tonididdy: super story...I guess.buisness is not as sweet and hornish as u claim. Don't tell him what he wants to hear. Tell him what he should be ready for Well, I has been sweet to me. Guess I'm lucky The OP is matured enough to choose what's best for him from the pool of advice he got on this thread. This helped other readers too, because of my testimony one has decide to Join Fiverr and even promised to share his experience by December. Visit those platforms and see how people with brains make hundreds of dollars monthly, don't just stay on NL and imagine it's ne possible. Also, I didn't ask anything from anyone. It's just a simple advice, so if you don't agree with it you can take a chill and move on. |

Southark: Please don't do the VPN thing. If you do it, you will be banned. Also, Nigerian people forget that in addition to VPN, your bank account funds remittance country is logged by Odesk. Your VPN can't be showing that you are in USA and you are listing a Nigerian bank account for your funds remittance. Just apply humbly. As long as you bid competitively, and show humility through your profile statement, you will get jobs. The hardest part is getting your first Five jobs, after that you will find it easier. the first Five jobs are hard because most people don't like hiring people without track record.
People like us are looking for Nigerians to hire because we are tired of enriching people in other countries. You will get a good job. Just be honest. Great, thank you for pointing out. I did mine in 2013, Fiverr was not that strict when it comes to IP stuffs. Good to hear you're looking out for Nigerians, it's about time we start helping each other. |

lookingforjob: Can one get form filling and data entry jobs on there? Yes my friend, browse through the categories and see your future competitors. Good luck. PS. Some people have built a bad reputation for we Nigerians, it'll be hard for you to get a client honestly. So I advice you make use of a VPN to mask your PC IP Address to USA or UK, always use it all the time and remember to build a good name, it's better than the few $$ you make at the beginning. Looking forward to your testimony around December when you buy a Car or House |

Southark: If you have computer skills, I advice seriously you try this. My Brother runs a technology company and they have 12 programmers of which 10work from Odesk from Bangladesh/India/Pakistan/Canada/Ukraine/Mexico. Also, they hire people for other things like language translations, voiceovers etc. Eg. The voiceover done in this video is from a lady in Canada. www.quickairtime.com/webvideo The language translations. Any job at all that can be done and delivered digitally, you can get it from here. You can get a professional consulting job on story writing, press releases etc. Think about it seriously. Thank you for the back up my friend, most people don't believe money is still being made legally online. I don't blame them though, you have to be lucky enough to escape being scammed. Thanks to JideTheBlogger who kept motivating me and others on his blog www.ogbongeblog.com back in 2011. I was scammed many times, but kept believing if he can make it.. Then I will make it too. Oga Jide, when you read this.. I want to use this medium to apologize copying posts from your blog back in 2011/2012. I'm not a blogger anymore, I've found a new love |

lookingforjob: Sorry i was rude to u earlier. One has to be careful on this platforms. Those shitty ebook sellers has made everyone cautious. There was a guy in the sport section who was advertising an ebook on how to win football bet easily. I knew it was a scam since betting is not certain No problem friend, one has to be careful. I agree with you on this. I was good at buying shitty eBooks since 2011 with no returns, I tried a new method (freelancing) without buying a book. Just by reading a blog post about Fiverr, I joined and offered my expertise and it worked. Since then I don't even give second look to eBook sellers. |

PS. Nairaland have alerted of Messages sent to my inbox.
Sorry I cannot tutor anyone or continue talking about this, so far someone just tried to call me a scammer on this thread just for sharing my testimony with the OP.
There are information online on how to make it on fiverr and freelancer. The main asset is what you have on your brain, so please don't pay any one to tutor you or buy any shitty book.
If the author was that busy making money on those platforms, he wouldn't have the time to write and market it. I assure of this, it's time consuming. |

lookingforjob: Your story sounds too good to be true. You claim to be in to programming and graphic design and u helped someone who's system was hacked when you're not a penetration tester or a certified ethical hacker Besides all those site u listed up there pays in dollar and there is no option of transferring funds to naija account. i hail thee Let me get it straight, I said if he has skills in programming or graphic. I didn't mention my skills. So, I'm a programmer. What's hard in un-hacking a Wordpress based site They pay in dollars, i have got Payoneer Card that allows me to withdraw my funds in nairA on any master card supported ATM. I didn't asked him or anyone for anything, Infact I don't even have the time to tutor anyone. So if it's too good for you to believe, Chill |

I've got loads of Messages and honestly I can't help anyone on this.
I have programming skills, I went of Fiverr and earned money with it. It's simple.
I never expected someone to ask me to teach him/her. It's so easy and obvious, I don't see what's left to teach.
I therefore withdraw my first comment. |

To the OP, we don't have that energy to reply those bashings. After taking potato chips with fried eggs and plantain with some peak dominated tea, then drive down to office in a fully Air Conditioned Honda 98 coupe - v6 What do you expect from me? Meanwhile, down East... Someone took Garri and a very hard Kuli-Kuli. Then logged into Nairaland with the 10mb MTN gave him/her. What do you expect |

Car Talk › Re: Honda Experts Needed Here Please by arewatech(op): 9:27am On Feb 09, 2015 |
sultaan: If you are used to you 92 Civic I will not suggest you go for a 98 V6 Accord coupe fuel cos on you mind will not be affordable. If you really want to upgrade get a newer Civic like a 2001-2005 Civic.
Some will say it is not reasonable to suggest another Civic as upgrade but a I-4 Accord could cost him N5k/wk in fuel. OP is used to a smaller car did not give any reason for a bigger car so instead of weekly cost going to fuel he may also spend the money on a newer upgrade but maintain his weekly budget I agree with you. But if the fuel consumption is not going to double what i'm spending right now, then I can afford that. I'm a student, also doing some business. I can afford to maintain it, if it's not going to break my savings during rainy days |

Meanwhile, back to topic. I would advise you stick to the I4 engine. Your proposed upgrade is a nice car you would enjoy to drive. Go boy! Go get her!!! I assure you of Kaduna, Katsina and Kano. They all call it Henessy. Thank you for the advice man. |
Car Talk › Re: Honda Experts Needed Here Please by arewatech(op): 6:17pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
FlyboyZee: Waoh! I didn't know that. I know that the 2001-2005 Honda Civic is what is referred to as the Honda Hennessey. While the 1998-2002 North American Honda Accord is what is popularly known as the Baby Boy. (Please, see pix attached below for emphasis). I never knew they had different names up North and down South. Well, we are learning every day. We call the Baby Boy, Henessy |
