Good morning all,

I just verified by bro NIN on the passport application portal but I noticed nothing was written on the Marital status part.

Do you think it's safe to go ahead with the application?

Kindly advise if you have experienced such and what you did
It doesn't matter bro, that means as at the time of registration, your bro was yet to get married and if he has, the registrant deliberately omitted the space coz it doesn't matter. The only details they needed are NAMES, DOB CORRELATING with your other docs

I paid with the bank USSD code bcus I don't have ATM card. Although it's showing paid, but I've been to the immigration office twice, they told my payment hasn't dropped. Is there anyone here with similar experience.
The more reason why we always advice ppl to pay via credit card. Paying via ussd may delay your transactions coz until the biller fund (Immigration)their account, they can't process your capturing. As it is now, you have to wait until they fund them before they can attend to u

Well, you're talking about the official price they shared online.

I asked a passport officer in Festac, and she was telling me it's 55k rather then 35k for Standard 5yr passport

The officer don add workmanship fee join. The official fee is what was given above.

It's so annoying and those men there were even doing like it's not their job 😕.
I think the reason is because of the new update from the website which gives room for more DIY and it doesn't favour them.

Tomorrow is my collection date at Alausa office. That was what was written on the collection receipt. Should I go or wait to get a confirmation message?
I will advice you to wait till next week Friday. But if u don't mind wasting your tfair, you can go there to check. You should have link up with one officer on the day of capturing in order to help you check if it has be printed before going for pick up.

tha trhank you for this insight please after submitting all documents online do i still need to print it out to take with me to the office for capturing or they will send a code to my registered number ?
You are to download every downloadable and print them. Those are the hard copies that will represent you inside the file before capturing. They will also scrutinize the documents both the printout and originals before attending to you.

I did this today…..

Update.
I got to their office here in Jos to capture after registering and paying the 2,600 online Dec 31st.

They asked why I did it online that I will still have to pay another processing fee of 15,000 naira for them to open file et other nonsense they were saying.

Please guyz, what is the way forward? I have no intent of paying extra money for something that is 2,600.

I tried calling NIS line, they picked, sounded off and referred me back to the Servicom office they tried to extort me 🤦🏽‍♂️

Help o
The 15k is extortion, i also paid 26k for mine on the 2nd of this month before the upgrade of the money to 35k and i went to their office for capturing last week foe capturing, i only bought #500 file and gave it some business center guys around to couple/arrange the file for me with just 1k before heading to the officers for submission. The officers in charge asked me how i got to know that they couple file and who helped me to do it, i told them someone did it for me outside before coming in. He felt somehow coz he doesn't know who that was. And he attended to me. You can bargain but u will definitely pay for it.

Ignorance is a disease. Be humble if u don't know something and u see someone trying to educate you. Nobody is an island of knowledge. That is the main immigration website where you see every information about them and when click on Apply button, it will redirect you to the page you shown above. a .gov.ng domain is a scam website to you. I did the screenshot 3 days ago for clarity, i went back now to check after seeing your screenshot n i discovered that the administration fee has been removed. Do well to make your findings before pointing fingers.

64 pages Is even 100k not 70k

Thanks for the information.

Please I need your input on this issue I'm having.

I started my online passport application in the month of November 2023. The price then was 25k. I've made payment.

I was immediately scheduled for capturing the next two days. I couldn't go because some of the required documents wasn't available at that time.

I've gotten all the documents ready except the guarantors form. From what I heard from people, the guarantors form is no longer required. But I visited immigration office in Enugu and they asked me to go get guarantors form, signed and stamped by the high court.

I've tried downloading the guarantors form from the immigration website but the page returns nothing each time I click on the link.

I've searched the internet to see if I can find the guarantors form and download but met with no success.

Please what advice can you give me?
I doubt if you can see the form online while searching coz the guarantor form comes with your names and other details boldly written on it. Does that mean you didn't download the form after payment? Or u only downloaded your receipt n left it unattended to. As regards what you need to do, you will still need to contact the cc lines and lay your complain to them or better still link up with agent or officer to help you on that but i doubt if it will be free. The reason why u cannot download the form again is because the site has been updated, so far you registered last year n made payment, you are to pass through the old way of processing the passport, it is only those who registered after the updating of the website that are not permitted to use guarantor or print guarantor forms.

Hi Guys,

I opted for DIY for renewal.
I paid online on the 10th of Dec 2023
Booked for appointment on the 12 of Dec 2023 and captured that same day.
Got my passport yesterday 12:Jan:2024 all in Ekiti state.
Does this mean you were given 12th January for collection on the slip given to you after capturing or it wasn't not yet done on the given date of collection?

If you earn 50k and are a family man, then you are only existing and not living.

Propagating generational poverty isn't something to be proud of.
Bro, i don't blame you. The fact that you are favoured to secure better job doesn't make u better than your fellow human. How could u be spitting this in a public space like this. I knew many graduates who don't even earn up to 30k and they are family person. Some didnt met any inheritance from anybody, no connection, they started everything afresh. Remember, we are not all born with silver spoon. Someone posted on the front page whether to quit his 30k job or continue, to let you know that this life no balance... Just thank God for your life and move on, stop castigating ppl because of what they are facing bro, no one knows tomorrow
