Pandering and prostrating to criminals and terrorists and letting them hold us to ransom and blackmail every year is more dangerous and destructive which affects me more than the price of Naira.
Submitting to terrorists means you abdicated and given up your sovereignty and authority. You've also let terrorists know that you are weak, you can not fight or defend your country and they are free to hold you to ransom whenever they need money.
If you pay them today, you'll keep paying them and getting disruptions forever because next year another terrorist group will show up with a new name demanding the same thing.
It's either you stand your ground or keep getting hold to ransom and blackmail, having your authority and sovereignty undermined forever.
jamesibor: THE PAN-NIGER STRUGGLE The struggle has always being a Pan-Niger Delta one, we only know the anti Niger Delta elements are using some disorganized characters from the region to scuttle all effort to restore the essence of our humanity; resources control and self-determination.
We are going to support any collective/negotiation team emerging from the Chief (Dr.) Papa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark Niger Delta elders and genuine stakeholders conference to engage with the federal government of Nigeria, representatives from the home countries of all multinational Oil Corporations and neutral international mediators that will be focused on achieving the short, medium and long term frameworks and objectives to de-escalating conflicts in the Niger Delta. Most of the frameworks and objectives are clearly stated in various reports, declarations and recommendations of the likes of the Sir.Henry Willinks minority rights reports of pre-independence Nigeria (1957-, The Kaiama Declaration document, The General Alexander Ogomudia report, The Leedum Mittee headed, Niger Delta Technical Committee report and restructuring to fiscal federalism.
We have resolved to reject any idea of the peace of our times; we want the peace with honor this time around! Our advice to our Niger Delta elders and genuine stakeholders is that, whenever this inhuman project called Nigeria and her government is ready for dialogue/negotiations with them, this mandate should be treated with that care as driving a vehicle like that of a truck laden with fire.
We are going to continue the observation of our unannounced cessation of hostilities in the Niger Delta against all interest of the Multinational oil Corporations, but we will continuously adopt our asymmetric warfare during this period if, the Nigerian government and the ruling political APC continues to use security agencies/agents, formations and politicians to arrest, intimidate, invade and harass innocent citizens, suspected NDA members and invade especially Ijaw communities.
We promise to fight more for the Niger Delta, if this opportunity fails. Therefore, we will give our Niger Delta elders and genuine stakeholders that tacit support to the dialogue table with the government and the Multinational oil Corporations whenever the enabling environment prevails.
We also use this medium to warn those using rogue platforms like the defunct so-called MEND, RNDA- Cynthia Whyte especially Charles Okah who is franchising these internet based banditry from his prison cell, through Victor Ebikabowei Ben (Boyloaf), Timipre Silva, Selekaye Ebikabowei, Ayirimi Emani, Michael Johnny, Governor Adams Oshiomole to please inform those their paymasters that the days of doom are here. That those sold and bought up interests from around the corridors of power cannot arm-twist the NDA with bandits, drug addicts, illegal bunkerers, bank robbers and disorganized characters to derail the Niger Delta struggle.
Abeg keep blowing and never never never stop till you destroyed everything in your land and soak every inch of your land with crude oil and when you are done, drink and shayo with all oyel......
Awon oloshi terorirts think they are doing us a favor...
Henry240: Oga please think, you have a brain, now use it.
Requirements determine acquisition, not wishful thinking. We do not have a requirement to arm up like Algeria, as such we do not have to.
Our military is designed to do a job, a job it does very well. We don't need to counter "battalions of S400" (whatever this your ignorant comment means) from Algeria because we don't have a threat from Algeria.
Dummy.
Very correct and sensible post.
Militaries spend based on immediate needs, regional threats and dynamics and not on other country's regional situations needs, threat assessments and dynamics.
Many here here are just ignorant little boys fantasizing over pictures and their favorite toys..
policy12: After seeing ur post I lost hope in this country...
You didn't feel sorry for Nigeria Jona and his service chiefs were stealing our money and buying used and decommissioned jets that can not carry or fire weapons, instead you were busy shouting GEJ till 2019..
Kennycyphers: Are you out to battle with me.. Hope you know I don't have the time. Show me 1 city that's not prone to erosion.. Which is as a result of poor physical planning policies by the government.. Am not saying that there are no bad roads in Awka with over flown drainage... [/s]I just pointed out that the pic up there is not Ziks Avenue.
Your brothers and sisters posted the Pictures on FB, not me
The links and pictures came from different ibo websites, not mine
Jona and his looting and stealing gang bought used and non weaponized jets that can not fire bullets or drop bombs.. This is why the service chiefs under jona were buying mansions and luxuries all over the place while jona himself gave them national awards..
989900: They will hate NOI for this, BTW, she was part of the same system too.
She basically excluded herself from that government as if she was not part of it or wasn't even the finance minister and economic coordinator responsible for our economy and money..
It's one thing to be incompetent, it's another to be deceptive and dishonest..
