MaryAye: I've been through this before. I used drugs but it'd not work well. Palm wine was recommended. Immediately I took the palmwine, within minutes the pains and itches stopped. Next day everything dried up and I was able to bath. I recommend palm with my full chest for immediate relief. Give him palm wine and thank me later 1 Like |
Sports / Arsenal Fans Celebrating Victory Against Man Utd Arrested by arsenic33(m): 8:33pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
Ugandan police on Monday arrested at least eight Arsenal fans celebrating the club’s win over their Premier League rivals, Manchester United. The fans who wore the club’s red jersey and displayed a symbolic trophy were arrested in the Ugandan city of Jinja, according to BBC. Police said they did not have a permit to hold the march which was against public order. The Arsenal fans were travelling in a convoy of five vehicles on Monday morning when they were stopped by police. BBC said one of them was carrying a trophy they had bought at a local store. “I don’t know what we have done but we were simply celebrating our victory over rivals Manchester United,” Arsenal fan Baker Kasule said. James Mubi, the regional police boss and a self-declared Arsenal fan, said had not reviewed the fans’ charges but wondered why they were celebrating when only half of the matches in the season had been played. “What would happen if an altercation with rival fans broke out? They did not inform the police to provide security for their procession,” Mubi said. Rights groups say the Public Order Management Act has given police discretionary powers that have been used to stifle citizens’ rights. According to a lawyer and rights activist, Agather Atuhaire, the police continue “to be high-handed even after the Constitutional Court nullified all the draconian provisions that gave them unfettered powers to restrict the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of association and assembly.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/01/ugandan-authorities-arrest-arsenal-fans-celebrating-victory-against-man-utd/

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Vs Manchester City (2 - 1) On 14th January 2023 by arsenic33(m): 12:24pm On Jan 14, 2023 |
I tip Man U to beat or draw Man City. My reason. I watched chelsea vs Man City. Chelsea played them wella especially 1st half. Chelsea was unfortunate not to get good attack to get the goals. I believe Man U have the attack to defeat City. City often play full attack leaving the back open. A good attack will capitalize on that and score goals. My opinion though. But it's football. Things change. Unimaginable things and score happens. May the best team win 1 Like |

According to a news published by Premium Times with Pix of the "acclaimed thug" on the 6th of May, 2021, the above news circulating social media, even here on nairaland is not true. According to Premium Times: A man was lynched on Wednesday and his alleged accomplice arrested in Yamadawa Quarter in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State for allegedly attempting to snatch a car. Witnesses said the men attempted to snatch the car from a resident but drew the attention of other residents who immediately cordoned off the area and caught the suspects. The suspected robbers had allegedly made their move while residents were breaking their Ramadan fast Wednesday evening. But their move still drew the notice of some residents who raised an alarm. The police spokesperson in Kano, Abdullahi Kiyawa, told reporters that the police moved to the scene following a distress call that armed robbers attacked a resident and attempted to snatch his Toyota Corolla car. He identified the suspects as Abdullahi Isma’il, 24, of Sani Mainagge Quarters, in Kano metropolis and Abubakar Hussain, 24, of Kankara LGA, Katsina State. “A pistol and a knife were recovered from them.
