Phones / Learn How To Open A Whatsapp Chat With Yourself And Enjoy The Many Advantages by ArewaTech1: 7:33pm On Jan 20
Thanks to this function, you can save notes and multimedia files, and stop sending them to the chat of the ex who blocked you. wink

Opening a WhatsApp chat with yourself can be quite useful to have important files or messages on hand. Thus, you will access cooking recipes, to-do lists or the supermarket list in a practical and fast way.

Therefore, here I give you the best way so that you can send yourself messages, photos, voice clips, among other files and thus, stop using the chats of people who have blocked you.

1. Open your phone's browser,

2. In the address bar type wa,me/and-add-your-country-code-and-your-phone-number. For example, for wa,me/2347020576973

3. Then a window will appear with an invitation to chat with the corresponding number and a button that says "Continue to chat." Then press that option

4. Select WhatsApp or WA Business (whichever you're using), a new chat with yourself will open in the WhatsApp application and you can start sending yourself messages or different multimedia files

If you want access to the chat with yourself to be even more direct, you should know that WhatsApp allows you to keep up to three conversations at the top of the message list. To do so, you just have to press and hold the chat you want to pin and choose the first icon that appears at the top (from left to right).

Any recommendation will be appreciated.
There is a way, but it involved a pc and a paid app.
if you can pay for a windows app (about 25USD) you can move your chats.

These guys are really making life hard for us that are studying abroad.

Imagine not able to book a hotel or rent an apartment just because you're a Nigerian.

Imagine not able to open a bank account in a country you've been living for several years.

No one wants to associate with you the moment they heard you're from Nigeria.

May God punish everyone that has contributed in tarnishing the image of Nigeria.

Go to their office. They ll input the no in their database to check its availability. If it's available, you can still get it but if it's reassigned, there is nothing you can do

I have reached to them on social media, the representative ran a check and said it was assigned to someone. but the thing is throughout 2020 I call the number every single day and it's always switched off.

I'm very sure it's not actively being used.

What can I do?

I don't think chat backup from one platform to another(iOS to Android) is possible (yet).

if you really need your chats just export them to your email and start afresh.
Travel / My Parcel With Npost Still Showing "Item Booked" Since November 2020 by ArewaTech1: 9:18pm On Jan 04
Hello Nairalanders,

I posted a parcel using NIPOST from Sokoto, Nigeria to Uttar Pradesh, India since 11/11/2020. But since then whenever I tried tracking it, it keeps saying item booked (means the parcel is still in Sokoto). I contacted the EMS Manager at Sokoto NIPOST he said that the item is in India, the movement is just not updated on the internet. I reached out to India Post Service and they said "The origin Post is yet to dispatch it. Kindly ask the sender to raise a complaint with Origin Post."

Please, what do I do?

is it known of NIPOST to lose people's properties?

if the parcel is lost how do I request for full payment?

Thank you

Help me to understand you better, if both accounts are First bank accounts, then what is your business with Quickteller when you should have use your bank Mobil app.

For some reasons I can't register for mobile banking and can't use ussd. WHY?? Because the account is a CARD ACCOUNT (that's what first bank keeps telling me).

So my only option was to use quickteller, and that's why I used it.

I hope it made sense to you now.

Thank you
Phones / How Can I Resolve Quickteller Issue by ArewaTech1: 8:32am On Dec 27, 2020
Hello nairalanders,

So I made a transfer of 30,000 Nigerian Naira on 21st December 2020 using my First Bank Visa Prepaid Card to another First Bank account, the transfer is showing successful on Quickteller, but up until now (27th December 2020) the account I sent the money to is not credited and the money is not refunded back to my account.

I tried reaching out to quickteller via email, but the mail keeps bouncing back.

Please, any help on how to got this issue resolved.

Thank you.

Why roam with MTN instead of using another service providers?
Why didn't you use the home country's service provider?
Just asking for enlightenment

I have local service provider here, but MTN is connected with banks. It's what I use for receiving bank alerts & OTPs. It's more convenient for me than email alerts.

I really need it.

Hello fellow Nairalanders,
For the past 1 week my MTN sim card is out of service.
I'm living in India.

Is anyone here (living outside Nigeria) facing or faced this sort of roaming issues.

bigtt76:
Yea so some banks disabled their cards from Quickteller because its an easy avenue through which fraudsters empty people's account through purchase of airtime or data bundles among others.

As it is, you have no option but to sign up for mobile app or Internet bank access or try the bank's USSD code.

First Bank is giving a hard time, back in Nigeria they convinced us to get a prepaid card and now whatever I tried registering (first bank services) they tell me either my card can't be used for that or simply I don't have a card with the bank.

I just tried registering for the USSD but it didn't work.

Thank you.

Where are you transferring money from and to where? You can try Flutterwave's Get Barter App. It allows you fund your balance using bank account transfer (assuming you have access to do bank transfer from your bank's mobile app or Internet bank. You can use card too but might be expensive assuming the issue with your card is Quickteller related and not your bank. All the best

Thank you, I am transferring the money from my First Bank Account to GTBank/Zenith Bank/Access Bank.

I don't have access to internet banking or mobile app, because whenever I try registering first bank keeps telling me that I can't use my current card to signup for those services.

The issue is bank related not Quickteller.

Thank you once again.

I Am Currently Outside Nigeria, And First Bank ATM Cards No Longer Works With Quickteller.
