No they will not vanish but there trade and ablity to provide aid will. For all purpose they will not be there and will have no need to buy or sell any with with nigeria or Africa

Nigeria does not have a industry that matters. I know people like to talk about it but the Nigrian industry is in truth very small in evry region and catagory. Remember Nigeria populastion is masive yet it industry is smaller than south africa. This is not even me say south africa will survive as a intact country. No country in the world will. The world is to linked in global web of trade and services and WW3 would shatter that entier system.


WW3 wont have investors. the war will be fast and short. who will invest in nigeria and what would they invest with.


i dont have faith in the poltical leaders in south africa or nigeria to keep the counties together.

Sorry but africa and i mean every african counntry even south africa that so far south with a much more mature and advanced econmy will be effected heavily by a WW3 event. Some countries may endure it better than others but i dont think nigeria will be one of those. Here is why i think that.

Goverment budget
The nnigerian goverment budget is heavily realint on trade of crude oil. I am not talking econmy here but the budget the goverment uses to run the country. With a sudden loss of trade partners and market crash could cause the Nigerian goverment to collapse

The federal and tribal nature of Nigeria
Nigera breaking up does not even need to be a major collapse of the country. It could simply be easier to maintain control over smaller areas. So there could be a central goverment in power but it is in name only with each region being it's own thing. Aka a central goverment so weak it is pointless

Loss of critical trade. Nigeria industry is to small to sustain the country. Most cars in Nigeria for example are 2nd hand imports or cars assmbled in country. Nigeria actual Automotive industry being small and still importing a lot of parts. Even area that you think are ok are not with Nigeria still importing a lot of it's refined fuel

So yes i can very much see WW3 leading to a end of Nigeria as a country. Though this is all so depndent on the leader ship. A good leader could keep the country together but it is not a sure thing for any african country. Even South africa could collapse a lot of our industries are depndet on a market to trade with. Africa is all so poorly set up to trade with each other. at least over distance. South africa for example does not have a large oil supply but can refine oil but there no pipe lines from Angola or Nigeria to our refinery so it would have to be ship going back and forth and there no major African shipping company.

So yes ww3 will lead to a end of every african country as we under stand. Now African countries could reform and rebuild so Nigeria could collapse and then reform but to think nigeria would be ok if the world started a mjor world war is a pipe dream.

Being "left alone" during a world war is impossible, everyone will suffer direct or indirect consequences. I'll put up a simple scenario, a war starts in Europe, fertiliser goes through the roof affecting the ability to produce food, shortages will occur, and guess what will happen? Social unrests, blame them on the president and his ethnic group, separatists will take hold, internal wars begin..... and that's just one scenario, I haven't added in China, and the USA and the Middle East doing their separate things.

In a world war, I see a million ways even a country like Nigeria could tear itself apart.... and yes, external powers are keeping a lot of African countries together either via military assistance, trade or aid.

You'll be surprised, a world war is unscripted, a lot happens... European wars have a tendency of spilling over to Africa, especially down south... The Napoleonic Wars literally created the modern southern Africa, WW1 made South Africa invade and colonise Namibia for almost 80 years, that's even longer than Germany did.

You cannot negotiate for better deals while tearing apart... Islamists, separatists and tribalists would definitely seize the opportunity and without a foreign power to keep them in check, we'll be fighting to keep internal peace and resources would be sold by whatever militia is controlling them at that time.

Oh well, it didn't need to get to the cutting of aid, I mean there's a lot of negative consequences that could happen, including social instabilities, crashing of economies, population explosions, new internal conflicts starting because there's a sudden shortage of food, medicine and educational opportunities that came with the aid... This is literally what a bad-faith player like Russia could exploit.

Aid could secure some kind of stability for resource extraction for Europe especially if this world war goes fully hot, doing otherwise would give Russia and China an easy cheap buy from African countries tearing themselves apart.

Ain’t nobody in Africa outside of maybe Egypt & Sudan getting involved directly in WW3. Africans should be positioning themselves in the chaos to negotiate better deals within and outside of the continent and consuming superior political leverage as “EURASIAN” countries are tearing themselves apart.
