But this was not for Suraju, a popular beggar at Ketu bus-stop in Lagos who according to eye witnesses got healed by a Deeper Life Bible Church pastor who identified himself as Pastor Enahoro. Saturday Sun gathered that the cripple often crawls to a particular place where he begs passers-by for his daily bread prior to his healing. Speaking to our correspondent, the pastor who performed the miracle said that he had noticed the man for weeks and was moved with compassion to pray for him. “Anytime I pass this area, I noticed that he normally begs at this spot. That was about three weeks ago. By God’s grace, I saw him and I pitied his situation and I prayed to God to give me the grace to pray for this man. “At a certain time, I stood for some minutes looking at him but talking to God on how I will go about it. But after that very day of praying, I summoned the courage. I told God that this is not the ministry of delivering insane people which He called me to do. “I told God to bless me with other ministry so that I can help people. So it was today I saw him but I had a particular mission to go to Adekunle area to look for a particular man who was insane to pray for him and so by the grace of God, as I was contemplating whether I should go or not, I just went to him with boldness believing God that a miracle would happen. So I went to him and asked him how long he had been in that situation and whether he would like to walk again, I kept asking him. He just said no to all the questions. It was then I knew he could not understand English. “Then I saw somebody, a guy pushing a wheel barrow who I believed understood Hausa. I told him to help me tell the man that I would want to pray for him and would want him to walk. He did as I told him and the man still said no, that was when I knew it was not just language barrier but the activities of darkness. Then I prayed for him and miraculously, he walked,” he said. Another witness, Shola who was among the crowd awed by the miracle told our correspondent that he knew the beggar. “I know this beggar. For a long time now, he has been begging for money at this particular spot, from morning till late at night. Honestly, this is my first time to see such a miracle,” he said. Speaking through a translator, the man who was healed said he hails from Kastina State and has been a cripple and begged for alms for 27 years.

It took me hours to come to terms with the fact that you accepted the result of the election. With the great power at your disposal to swing the pendulum towards your direction, you proved to the world that you are not power drunk, that you are a true states man, and an ardent believer of the democratic process. You have a good heart. I must confess that Nigerians Just Lost there must sincere and conscience driven president. You prove to them all ( OBJ, IBB, AMAECHI, TINUBU) that you are not like them. healed.

DON'T TAKE OVER !
A man's choice of wife can either be his making or his breaking. She is either a delight or a disaster. She becomes a disaster when she tries to take over the man's positiin in the home, thus becoming lousy and bossy, and consequently overthrowing the man into a corner of the home. When this happens, she becomes rotteness in his bones instead of being a crown on his head. (Prov 12:4).
God created the woman to be a companion and helpmeet for the man to support him in the work God had assigned for him and help him succeed at it.( Gen 2:18-22). She is equally to seek to fulfil her own godly potential in a unique way and be a vessel of honour through which God will fulfil His purpose in the lives of every member of her household.
The woman's role in the life of a man, therefore is not that of a controller or competitor, but that of a supporter and encourager, whatever abilities, talents, gifts, resources and privileges she has must be used for the benefit if her husband and her home. She may be richer and more educated than her husband but she must still be submissive and not assertive in order to enjoy her marriage.if we consider the command for wives to submit to their husbands like unto christ in Eph 5:22, it will become obvious that God wants the wife to regard her husband as a small "lord" (1pet 3:5,6). Usually lords are to be respected, honoured and obeyed. When a wife treats her husband as lord and king, the husband in response will also treat her as a wonderful queen and she will end up enjoying more!.
Moreover Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. This means no virtuous wife will be seen as arrogant or domineering. She will not be seen as being in charge in the home. She will be acting under the permssion and authority of her husband.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
It goes without saying rhen that an ideal wife who will make the marriage happy must be tender,obedient,loving,hardworking, understanding,enduring and full if wisdom. She must knw when to be keep quiet and when it is time for active purposeful talking or listening thereby contributing truly to mutually satisfying conversation. She is expected to make time for her husband, promoting love, warmth and affection, share humor and relaxation. She must be thoughtful of her husband's feelings, empathise with love, express appreciation and demonstrate affection all the time. As she empathizes with him she makes herself more loving and lovable to him.
Even if the husband has his shortcomings, her duty is not to sit in Judgement over him but to counsel, advise and to pray for him. She is to lift him up to God in prayer without ceasing to perfect his work of grace on his life and keep him on his feet. Essentially, she must be on her knees so that he can be on his feet. Martin Luther's wife prayed and fasted and the discouraged heart of her husband was set on fire to continue in the work of God. Catherine Booth also supported the ministry if her husband who was the founder if the renowed Salvation Army.
We must never forget as godly women that the care and honour of our husbands is part of our God. We must be careful to avoid the principles and practices of worldly women because the system of the world is anti- purpose, plan and will of God. The grace and authority to direct the home is given to man and not to the woman. So, dear sister, don't take over; play your own role well and the God of heaven will bless and reward you.

