2buff: I dunno about Naija, but in the US, you'll hardly find a soldier in domestic abuse case.
They are often too happy to see their family to start getting physical with them. He knows that THEY are the ones he goes out in the field to get shot for, and he proves that he would DIE for her everyday at work.
It's not easy being a soldier's wife due to the long away-times and the constant uncertainty. But if you're not built for that, just don't start it ladies. It's not just about "I love a man in uniform" and other toto-based feelings. There are serious responsibilities for being with a man in uniform. YOU are that man's anchor to humanity when all around him is death and inhumanity. YOU are the reason he keeps on crawling with a bullet lodged in his leg. The moment you start cheating on him and he finds out. . .
