Big blow to Obaseki:

Mr Patrick Iyoha, Director, Obaseki/Shaibu
Movement and a member of the state Waste
Management Board, has resigned his appointment.
Iyoha in a letter dated July 28, addressed to Gov.
Godwin Obaseki, said that his resignation was with
immediate effect.
He said he was leaving for personal reasons.
Also, two members of the State Post Primary
Education Board have also resigned.
They are the chairman of the board, Mr Gabriel
Oiboh, Chairman and a member Mr Osanyemwere
Osawe.
They also sent their resignations letters on Tuesday.
According to them, they left because they could not
bow to pressure to defect to the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
On Monday, three commissioners of the Edo State
Oil and Gas Producing Area Development
Commission reigned their appointments.
The commissioners - Osamwonyi Atu, Emmanuel
Odigie and Rilwanu Oshiomhole - represented Edo
South, Edo Central and Edo North senatorial districts.
Several state commissioners have also resigned.

it's not new that election time in Edo is September of this year and a lot of activities cos going on now in both leading party in Nigeria. Edo youth has come out once again to voice their mind out by supporting the incumbent Governor in retaining his seat in the state for the upcoming election that would hold by September 2020. In their statement posted online through one Facebook handle named "I stand with PDP" they said come 19th September,we shall demobilize and tame oshomole,disgrace his godson and bury APC in Edo soil. some supported the claim while some gave their thought bon the upcoming election. oshiomole back in Edo to fight by all means to win the election for Ize Iyiamu, even many people term the election as oshomole vs obaseki election. Nigeria's keep finger crossed to see to the end of their election war. The question is who is going to win between Oba and Osho!!!! |
