Since yesterday, Monday 20th of March 2017, all filling stations across Ado-Ekiti has been shut down. According to rumours, the state government increased their annual tax by 100%. In response to protest the said increase in tax, filling stations are not selling their products. Fare has increased and there are few vehicular movement across the state capital.
