The OP nailed it with the 3rd reason. FUNDING!!! I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HND/BSC THING HAS BEEN CAUSING A LOT OF CONTROVERSIES FOR SO LONG! THE PROBLEM IS JUST FUNDING FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE GOVERNMENT NEGLECTED THE POLYTECHNIC SYSTEM! JUST LIKE THEY PLACED MORE PRIORITY ON OIL THAN AGRICULTURE! WHO SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR THAT ![]() That's Nigeria for you! We all know that! I bagged my ND at Ado, before obtaining D.E to OAU. If you haven't been there you might not really get it. Both institutions are unique in their own way. |

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode] I just wish I could develop a super human ability right now! So as to gather all NIGERIANS in a single room, speak the sense in this article into their lives and change their mental conditioning for life! Commending the OP alone wont change anything! The problem is how to make everyone aware of the truth, so we can all change! We have 1,518,041 members on nairaland as at this moment, and probably another million guests, Please let's share and preach this truth to everyone near us! Don't forget to preach the gospel too! By telling people to pull over the vehicle of their lives and allow Jesus to take over! #GodBlessNigeria #End Time Is No More Near, Its Here! |
olarmybee:Okay, I also thought as much. Tnx. |
Has anyone printed His/Her 2015 DE Acknowledge Slip? I've printed the admission letter* Do I need to get another scratch card for the *Acknowledge Slip*?

OP C'mon! It's the same in UAE. After further research I discovered that the reason street lamps are yellow is actually far more simple than that: orange light is cheaper to produce. Most street lighting comes in the form of high pressure sodium lamps, which produce the most amount of light for the least amount of electricity required to power them. That picture was taken at Baniyas Square, Dubai.

I was at the scene this afternoon, at a landmark called Moniya in Akinyele Local Government in Ibadan. I saw how the fire slowly bursted out beneath the bus from the engine. Which could have been put off in no time with a FIRE EXTINGUISHER! The bus driver had no fire extinguisher present in the bus, so he had to start calling for help from people around, but no one could produce a FIRE EXTINGUISHER for Christ's sake! Including His co-commercial drivers and some private vehicle owners present at the scene. Some said they have but it's empty. All people could help him with were almighty fire solution: water+detergent, sand and shouts of "ina o, ina o" Omi o! which means "Fire! Fire!" Water! They weren't shouting for fire extinguisher! So sad! Then I remembered how a commercial bus driver high on Ibadan weed and local dry gin almost stabbed an FRSC official for impounding his bus because he had no fire extinguisher in his bus. Same applies to "some" private vehicle owners, most of them thinks the FRSC are being too stupid for asking them to have a working fire extinguishers in their cars. You need to see the look on the driver's face, as he watched the source of his daily bread for him and his family being burnt down with passengers' goods inside. I looked at him with great pity. I think people need to understand the great importance of having a functioning fire extinguisher around always, not only in their cars, but also in their houses, because I know if you're not guilty of not having one in your car, you must be guilty of not having one in your house. I know someone will comment " Hypocritical OP! Shey u sef get one for ur house? I know what some nairalanders are capable of! "Great people, Awesome Minds! I hail o! ![]()