Impeachment: I’m innocent, says Enugu deputy
governor.
Enugu Deputy Governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi,
yesterday, at the State High Court Complex,
where the panel investigating allegations against
him is sitting, told newsmen that he is innocent
of impeachment allegations against him.
The deputy governor who sat throughout
yesterday in company with his wife, said not only
him, but the members of the Assembly and the
country’s democracy were on trial, insisting that
he was out to prove his innocence even if he was
eventually impeached.
Said he: “I believe the chief judge of the state
exercised his constitutional authority to set up the
seven-man panel. I believe that eventually, justice
will triumph. It is true that I am the one standing
trial but also I want to say that our democracy is
also on trial. I want to say also that justice is on
trial and I want to say that integrity of all those
involved, including that of the panel members are
also on trial.
“I believe that no matter how we are able to
fabricate lies and try to manipulate truth and
embellish what happened and what did not
happen, eventually if not now, later the truth will
triumph over falsehood.
“It is a situation where the person on the floor,
who is stepped on, who is being marched, did not
complain, rather the person marching him is the
one complaining. All the birds were removed from
the poultry in question on January 27 and some
of you witnessed it. Till now, I did not ask
anybody what happened to it; whether they were
sold, eaten or whatever happened, I never
complained.
“Rather, the person who took my birds is the one
complaining but I am confident. I believe it is a
straight-forward case. I believe I have not
committed any crime; I believe that I am here
because it is better to defend myself and protect
my hard-earned reputation and my integrity; that
is more important to me than the office of the
deputy governor.
“I do not mind loosing the office but let the public
know that I did not commit any crime. I did not
commit any offence that will justified my being
removed and I am prepared to accept even being
removed in the process of letting the people know
the truth. Let you people, the journalists, let the
people of Enugu State, the people of Nigeria be
the judge as to how honourabe the honourable
members…
“I do not want to start saying things about them
but let the people be the judge on how
honourable they have been and I believe that
eventually, I will triumph because the most
important thing is that there is a court of man,
there is a panel of man but there is also a court
of God, where nobody can change the truth. The
God, who sees what is hidden will also give His
verdict at the appropriate time.
“I want to commend the panel for listening to the
protest of my lawyer because when we came in
the morning they announced that they did not
want media coverage but my lawyers protested
and said it is important we have the media.
On their insistence, the panel accepted that
journalists would be allowed in provided there is
no camera.”
During yesterday’s sitting the state Commissioner
for Lands Dr. Chukwuemeka Ujam, the Clerk of
the Assembly, Christopher Chukwurah, and the
Enugu Government House physician, Dr. Anthony
Ogbonna, testified on the side of the House of
Assembly and were cross-examined except for
the physician whose cross-examination will come
up when the panel reconvenes today.

ASUU Strike is an annual festival done in
Nigerian Universities whereby students are
not allowed to go to school during the
festival. The date of the event is always fixed
by the lecturers of Nigerian state
and federal universities.
The event is remarkable in that everyone is a
spectator.
Highlight of the festival is the wrestling match
between federal executive council and the
leaders of the lecturers. There is no referee to
officiate the wrestling match, as such the
wrestling comes to an end when both
contestants
are tired.
The duration of the festival is indefinite
depending on the strength of the wrestlers.
If you are wondering were to
spend your vacation then Nigeria should be
your destination because the festival is at its
peak.