Btw, forget about ipobs and what they don't like, they are not Nigerians so who cares.....
The truth is coming out finnaly.. but it's too late for all that, you don't have to tell us Jona got us in trouble, you were part of it, you contributed by colluding with the same Jona you are now throwing under the bus by stealing and handing over our money to Dasuki to share with the whole of PDP..
apcisevil: Igbos don't want to be part of your one Nigeria. ..haven't you notice that? I think you start championing a Nigeria devoid of Igbos so you can enjoy your peaceful one Nigeria
1. Zik/obo man wanted and supported amalgamation and alliance with the North to formulate Nigeria as country and federation.
2. Aguiyi Ironsi/ibo man and as the head of state promulgated Decree Number 34 of 1966 that abolished regional administration, formally joined us together and replaced it with the absurdity and federal center we have today.
3. Our problems since day one starting from Zik's/ibo alliance with the North to form Nigeria to the first coup and blood shed in Nigeria to Aguiyi Ironsi/ibo man terminating regional administration was engineered by the your SE people and leadership.
Learn from your own history and recognize the evil participation and atrocities perpetrated by the shortsighted leaders who in one breath wanted Nigeria and then derailed Nigeria and set Nigerian on a dangerous path..
Ibo is the reason why we have one Nigeria today...
StOla: OP, I believe you wanted to say "we SE and SE".
My own question is why are Igbos always craving for anarchy, and why are they always jubilant at any news of crisis or turmoil in other parts of Nigeria?
Biafman: Who's leaders and who are they leading. Are you too stupid and ignorant to know the person called Nnamdi Kanu? Now, that is a true leader of a nation called Biafra. To hell with your Nigeria and PDP zoning to North and hausa/fulani, waiting concern me even if they zone their useless leadership to Ghana.
Oh, that terrorist locked up inside cage is your leader?
Biafman: Peeps like you are the type we call fools in Igboland. The hausa/fulanis are fighting their own cause which is to maintain Nigeria as one to their own dubious benefit and what do the use to make this possible and achieve their aim? They use Nigerias military, police, navy, airforce and other forces which they have connered 100% to engage in violence and suspicious scheme masking under the cloak of ONE Nigeria. It will be foohardy for anyone to blame any group that finds other means to secure their own arms to fight the hausa/fulanis and liberate themselves from their clutches. Nigeria is not and will never be a country and any group that will instigate violence and suspicious scheme as a means of liberating themselves from those using Nigeria as a legal means of holding unto what belongs to others are highly welcome and supported.
You hate hausa fulani so much, but all your leaders and the Jona you worship are all PDP and the same PDP just zoned their presidential slot to the same North and hausa fulani so that leaves you where exactly? In the wilderness.
You can not substitute common sense qith hate and bigotry..
Though I am in agreement with virtually everyone from the Niger Delta that the marginalization meted to our people by the Nigeria state
1. The Nigerian state did not marginalize you, Ibori marginalized you by looting you dry and he's in jail for his crimes against you.
2. The Nigerian state did not marginalize you, Alams marginalized you by looting you dry
3. The Nigerian state did not marginalize you, Emmanuel Uduaghan marginalized by looting you dry and leaving you with nothing to show for 8 years of governance..
4. he Nigerian state did not marginalize you, Odili marginalized you by looting you dry..
5. The Nigerian state did not marginalize you, Jona as the governor of Bayelsa not building ordinary classroom or doing anything for you as the president of Nigeria marginalized you.
You get IGRs
You get allocations that's higher than many states
You get billions in amnesty money flowing to that region
Obviously, you get more than the rest of Nigeria and it's all because of your oil.
Today, Delta is the largest debtor state in Nigeria, that state owe N700 billion, that's N300 billion more than Lagos state, bu can you show us 1 single thing or meaningful in that state to justify that huge debt?
Please, we are all Nigerians and we all know what's going on so stop trying to fool us with that marginalization story, that story is worthless and it played out a long time ago...
judondasylva: wow so that's the best way to counter all the points he raised or is it that u can't read or that u can't understand? sorry
One year and two months ago, we were generating 5000 megawatts of power for the electrical grid but today, we are generating less than 2000 megawatts.
Nigeria’s power generation drops to 2,800MW
Nigeria’s total electricity generation has dropped to a meagre 2,800 Megawatts, the lowest in nearly a year, as Nigerians struggle with mini-heat waves due to rising temperature. The Ministry of Power said Thursday that power output dropped from a recent peak of 4,500MW on April 3, to 2,800 as of March 30. Godknows Igali, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry blamed the huge cut on “vandalism of gas pipelines”. Mr. Igali spoke at a meeting with the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ade Abolurin, where he called for increased protection of Nigeria’s power infrastructure. He said the affected pipeline is the Escravos route. “As at April 3, which is the nearest reference point for us, we were able to generate about 4,500MW on the grid, but as at this morning we had gone down to about 2,800MW. “So you can see how much power we have lost as a result of vandalism, that is why power supply has become very bad all over the country because of these strange Nigerians that continue to deliberately blow up our gas pipelines,” Mr. Igali said.
