Story of My journey......
After my admission with Flinders, i never knew GTE was a tug of war...
i hurriedly went and pay my tuition fee immediately i got my offer instead of paying my school fee when i have scale through with my GTE assessment. Brethren Flinders showed me pepper in my GTE assessment , too much requirements and proves... at a time i got angry and i called the school directly and requested they should refund me my money, am no more interested in coming to Australia or even their School , at that time their eye open and they wrote to me i should reconsider that they are willing to give me my COE . The COE was finally issued to me.

School resumption date 23 July 2018
Visa Apllication date: 11 June 2018
Medicals : 14th June 2018
Biometrics: 14th June 2018
CO demanded for my OSHC certificate 0n 14th July 2018
I called the school directly and my OSHC cerficate was issued to me on 17th July 2018 and sharply it was forwarded to CO.
Visa grant: 18th July 2018.

The journey was not easy but God took charge of everything.......

Yes am using an agent, but i paid the OSHC together with my tuition fee directly to the school. No OSHC certificate issued to me but the school indicated that i have paid for my OSHC in my COE

I submitted my visa application on 14th June 2018, yesterday CO asked me to provide my OSHC document stating the cover period... whereas i paid my OSHC together with my tuition fee , my school (Flinders) only gave me COE which also stated that i have paid my OSHC and they indicated the cover date in my COE. Please is there any Flinders in the house, who has already gotten his/her grant ...how did you manage this situation .. The CO gave me 7days to provide the OSHC certificate .

Yes. You can do both the same day.
Book for your medicals but then, you have to be very early atleat to be the first person to be attended to. The medical fee for fatayi clinic is 46k excluding polio vaccine that goes for 3k.
As for the biometrics, once you are done with medicals, dash down to mobolaji road Anthony Ikeja, you will see Etiebete building. March on straight to the security and tell them you are for Australia. You will be given passage immediately. The biometrics fee is 7500. Enjoy yourself.

Position Title: Diving Operations Company Site Representative / Authorized Person.


Purpose
1. To direct and monitor diving contractors on site carrying out and underwater I.M.R. operations activities, ensuring that they are carried out to the agreed scope of work in order to maintain the technical integrity of the Company Assets
2. To monitor the contractors’ offshore diving operations / maintenance intervention activities to ensure the technical integrity of the assets. They are to ensure compliance to Shell, National and other diving regulations and contractual requirements.
3. Implement Shell emergency and contingency plans for Vessel / Diving or General Offshore emergencies.
4. To ensure that contractors Hazards & Effects Management Planning (HEMP) is in place, and all the risks associated with the work scope / practices are identified and managed.
5. Ensure that personnel arriving onboard have all required documentation and are given a full safety briefing by the Chief Officer (Vessel Safety Officer).
6. Ensure that contractors diving equipment, personnel and procedures comply with contractual requirements, diving operations are well planned and documented, and Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures used on board are in line with Shell policies.
7. Monitoring of contractors diving operations in order to achieve the highest professional and safety standards.
8. To report the monthly diving statistics to the diving SME and/or diving technical authority.
9. To produce a work reports and close-out report describing lessons learnt and possible methods of improvement.
Accountabilities:
Manage all the risks associated with the diving operations at site:
• Verifying that diving contractors carry out the diving operation in accordance with the Diving SME approved diving project plan (DPP)
• Confirming through the Shell Permit to Work system and other complimentary permits that the diving contractor is aware of concurrent operations, which may affect the diving operation.
• Checking that the emergency response plan includes arrangements to:
 Recover divers;
 Evacuate diving vessels; and
 Evacuate diving vessels during saturation diving.
• Acts as Shell eyes and ears during the offshore phase of a project.
• Monitor what is going on at the site from the point of view of compliance, safety and efficiency.
• Must fully comprehend the task that is to be undertaken, the methodology to be used and be thoroughly conversant with the relevant rules, regulations and industry best practices.

The coverage is working with a Diving Support Vessel and Diving team (40-45 personnel) in Shell Nigeria Offshore locations which includes the Offshore crude loading systems at Forcados Terminal, Bonny Oil & Gas Terminal, Bonga FPSO, Sea Eagle FPSO and Pipeline facilities.

Competence Requirements:
1. Skill/Knowledge level competency in vessel based diving operations.
2. Qualified air diving supervisor (commensurate with the scope of work) or has acted as air diving supervisor.
3. Dynamic positioning (DP) Vessels operations
4. Experience on diving support vessels (DSV)
5. Experience in inspection in inspection activities
6. Ability to proof read intervention work scopes
7. Capability of handling small craft and a sound appreciation of vessel handling skills.
8. At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory (CDSR) or management position.

3. Skilled in International Code of Practice for Offshore Diving (ICOP)

- General software Installation, updating, Configuration and Upgrading operating System software, Hardware etc.
- Help desk and end user support.
- Monitoring efficient and effective use of official email service via control panel.
- Payment and Renewal of Internet Service.
- Any other duties that may be related to your duties.

JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Good Knowledge of Server Management
- Minimum educational qualification of B.Sc/ HND in computer science or related discipline
- Proficient in troubleshooting issues relating to hardware and software
- Experience with LAN & WAN
- I.T Certification will be an added advantage
