Your travel arrangement is up to you. Just make sure you can explain your trip at the POE. It could be good take copies of the return tickets of the mum and second kid, to demonstrate their itinerary if it is your first trip. I know of families that never fly together in same plane (fear of putting all eggs in one basket) and several families that the husband, wife and children travel separately.

For leaving Nigeria, if the children are minors, better to take a letter of consent (plus copy of passport biodata page) from the other parent. 9ja immigration fit torchlight you, check-in officer fit use that excuse sell your seat if the flight is overbooked. You may want to visit the airport or you airline office a week ahead, to know whether they have any specific requirements for minors not travelling with either parent.

Don't put yourself in a spot, just be confident when answering your questions & maintain eye contact with the interviewer, you should be fine.

In addition, buy your ticket directly from the airlines or trusted ticket agent not "come and travel agents o".
Don't fall for tickets are cheaper in the US. You may be caught in between a credit scam. I have seen two cases in one month.

Just know what visa category you intend, walk into any GTB branch and tell a staff you intend making a US visa payment (they would have the prices printed out)

VO: took her time facing the system and typed for about a minute. Meanwhile she denied two people before us, one woman with a kid and a single a guy on suit. where do you work she asked me.

VO: she has gone through my form on her system. Now asked how many cameras do you use.

VO: she typed for a while and packed our passports together and gave us a white paper. Pick your visa up in 3days.i ddn't even hear well. Like a dream.
Wife quickly rushed to change the diaper of my son in their convenience and me went to ease myself too.

It should be 3 working days, so you count out the weekends & public holiday, also you would be getting an email and a text (if I'm not mistaken).

Something I would like to add, when going for your interview, don't go "OVERKILL" with your dressing or appearance look directly at the interviewer, and be confident not forgetting body language.
If you feel uneasy, you can try putting your hands in your pocket or come up with something to keep you together.
And remember the question formats isn't cast in stone, meaning the interviewer might have been asking everyone before you the same questions doesn't mean you did be asked same, so listen carefully, relax & give your replies.
When I had mine, as much as I tried "escaping" from a particular window, I was sent there & I told myself "I'm here already, it can only get better" & by God's grace, I was issued.

No document is asked to be brought for the interview except the necessary (visa payment receipt, confirmation printout, appointment printout - hope I got the names correct) anything besides that is YOUR OWN EXTRA.

I would advise you compare prices on those platforms (wakanow & travelstart) with the airline direct (via there website) sometimes, you get it cheaper buy from the website

Until we realise that the so called church wedding aka white wedding is the western version of a traditional wedding, we will continue attributing it as "God's way", and I really don't blame most of us, history is just lost to us and we have become comfortable basing our "facts" on "if it as been said & done over time, it must be right or the right way to go".

God blesses individual accordingly not by our works but by grace, a church is only a structure, God resides in us all.

2. Traveling with my family but will like to visit my uncle in houston and Newyork while my family travel direct to chicago.
My trip - lagos - Newyork - Houston - Chicago -Lagos while my family - Lagos - Chicago - Lagos.

We will all come back together but not leaving together. I mentioned i have other relative in my ds160. Our visa was issued separately but chicago is our destination.

Dont want to stress my pocket if am taking the whole family on my tour cos we are still going to Florida. We intend 2 spend 21days as stated in our ds160.Hope we are good to go. Just want to be on the safe side

All thanks to Jehovah God and to everybody that has contributed something to this forum, we wanted to make sure of an agent but decided not to use again when I came across this forum, me and my husband's visa was approved this morning. Our interview time was 7:30am but we got there few minutes past six and were allowed in after their usual verification, we were interviewed past eight and by 8:20am at window 3 we were already through, the interview was not more than 3mins.

Husband: For vacation and to use the opportunity to celebrate our 9th year wedding anniversary.

I have been looking for an opportunity like this to express myself about this disgusting thing. The customs and immigration are the most culpable. Once they see that your BAT is not up to what you should travel with they will start by saying you cannot travel else you give them something and they still force you to part with it. In cases where you have more than $1000 on you and you are a first time traveller, you are simply subjected to all manners of harassment. On arrival they will remove the jacket on your passport and expect you to put something inside it for them. I plan to record them one day and straight up here their faces will show. Bunch of national disgrace specimens.
