Before that's how it used to be but because of the backwardness of the north educational wise the fraud called "federal character" was introduced. When appointment were based on merit that was when the Southerner's were more in number in the north, working with the Nigeria Railway Cooperation etc but now the reverse is the case. I am a northerner if you don't mind. Peace

Instead NLC execuTHIEVES should be ashamed of themselves for not feeling the plight of the worker's the ought to be representing. They amass wealth for themselves all in the name of "COMRADES". Adams Oshiomole comes to mind, a former labour leader turn Governo turn airport owner.

We saner Nigerian's have already decided that Atiku will by God's grace be sworn in as the president of Nigeria. No amount of media distraction will derail us from MAKING NIGERIA WORK AGAIN.

So, you are supporting someone to be president but want the presidency to go elsewhere? Well, I understand what you meant to say, but you ended up saying something else. Now, instead of working on this obvious lack of yours, you will begin to rant in defence of it but I won't reply.

Set aside hatred and bitterness, 2019 is around the corner, vote wisely, vote progress, vote to secure the nation's Treasury from getting into wrong hands again, Nigerians are not goats, we are wise, we let the mistakes of the past guide our path to a better future
Also, the most ridiculous propaganda (accusations of impostor) against the present administration shows how desperate and clueless some components of confusion are, these set of individuals are bent on taking gullible Nigerians for granted, taking advantage of them (gullible Nigerians) by feeding them pathetic and ridiculous lies.
This Nation is ours, we don't need them (confusionists) to tell us who is dead or alive, they tried this before but eventually abandoned their perilous course and went into exile, lols
Patriotism is the key to making the right choice in the coming election, we say NO to Treasury looters and agents of backwardness.
God Bless Nigeria.
Come out straight and tell us you are a BMC. You better stop this your copy and paste because this not 2014 that your type mislead people. This is 2018 and Nigerian's are better enlightened. This North West Buhari's so called strong hold....with Atiku Nigeria will work again

PoliticsRe: Pastor Andrew John Enenche: Buhari, Osinbajo Deserve Re-election by asobo: 6:51pm On Dec 02, 2018
Buterflyle0:
The United Young Christians Forum [UYCF] under the leadership of Pastor Andrew John Enenche has taken a position ahead of the 2019 general.

The group after a crucial meeting on Saturday endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo for second term.

The Christian group described the duo of Buhari and Osinbajo as friends of the church who deserved every support to push the nation forward.

A statement signed by Enenche at the end of the meeting hinted that the reason for adopting Buhari was further informed by the premise that many other candidates that are wooing Nigerians have not by their acts shown sufficient of God.

They, therefore, warned Nigerians against accepting those that would take them back to square one.

The statement below:

“Permit us to start with a disclaimer. President Muhammadu Buhari had categorically stated that clergymen should eschew politics or lose credibility and this is a reality that we are well aware of particularly as it relate to those that turned their pulpit into soap boxes to support candidates that are known to be corrupt. So irrespective of President Buhari’s assertion Proverbs 12:17 “When you tell the truth, justice is done, but lies lead to injustice” is our guide in this matter. We want justice to be done so we will say it as it is.

“We have watched development in our body polity for the past four years and we can categorically declare that the administration has favoured Christendom and advanced the propagation of the gospel, which, gentlemen, is our ultimate goal.

In the period preceding the inauguration of President Buhari, Christianity was being contaminated with the evil of corruption. Christians in Nigeria were beginning to evolve into what the Gospels did not intend.

“The truth is that we entered into competition with the world and even challenged those in the world to a context in material acquisition; it was not unusual in those days for the testimony of brethren to be measured by the volume of wealth or material things they were able to acquire in record time without giving thoughts to how much sin has been committed to attain such worldly goods.

“Corruption even influenced the faith to the point where sermons were tailored to suit the expediency of supporting corrupt people in clear violation of our mandates. We became unwilling witnesses to men delivering their own verdicts as prophecies.

“May we also point out that one thing that is becoming extinct under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari is laziness. We are instructed in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”

“/”People had become addicted to slush money, which perhaps explains the cry of hardship and anguish as the anti-corruption war takes hold. We are pleased that more Nigerians today have found the joy of working for their earnings, which enables them to sleep in peace.

“Beyond these, we have seen that the government of President Buhari did not neglect the needy. As opposed to the past when the poor were food for the rich, this government has through various social welfare intervention programmes comply with God’s injunction not to neglect the needy and less privileged. Children who would otherwise have gone hungry are fed under the school feeding programme. Women, some of them widows, have benefitted under the Trade Moni. The conditional cash transfer scheme is helping beneficiaries reduce the impact of poverty on their life.

“We have also seen the projects ongoing across the country, which gives hope that Nigeria will be built into a great nation, like the rebuilding of Jerusalem as recorded in the Book of Nehemiah. As stated in Nehemiah 2:17 we are inclined to tell Nigerians “You see the bad situation we are in, that Jerusalem (Nigeria) is desolate and its gates burned by fire (previous bad leaders). Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no longer be a reproach.”

“We have confidence that it is President Buhari that can carry out this rebuilding. We therefore endorse President Buhari/Vice President Yemi Osinbajo whose performance has confirmed as friends of the Church and Youths of Nigeria for a second term in office.”

GOMBE: YOUTHS ATTACK SENATOR LIDANI IN BALANGA
Hundreds of youth have on Monday attacked Senator Joshua Lidani in Talasse, headquarters of Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe state.
Our correspondent gathered that Senator Lidani who is representing Gombe South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, was in Talasse to felicitate with the Bala Waja, Alhaji Danjuma Mohammed, when hundreds of youth stormed the palace in attempt to held the senator hostage.
According to resident of Talasse who crave for anonymity, Senator Lidani visited the town to supervise a building project he awarded at the Community College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Talasse.
“The mammoth crowds of youth stormed the palace at about 8am when they learnt that Senator Lidani was in town. They want explanation on what he was doing for them for the past seven years he was at the senate.
“They pelted stones on his motorcade and later laid siege at the Bala Waja’s palace waiting for him to come out and explain to them” he said.
According to the witnesses, since his election in 2015, he never visited the town or brought any constituency project to them, with the exception of three blocks of classrooms that he built at the college.
Another resident of the town told our correspondent on phone that, it took a combined effort of soldiers and mobile policemen to be able to evacuate the senator from the palace to safety.
“A combine team of mobile policemen and soldiers who stormed the palace in seven trucks were able to escort him safely from the Bala Waja’s palace and he escaped unhurt,” he said.
In a phone interview with Daily Trust, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Tairu Shina Olukolu, confirmed the incident.
He said: “Senator Joshua Lidani was at the Bala Waja’s palace to felicitate with the royal father when some youth who alleged that they are unsatisfied with his representation, barricaded the palace and denied him exit demanding explanation from him on his representation at the senate.
“To avoid break down of law and order, security operatives were dispatch to the palace and they have successfully escort him out of the town unhurt,” he said.
CP Olukolu said after the incident normalcy have since return to the town with people going about their activities.
