Bro, looking at the signal strength I think for C band even with 1.8m you should be comfortable. For KU I feel for the beam covering your area you should do with (65?) or 90cm.

d software open all old dstv cards not minding d version (provided it is NOT married) and has a VALID subscription status. It also comes with d patch option . Enjoy.

The software is very effective it works with my Iredeto dstv card and it also indicate channels format being watched i.e mpeg2 or mpeg4 channels.

@oga sammu,i did as u suggest,moved d ku lnbf closer to d primed c-band,change d foil,repaint wit oil based paint(white,i couldn't get silver here in Shaki) & voila d nilesat signals improved tremenduosly.got 11938v tp to 75% in the blazing sun & 80% @ night. I now have albania,eurobird,hotbird,sky uk(astra 2b), hispasat & a host of others on my set up.Still can't get through d excitement.
NB:I use focus ku lnbf(dis replaces strong ku lnbf:kudos to Oga George) for d experiment.i am still waiting to try and see what i will get with stargold 4ways,i hear it perform wonders on fibre esp.during raining season
