Politics / Senator Dino Melaye Is Another MMM Politician - Audu Gambo by Ariyatech(m): 2:35pm On Jun 07, 2019
How could a rational Man believe in "Senator Dino Melaye" of Kogi State to right the wrong or ameliorate the plights of many Kogites? We all agreed that the existing order is purely diabolic and capitalistic in nature, but that doesn't mean we should be traveling from Lagos to Village in searching for a job to do.

Substituting "Bello" with "Dino" is like replacing the hitherto order with another version of it, in fact "Bello" is better than "Dino Melaye". Kogites, Dino melaye is another MMM Political Actor whose worldly life is characterized by luxury and extravagant. His garage tells well who he was and what he stands for in his political foray.

Politics / Kogi: No Longer At Ease As Hunger, Poverty And Disease Romance The Land by Ariyatech(m): 1:43pm On Jun 05, 2019
Gov. Yahaya Bello (GYB) enjoying the braking of the ramadan fast with few political sycophants at government house and as of this sallah seasons his busy having nice time with his family eating the best food of their lifes , while the situation of the majority of the people in the state is worse than a street begger poverty, hunger and disease has become the order of the day.

Despite the fact that kogi state is not undergoing any form of war or internal crises, the state especially in the rural; areas can be best describe as an internally displaced camp.

From okene axis down to okun axis, to ankpa, idah, ayingba, lokoja, ajaokuta and so on the story is still the same hunger poverty everywhere. People have been turned into Internally displaced people begging for unavailable food.If situation continues like this kogi state will witness full blown humanitarian crises in no distant future.

Politics / Kogi Must Be Great Again All We Want Is Good Governance by Ariyatech(m): 11:30am On Jun 04, 2019
When I look at the politics played in kogi today, I weep for the masses. Impersonal bias, prejudice are the undertone of Kogi politics. The rich keep getting richer while the poor getting poorer. Party sentiments have eaten deep into the system of every individuals to the extent that, we have forgotten the nature of development in our dear state.

Youths are the leaders of tomorrow but when they are old(not all but minority of the few). We keep fighting and killing ourselves over people who neither take the masses interests to be a paramount priority nor care about our well-being, people whose aim for attaining power is for self aggrandizement. the PDP, this parties constitutes the good personality of people who revolve round to solved our plight, unlike this APC parties who is brass on selfish interest and they remain political demagogues.

Religion / Nigerian Pastors And Their Private Jet Mentality - Alexander Eboh by Ariyatech(m): 9:36am On Jun 04, 2019
Acquiring private jet is different from acquiring a car. When you buy a car, you can either drive it yourself or hire an experienced driver that doesn't cost you much, you can either maintain it at a company mechanic or private mechanic, you can purchase a direct insurance or a third party insurance, and finally you park your private car in your compound or car parks.

This is not the same with Jet. Purchasing a jet is like opening a spending account, you need an expert and certified pilot to fly the jet. Pilots are not paid peanuts. Nigerian owners of private jets go for foreign pilots. To pay pilots in dollars cause the church millions of naira a year. The jet must be certified air worthy meaning regular maintenance by the company that produces the jet ( cost tens of thousands dollars or millions of naira to keep jets air worthy).

Crack And Disquite In Kogi PDP OVER Governorship Tickets As 77 Aspirants Disagree Over Imposition

There are indications that incontrovertible dissention has hits Kogi State Chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP). The scramble for the governorship ticket of the party in the forthcoming election in the state has cracked the state chapters of the party apart.

In a meeting recently held to reach an agreement for a preferable candidate in the forthcoming election in the state showed that there was attempt to impose a candidate against the wishes of the party members, which was the main cause of the disagreements.
It was, however, learnt that many members of the party have rejected the move and vow to fight against the hideous and inimical plan to a logical conclusion.

In the process of decision-making to seek for widespread agreement amongst the party members and the 77 aspirants jostling for the highest governmental position of the state, sparked up disagreement which erupted like a volcano, when they all observed that Abubakar Idris the son of the former governor of Kogi state candidacy was gaining more recognition and favour from the chieftains of the party. They disagreed vehemently over his choice to fly the party flag in the state.

Education / Kogi State Governments To Take Over KSU Over Failed Security Challenges by Ariyatech(m): 8:34pm On Jun 01, 2019
An interview with comrade Ajibodi Muniru, the national director of action and mobilisation of National association of Nigerian students (NANS) national.

