MiddleDimension: The US does not treat the UK, germany, Japan, South Korea, and The Philipines the way they treat Israel. So, yes, America dances to the tune of the State of Israel.
Well they do have a lot in common. There both colonial nations founded upon the violent conquest & genocide of another people’s land with deep rooted prejudices towards various minority groups. There practically brothers and family has to stick together after all especially when they share similar interests.
What is up with some of you simpletons and your unhinged obsession with correlating skyscraper height and count to development status? All of you doing this especially the colonial servants seriously need to drop this knuckle dragging caveman logic. 😂
4 Egyptian Banks (Although Afrexim Bank is only headquartered in Egypt but is not a traditional Egyptian Bank same as Arab African International Bank, so Egypt has only two traditional Banks in top 20)
3 Moroccan Banks
1 Togolese Bank (Although ECOBANK is only headquartered in Togo and is a West African Bank)
Just40: what is wrong is, Africa does not have the skin to make the kind of sacrifices Singapore made to get to where it is.
Speak for Ghana not the continent.
Like I said before the city state of Singapore and the continent of Africa are on such completely different situational spectrums comparing them is arbitrary those irrelevant.
There are no equivalent “sacrifices” the “continent” of Africa or individual countries could have made to match the “current” state of the “city state” of Singapore.
Luzebox: Honestly speaking... Can Africa ever be great...we are here fighting for which of the shithole countries is less shity... God... Have guys seen Singapore...what is really wrong
Non-Bant Africa sure
You Can partake in innocent banter without the need for Unkle Rukus.
The City State of Singapore and The Continent of Africa are on such completely different situational spectrums comparing them is arbitrary those irrelevant.
samorobo: That shiit is ugly as hell. That building and this nonsense belong to the sane whatsapp group . Also the day that hideousness sees the light of the day , pls let us know
Building is “ight” just kind of tacky. Would look better if every building on the surrounding block was similar designed.
bidexiii: The Nigerian Air Force is currently Engaging several OEM’s to reactive unserviceable platforms.
Negotiation process is ongoing for the overhaul and upgrade of 3 x L- 39ZA aircraft with Aero Vodochody of the Czech Republic and the option of additional 3 subsequently. Similarly, contract for the factory repairs of 4 x Agusta 109E helicopter engines has been awarded to Messrs Pratt & Whitney.
Source: @Jakepor21
The military budgeters need to stop playing around those L- 39ZAs, Chengdu J-7s, M-346s, and Alpha Jets need to be retired or limited to training platforms. We need at the very least a couple squadrons of JF-17 Thunders and Super Tucanos. The helicopter refurbishment is fine though.
AkoniMoipei: Away from the usual dixk measuring some food for thought.
What if the Bantu expansion had not occurred as it did, leading to the spread of Bantu people across much of Africa?
Africa would have been another Australia, another North America. Assuming the course of European history unravelled as we know it, the continent would have became another Atlanticist entity.
God made the African Bantu speakers and their West/Central African siblings a naturally strong, dominant race. They were resistant to the old-world plagues that European settlers introduced around the world. In fact, it is this natural tenacity that led to their tragic mass-enslavement throughout the Americas and Asia.
In contrast, people like the Hadza, the Khoi-Khoi or the San, who were in Africa before Bantus came to be, were bands of hunter-gatherers who would have been wiped out easily after colonization. They were no different to Australian or Tasmanian Aboriginals. Tasmanian Aboriginals are already wiped out due to European presence-not a single soul survived.
If you fail to imagine how this would have happened, just take a look into South Africa's history. Boers (Dutch colonialists), upon their arrival in the Cape of good hope, did not immediately start colonizing the Bantu-dominated east. Instead, they chose to steal land from the Khoi-Khoi- who were severely depopulated at the wake of an European smallpox epidemic.
The remaining Khoi tried to resist, but their social organization was irredeemably shattered due to contact with Europeans. They eventually became slaves to the Dutch on their own land i.e. were made to farm those lands.
Others served the Boers in various other ways. One among these was Sarah Bartman. Many Khoi-San mixed with the Europeans and created the “coloured" community. Meanwhile, others fled and assimilated into neighbouring Bantu tribes like Xhosa and Tswana. Few fled to Namibia to join their remaining brethren - only to be crushed by the Germans.
If you try to study the modern history of the Khoi, you may notice that what happened to them is basically the same thing that happened to American Indians in North and South America. I think the only difference between the two stories lies in the nitty-gritty details.
The descendants of Khoi herders in Western Cape are a severely endangered race today. Only certain thousands of pure-blood Khoi remain.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWjMr3RZ8Ss Colonel Markus Reisner analyses and explains the causes and consequences of the Ukrainian summer offensive which, according to Ukrainian officials, ultimately failed after more than 190 days. What was the initial situation, how should the Ukrainian attacks be assessed from a tactical and operational perspective and what strategic conclusions can be drawn?
SA struggling with 1 to 2% GDP growth due to unexpected dumsor (power crises) in the last 2 years. The hope they have is that their private sector is investing hard in the power sector.
Egypt still stuck building their new city of 30 Billion dollars that looks like a never ending project draining resources, high inflation and devaluation of Egyptian pounds with the craziest debt burden in Africa despite support they get from the likes of UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia.
Nigeria: Naira devaluation and Inflation.
That GDP of Africa may most likely reduce in 2024 except something is done or other countries grow tremendously. Ethiopia has that potential but most likely not in 2024. Ruto's tax mobilization and reforms in Kenya still on and his focus now would be to successfully pay off that Eurobond in June.
So there are problems everywhere I look in Africa.
Botswana and Namibia are shining lights but too small to have any meaningful effect to Africa's GDP.
So we look towards countries like Morocco, Ivorycoast and a much relieved Ghana (from difficult 2022).
I don't know if I can say it's getting better for Africa. 2007 to 2019 was good period for Africa in terms of economic growth. Since 2021, it's been one struggle or the other across.
Since 2021 it’s been a struggle or decline for every region on Earth.

The 31st December Revolution and JJ’s legacy lives on.

SUFFERInSMILIIN: It is extremely interesting you waste your time on somebody much better than yourself instead of fixing your Nation's problem tell what ever story you want
Still the biggest sweaty loser around I see. Never change your pathetic sad existence is always hilarious. 😆 You’re like a living bottom of the barrel example for others dealing with issues; no matter how hard life gets you’ll never be as big a mentally disabled pathetic a loser as “SUFFERInSMILIIN“ .
My Livilyhoods going good by the way; sadly it doesn’t seem like I can say the same for your miserable existence.😂
You never answered my question about your numerous sex & ethnicity changes by the way.
When did you get your sex change? Since you went from Male to Female then back to male. I heard Brazil has some of the best sex modification surgeons in the world is that why you moved there? What about your ethnicity change since you went from Igbo Nigerian to Zimbabwean to Kenyan to Ghanaian then landing on Yoruba Nigerian?
Do you have identity issues?
I believe it’s called Depersonalization-derealization disorder.
You still refuse to see a therapist I see all these years later wasting away on Nairaland.

the story about niger republics uranium should be a warning to all of us in africa....
Let’s just hope that Uranium becomes Nigerien Uranium with the money actually feeding the eco and not just somebody else foreign’s Uranium. Africans are notorious for swapping exploiters with a different exploiter foreign or local.

Shma2022: Lying requires a bit of intelligence. This list was compiled in 2021 by a Ghanian who hates Nigeria - don't play with us. I've gone through WB 2023 report, and there is nothing of the sort.
Typical unhinged fools from the backwater oversized village known as ghana.
