I am a Graduate Mech Engr also i want to advise you not to limit yourself to working in the oil and gas industry alone because it is highly competitive consider options in Manufacturing/fast moving consumer goods/Power Plant industry also as regards the training you can Google AETI,Gil Automation and for Piping/Subsea and facilities engineering Check hommaston but theit training is expensive say about 250k to 500k.

For which position is that because I applied as Technical Field Engineer last month.

But i cant earn less than that during the training & probation period which is about one year 4 months.

I took part in the first stage test & i passed was invited for the 2nd stage in Ibadan brewery last sat but I disnt go because I am on a salary of 90k assuming the training was in lagos i can give it a trial relocating to ibadan would cost me a lot as in missing plenty opportunities in lagos.

I wrote mine in Lagos Brew Last week friday their pay is not up to what you said still contemplating whether i shld go or not.

I wrote the test on August 21 prepare yourself for Numerical & Verbal Reasoning,Questions on Basic Physics all you need is speed & accuracy the test is for one hour when are you writing yours.

You need to motivate yourself & ensure you complete the outstanding courses i spent 7 years studying a four years course in unilag although mine was because i was doing hnd in yabatech,after my first extra year i told myself i cannot continue like this i got a job & went for service with my hnd that same year my cgpa was just dropping every semester,i still managed to graduate with a third class.