Says this is a pathetic and very emotional issue. It is no longer news but a syndrome and a barrier. In an academic community where security is porous and not guaranteed, I don't think students will go about their primary assignment. Imagine student attending lectures and writing examination with the anxiety of what awaits him/her. At the level of unions, I want to condemn or abuse that the student union of Kogi state university is not living up to its expectation.

The vote student casted for them that elected them to various position has been taken for granted, you don't expect the school management to take on security issues upon their selves, the SUG should be the pushing force behind security issues but since they have failed in their responsibility, I think it is the responsibility of the National association of Nigerian students (NANS) governing the entire students in the country and as the director of action and mobilization, I'm not saying I ll mobilise student against the school management but I'm crying out to government parastatal and school management to equip the school security unit.

I woke up this morning to the sad news of a graduate of sociology who just finished his defense that was killed. There's no adequate man power in kogi state university, we are appealing to the star government to increase the availability of man power in the university, it is not bad to have a police post inside the campus, but the problem is that the security organisation extort student in one way or the other, they should curb criminality and stop the harassment of students. Its true that we have dress code in our institution, I won't support indecent dressing inside the campus but you don't accuse a student of being a cultist for putting on a timberland shoe; that is defamation of character. I want to appeal to government at all level to stand up to this fight against criminality within and outside the university community.

Religion / Reverend Father Attacked By IPOB In Imo State by Ariyatech(m): 11:23pm On May 31, 2019
A Facebook user has come out on social media to call on the attention of Christian associations of Nigerians (CAN), for their non challant attitudes over the Reverend Father who was attacked yesterday at IBETO Junction, NNEWI of ANAMBRA state.

According to a reliable source, IPOB members attacked a REV. Fr. Yesterday at IBETO Junction because he didn't obey the "Sit at home instruction" made by Nnamdi Kanu. He is currently receiving treatment at Nnewi Teaching Hospital due to the heavily sustained injuries during the attack.

Of course we would have protested against this wickedness if it happened in places like Jos, Sokoto, Bauchi, Ibadan, Abieokuta etc. But it happened right here in the East, so no one cares because the Rev. Fr. Actually deserved the beating and assault for not obeying a law posed by bunch of street hookers and ignorant touts.

Literature / Story: The Testament - Prologue by Ariyatech(m): 11:53pm On May 30, 2019
The Testament - Prologue

Let me take you back to the day you first met your spouse, the day his/her smile or laugh was utterly breathtaking, that the thought of you seeing them again left a twinkle little star in each one of your eyes, and when you finally see them again a sudden glow in your eyes appears, you feel an enormous tingling in your heart, cause at the end of the day that person you looking at is your pride and joy, your better halve, you had those cute little fights that led up to make up sex or a simple "I'm sorry", those were the fun moments, but time changes and the relationship matures.

https://nairateamblog..com/2019/05/the-testament-episode-1.html

It is normal for a relationship to loose its spark, but it's up to the both of you to work on regaining it all over again, it is not feasible to blame one another for not loving the other just because you he/she doesn't do the same things they used to do and that reflects negatively on the sex life, which automatically leads to one of you cheating or giving in to external temptations, having the strength and resilience to fight for the relationships survival pays off, remind your lover of that person they fell in love with, take him/her down memory lain, show them you're in it for the long run, that you're not quitting nor allowing them to quit, see a little bit of effort pays off in the long run, but an effortless relationship is... Well that you can figure out.

It is a miracle for a young couple to grow old together, because they are all trying to stay in the ""honeymoon phase", they program themselves that it will always be bliss and glamorous, well I have news for you, fairytales don't just happen. Prince charming becomes king and the princess becomes queen, and the expectations change, so you better realize that before reality hits hard, and there's nothing like a scarred heart to show it.

With patience comes great rewards after a wait, and yes a relationship dies because of a lack of communication and effort, the foundation is communication and without this the foundation called love is gonna collapse.

