Do not add salt to beans while its in the process of cooking, because it makes the beans stay longer on fire. Add it after the beans is cooked.
Also, you can salt petre to the beans. We call it kanwe/(a) in Ghana. Your beans will cook faster.
You can also soak it in water for some hours before cooking it.

Kenkey and spaghetti with stew. A friend of mine used to eat this mixture back in jss.

Waakye ( rice and beans) with kontomire ( cocoyam leaves) stew.

Also, do not put your finger in whlile soaking the beans.

@ poster u r on point. young ladies of todae prefer 2 marry rich guys who would see to their wants. The institution of marriage is being disrespected . Its no surprise marriages crumble a lot these days because both parties enter with the wrong mentality.
