definitely you witnessed the burial of the corpse there. The person that purchased the property with the corpse inside isn't an ordinary person too. Some people evacuated corpses to other places in order to sell their properties to the Interested buyers. But not that rampant.

I never witnessed it. Some of his relatives recently came to the neighborhood asking for the place they buried their brother about 25 years ago. They have forgotten the place. (They knew they did not complete purchase payment of the land so they quickly buried the dead there and the landlord at that time wasn’t buying that. He sold the entire land including the corpse to another person. And another person sold it to another person. Yet another person sold it to another person who later sold it to the final person). Those that know the transfer and transaction history never told all the purchasers the situation and none was ready to tell the deceased relatives asking for inquiries the location as it could cause legal issues.

It is still there. He was the initial purchaser of the land. Only few people knew. The current resident did not know and none was ready to tell him.