There's still going to be continual fights, disagreements, and even threats to break off the relationship, but that's just God's way of testing the strength of your love but still there is no use watering a dead flower, staying with a partner who has given up is not healthy at all, staying with the devil you know might be keeping you from the angel you don't, and that next relationship might be heavenly instead of the hell that is now, it comes down to individualism when it comes to your happiness

Remember giving up on love is like giving up on life itself, but enough said let me get on the real issue at hand, a story or rather "journey" of four people, a couple which has been together for six year and total strangers linked to the couple, I know what's probably on your mind right now, you already can see the strangers being a couple at the end of the book, well this is not your ordinary love story.

This is about total strangers who never believed in destiny or people born to be together from birth, and at this moment you are like I know this kind of story too, sit tight and fasten your seatbelt because your mind and heart will be dazzled by my artistry...

Crime / Thieves Invade Kogi State University Female Hostel, Cut Student Breast by Ariyatech(m): 10:23am On May 27, 2019
THE DILEMMA OF KSU STUDENTS OVERNIGHT.

About a week ago, a room in FH hostel was robbed and one of the occupants sustained an injury on the head with a cutlass from the suspected arm robber who was not apprehended. Recently it was said that a criminal who tried to rob one of the flat at MH was apprehended and handed over to the security unit of the school management, some hours later the suspect was released by the same security unit who claimed that the suspect was about to die, so they had no option than to release the suspect so as to avoid the death of such. More recently in one of the major Boys hostel (Dangana hostel) there was a major fight between two rival cults, which almost led to the death of two students who were also rumored to be cultists, later that evening the school security unit came to take cognizance and get details of the event but they were met by angry students who blamed them for their slow response toward matters of insecurity, by this, an unknown student threw a stone which broke the wind shield of the school security van thereby leading to another rancor in front of the hostel. The most recent event was that of yester night which led to the dismembering of a female student breast.

From the information gathered thus far, it was said that cultists stormed the female hostel (Inikpi hostel) for a robbery attack which was meet with resistance by some of the female occupants which the above victim was part of.

The security and social amenities (water and electricity) in KSU has witnessed a major backdrop and presently is at a state of miasma. As a 400level student I can vividly remember in my 100level days that electricity in the school environment was been rationalized as thus: in the evening during week days there would be electricity from 6pm-9pm in the hostel where as in class it will be from 6pm-11pm, during weekends there would be electricity from 11am-1pm. The water situation then was at a favorable state compared to now water was been given on a larger scale majorly in the morning and any time of the day.

Presently, the reverse has been the case, it can be concluded that the school has witnessed a better yesterday and a worst today because of the situational development, for instance the hostel no longer have electricity at night with exemption of the classrooms which has been rationalized from 6:30-9pm.

Secondly even with electricity in classrooms student are not been allowed to read beyond 8pm by the school security personnel who in most cases threaten to harass students if they don't comply to this order. Students have also been harassed by the school security using the excuse of trying to maintain a secured atmosphere within the school premises.

https://www.ariyatech.com.ng/2019/05/the-dilemma-of-ksu-students-overnight.html

Thirdly the supply of water has dwindled, water is been supply once in a day (morning) which is not enough to quench the desire of the students. In all these matters students can't protest because the school management has issue a warning that any form of protest will lead to the expulsions of the student(s) involved in such protest. The SUG which is supposed to be the advocate of the students is in a state of dilemma because of their greed for material gains from authorities who uses such needs to buy them out.

Conclusively there is no law, no order, no security, no peace, no recent developments instead the institution has witnessed an upsurge in the breakdown of law and order, insecurity, harassment of students, victimization of the said students and also a dilapidating water and electricity sector coupled with bad transportation and bad road .

Politics / 7 Facts To Know About Kogi Koya Movement by Ariyatech(m): 11:00pm On May 22, 2019
As a keen observer of good governance, I would like us to know that no government can perform 100% without having the full support of the people at the grassroots. Knowing fully well that no government can be island of knowledge in a state where we need ourselves to build a great nation.

Based on the ongoing political downturns in Kogi, I would like to draw our attention to why we must embrace the "Kogi Koya" movement led by Senator Dino Melaye. Here are the benefits you would derived from joining the movement

7 facts to know about Kogi Koya movement

1. The movement gives room to a government of the people, by the people and for the people. A true definition of DEMOCRACY.

2. It allows all inclusive government where everyone can participate in decision making particularly in the best interest of our DEAR STATE- KOGI.

