Nigeria is full of hidden gems. There not super well known becuase Nigerians don't feel the absolute need to bank on them right now I guess like environmental tourism.
Abohboy: Nigeria won’t be reaching 1 billion in 2090 it is forecast to hit 870 million people by that time, but I predict that the government would have either annexed land from other countries or bought land most likely from Benin and Niger.
I give it 700 million plus no more, assuming no annexation or fusion of ECOWAS.
samorobo: Mover by the end of this century assuming we would be hovering around 950m.....
But as the Economy gets better so those the standard of living of the populace which eventually leads to low birth rate....poverty, and lack of proper education breads population.more income, proper education changes the mindset of people..you will want to breed little so you can save up more income and provide a better life for you and your family...it's logic..
I highly doubt Nigeria will make it to 900 million plus people at least not this century. I predict Nigeria's population will reach only the 700 millions assuming it doesn't fuse with ECOWAS or something like that. Nigeria's economy is definitely going to take off though.
Dlonra: Kenya has bagged the last remaining spot on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) after flooring Djibouti in Thursday’s repeat vote.
The country bagged 129 votes out of an eligible 191 casted ballots in the poll staged in UN Headquarters in New York to cross the required threshold of 128 votes or two thirds of votes cast.
Danielnino00: You are confusing Lagos State with Lagos city...
Eko Atlantic will be part of Lagos State but not Lagos city.. Of course, people can confuse it with Lagos city, but realistically, it is a separate city of its own. Just like Ikeja and Lekki ..
Exactly this is a common mistake everyone makes when it comes to "Lagos". They confuse the STATE with the CITY. Lagos is a single city WITHIN Lagos STATE. The CAPITAL of Lagos state is Ikeja. Nobody considers Buffalo City as part of New York CITY just because it's in New York STATE.
Annael: We are not talking about how many speak such language. We are talking about language with standards and regulatory organs. Kiswahili is official Language in AU but Hausa not. Kiswahili is an official language in SADC but Hausa not. Kiswahili is an official language in EAC but Hausa not Kiswahili is an official language in UN media but Hausa not.
