He's the Tupac of this generation without the voice.

Even the OG's always acknowledge and give him his respect.

As for the super bowl show, people are always gonna talk but regardless that doesn't change the fact that he's one of the most phenomenal artist of his generation.

I love every artist cuz they come with their own unique style and swag but I'm smart enough to know who tops the list when we get down to business.

Nas is ahead of most artists of the last 100 years... And is greatest lyricist of all time.

The conscious rap that Kendrick Lamar has been doing has already been done by Nas on his 'nighger' album decades ago.

Kendrick is in an era where u have other rappers who sing songs with no substance like kodak black, young thug, etc...

He hasn't had a rap song as technical as apostle warning(prodigy) or take it in blood (Nas), as poetic as the cure( Nas) or as lesson filled as stay chiseled ( Nas), etc.

Nas is among my top 3 and I still place him over kendrick generally and you have to understand that in the same rap nas is a bit different in the sense that it's more like mc type of rap which az,biggy n jayz belongs to but what kendrick is during is totally different, that shit is poetic one of the most difficult genre hence most people don't vibe to it, only tupac was on that level and that's why he is so respected in the game so is kendrick even the rap legends you mentioned pays tribute to that guy for a reason. K.dot was crowned King of the west coast by all the OG's in West Coast years back when most people don't even know him and you think is just coincidence.