Politics / Nigerian Government To Shut Down Enugu International Airport by Ariyatech(m): 2:15pm On May 18, 2019
So, I have seen and read the reason given by the minister of state for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika on why the Enugu International Airport should be downgraded or completely shut down and they sound plausible enough. But I have very troubling concerns.

The minister claimed that he told the Enugu State governor what to do a long time ago and he failed to do anything and now things have deteriorated badly.

Okay. I remember about two years ago when I visited home and went through that airport. I was so angry at the deplorable state of the airport that I began taking pictures. Afterwards, I wrote an article with those pictures and had it published on Vanguard Newspaper. About an hour after it was published online, it was pulled down. I inquired of the Vanguard editor and he claimed they were ordered by the powers from above to pull the article. I knew where that came from.

Much later in time, people from Ugwuanyi’s government started sending me messages, telling me that it wasn’t the governor’s responsibility - that it was that of the Federal Government, because of Course, Aviation is one of the 65-68 items on the Exclusive List in the fraudulent Nigerian Constitution.

So my question is, why is the minister telling Ugwuanyi what to do and why is Ugwuanyi failing to take responsibility, assuming there was some type of arrangement between States and FG to take care of projects like that?

https://www.ariyatech.com.ng/2019/05/nigerian-government-to-shut-down-enugu.html

Nearly every airport in the North has been upgraded to International status with no incident! Not one in the entire Eastern Region (South East/South South) is fit for even local operations, let alone international. International Airlines have been taxed out of the Eastern routes, especially Enugu, leaving only Ethiopian Airlines with the burden of integrity to continue still. Now they're about to be kicked out in the guise of so called "upgrade." Question is: after the upgrade, will international airlines be allowed to use the airport? You already know the answer to that.

Recently, the Nigerian government launched some type of partnership with the Chinese government to build a dry port in Ibadan to enable ease the pressure on Lagos seaports. About 75-80% of these port users are from the Eastern Region. Many of them who haven't been forced to relocate their businesses to Lagos still operate from the East.

Politics / Ariyo Aina’s Murder: We Will Bring Perpetrators To Book - Kogi Governor by Ariyatech(m): 1:54pm On May 18, 2019
The Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello has sued for calm over the killing of Mr. Ariyo Aina in Ogga, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State in the early hours of today, saying the perpetrators of the dastardly act will not only be brought to book, “but also that government will stop on its track, this ugly trend”.

The Governor stated this in a message through his Director General of Media and Publicity, Mr Kingsley Fanwo.

He said the lives of Kogites are very important to him, hence the heavy investment he made to ensure adequate security for all inhabitants of Kogi State, insisting that those who disturb the peace of the State will be brought to justice.

Education / Winter Is Coming In OAU As Cultist Write To Kill 7 by Ariyatech(m): 11:20am On May 15, 2019
Alarm bells ringing as OAU goes under siege of Cultists threat!

Cultists of the Aloha clan have written an open letter to Africa's most beautiful campus, promising to visit on June 1 to rain bullets of death, sorrow and grief on innocent students. Till now, I'm not sure the school is doing anything about this threat, it's not being talked about in the media and security agencies are not looking into the matter or reassuring students of safety.

This is the backstory.

In-form Zanku star, Zlatan Ibile was recently on the campus to perform, and Ife being a small city, it was the talk of the town.

According to reports from students, and as shown in the open letter sent to the school, Zlatan is believed to be a member of a cult group. This prompted other student members of the group from a neighbouring school, OUI to also attend the event - to support their son who was in town.

We’re proud in the first place to confide in us everything trustworthy. We love everything about our men, except their money and other materials.”

He turns sharply to look her in the eyes as she speaks with pride.

“Yes, that is women. We care much about our hearts than our desires, hence, we neither fall for strangers nor aliens ”

“Are you serious? Do you intend to speaking nothing other than the truth?”

“Yes. Truth is only one except by chance.”

Alright, go ahead please,” he said curiously.

“We women, the love oriented creatures,” she continues amidst her smiles. We love unconditionally with hearts. Either our love is returned or not, we’re are not naive to let out tears. We’re very strong, but sometimes, we cry, after holding on for too long. No man on earth will marry a poor worthless woman, but ladies will do vice versa.”

“Hello, it’s enough. I’m very satisfied with your truthful fallacies,” he crosses her.

“Don’t be dear,” she advised. “You need to hear this,” she added.