I try not to waste my time responding to drug addicts and discredited crooked and corrupt people like this Cocaine addict especially when they spew either ignorance, lies and deceptive rubbish just to fool unsuspecting Nigerians like you.
1. In march and months before this entrance of the new administration which fell under the crooked and corrupt PDP and government this drug addict was part of was generating a little over 2000MW as detailed in the above article so you can see why I did not bother wasting my time on the idiotic addict and his ill informed rubbish and lies...
2. They attributed the drop to vandalism which we are still experiencing with the terrorists in the region.
3. They were generating a little over 2000MW before the new administration, but the this new administration was generating 5000MW before terrorists disruptive activities..
Nigeria attains electricity generation milestone of 5,000MW
The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, yesterday announced that for the first time in the history of Nigeria’s electricity generation profile, the country has attained the milestone of generating about 5,074 megawatts, MW, of electricity. Disclosing this through its Deputy General Manager, Public Affairs, Clement Ezeolisah, the System Operator department of TCN announced the attainment of the new peak generation of 5,074.7MW as well as the highest maximum daily energy of 109,372 Megawatts Hour (MWH) which it transmitted across to electricity distribution companies in the country.
Ezeolisah revealed in a statement that the new mark was attained at 9.30pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2016
For the first time in our history, this new administration generated over 5000MW in less than 2 years, something 16 years of PDP couldn't do even with all the $20 billion power funds they looted and share..
This drug addict is talking about our economy when in fact he was part of the gang that destroyed out economy by looting and stealing our money, and in fact he's on currently on trial for stealing our money so who is this jack ass to open mouth about anything.?
There is a clear difference between political affiliations and real facts, something many of you don't know or just confused yourself with because you are too blinded to reason logically or seek facts..
Indian EPC Sterling and Wilson to deliver 250 MW of Nigerian solar power
The developer will complete 250 MW of solar capacity in Nigeria over the next two-to-three years having been selected as part of a recent push to get 975 MW online.
The recent signing of 975 MW of power purchase agreements (PPAs) by Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading (BNET) Plc under Nigeria’s FIT program has led to Indian EPC Sterling and Wilson being chosen to develop 250 MW of that capacity.
The PPAs, agreed earlier this month in one of the first tangible signs of activity in Nigeria’s large-scale solar sector, will see government-owned NBET snap up the solar power produced for a price of $0.115/kWh.
For its part, Sterling and Wilson hopes to complete its 250 MW of commissioned project in the next two-to-three years to add to its growing 1 GW portfolio of completed solar parks globally.
The Indian developer has a 260 MW clean energy pipeline in Egypt, 175 MW in Morocco, 87 MW in South Africa and 7 MW in Niger, so is well positioned to continue to serve Africa’s growing clean energy appetite. It also has a completed 90 MW solar farm in South Africa under its belt, the company confirmed.
“With the recently announced PPAs of 975 MW, we see huge solar potential opening up in Nigeria,” said Sterling and Wilson’s solar business president Bikesh Ogra. “We are well positioned to support growth in the solar market in Nigeria through our presence and experience, as more investors are focusing on reliable, bankable solar EPCs that can commission projects on time.”
Yesterday, Nigeria’s government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nigus Greenergy and Volt Renewables for the creation of three 100 MW solar PV plants in three of the country’s northern states.
Yes, it is not Zik road, your own brothers and sisters are lying, the whole internet and the ibo websites the info and pictures came from are lying....the fact hat you don't know your own village should sadden you...
Love Machine: What have Nigeria achieve so far,in this force amalgamation? 1.Fulani herdsmen rampaging killings 2.Militants threat to secede from Nigeria 3.Bokoharam Islamic agenda 4.Buhari nepotism and political withhunting.

I took him 8 long years to give his people this uncompleted waste and uncompleted white elephant, still the man flew abroad for bandied on his leg and his wife also flew abroad for treatment, then what happens to the sick common man in akwa ibom
davtosh: I thought I was the only person many unreasonable comments baffle. The same people calling some ppl zombies are the people behaving like zombies. When anyone from their side is accused of criminal acts whether he is guilty or not he must be left alone. because in the blood of their generations flows curroption, that's same reason the nation's image is dented mostly by them them.
Now on the issue of Aisha Buhari, once one of them said "She should go to the US if she's innocent" ,the only song every other Ipond must sing is Let her go to the US, they don't need to think about. who is now a ZOMBIE?
Can't they think that going to court is like the woman is nailing herself by do doing what she has done. If Fayose is so sure of his allegations let him forget about immunity and go straight into prooving the woman guilty. so simple
If I were him I would make history by stripping myself off the immunity clause to proove the woman guilty. If he still hides under the immunity clause then he is a bastard son of Oduduwa.
Sad irony.. Beats me why the obvious zombies call other people zombies.
