on, like they will partake of the political largesse. |

fergie001: Pastor Poju Oyemade, the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation (TCN), a Ministry headquartered in Lagos has in his sermon yesterday, which has now gone viral, claimed that Nigerian Doctors fleeing the country are ungrateful.
In Nigeria, a person will graduate as a medical doctor and spend N500,000 throughout to become a doctor. In America, you graduate from Johns Hopkins, you graduate from Harvard as a doctor, and you spend $2,000. Are you okay? Do you know how much money you spend?
Nigerians are ungrateful. They will go through everything, education. How much do they spend there? You see a Nigerian, if they tell him in Nigeria to do two jobs, he will curse your life out.
They will come to America, wake up in the morning, do first job, do second job, do Uber, and do, everything he’s doing. I said, if they put the fraction of this energy they put here in their country, they will have blown. - Oyemade

SmartPolician: Leadership is complicated. You can never say the people love a leader if you don't live in that country. Someone in America can argue that Nigerians love Tinubu, especially when they read comments from agbadorians who spend 24/7 online defending him and his thoughtless policies.
Traore should've responded to the concerns the Americans raised if he was truly running a transparent government and not stealing from his people. Perhaps Traore could be stealing 5% of their resources as against 50% probably demanded by the French government.
One may argue that it's better, but it doesn't mean that Traore is any better. If you accuse me of being a thief, the onus is on you to prove that you are better than me by running a transparent govt. So what if he steals all the resources like tinubu is currently doing? How Is it US business? They should invade Nigeria too na Have we not learnt anything from Libya and ghadaffi ? |
