Politics / Running Tests On Actual Devices by Asssured: 4:14pm On Jan 13, 2022
Today, people run tests on actual devices because it important in ensuring the app's success on the market. It is important to test your software to avoid dealing with unhappy user complaints. A well-designed and useful app can boost ROI and conversion rates.

App testing on a real device is an important element of the app development process. It enables the QA team to test and evaluate the app's features and functionality. Using just Emulators and stimulators in your tests is not accurate. You have to test in real-world circumstances wink.

Here are five reasons why you should do tests on real devices.

1. Reliability

Firstly, when opposed to an emulator or a stimulator, running tests in real-time with genuine equipment yields more reliable results. You have a better probability of succeeding.

Real-world testing is more trustworthy than testing on emulators or simulators. The possibility of inconsistent test findings is eliminated with accurate device testing. When compared to emulators and simulations, it provides better accuracy. Because the mobile OS is not executed on a real device, emulation testing has several setbacks.
Similarly, a simulator predicts the behaviour of the actual device but does not provide a true duplicate of the mobile operating system. As a result, real devices are frequently the most effective platform for app testing.

2. App's Usability
The QA team can use real device testing to test the app's usability concerns. The testers will be able to create the test documentation and run it on actual devices. Testers have to run their tests on a variety of instruments and browsers to give a satisfying user experience.

Accurate device testing confirms the app's look and feels, as well as if the picture is visible in both day and night conditions. As a result, real device testing aids in determining the app's usability and ensuring the end-users complete happiness.

3. You carry out the tests in real-world conditions.
The actual devices are controlled with fingertips, simulating real-world operation. As a result, it aids in the testing of apps in a natural setting, i.e., the app will be utilized in a variety of settings and environments. testing takes real word factors into account such as network outages, weather conditions, and device malfunctions.

4. Cross-Platform Evaluation

Running tests on actual devices on several platforms, operating systems, and OS versions aids in comparing and analyzing the app's performance in various situations. You won't have to worry about false positives or negatives since accurate device testing yields real results, revealing all of the device's or environment's performance flaws.

5. Variety of Features
You may test your app against a variety of features and sensors that your app relies heavily on to perform proper device testing. If your program includes functionalities that relay on specific sensor kinds, this is critical. Testing on a real device allows you to see how the app will react when it interacts with mobile technologies such as GPS, camera, Bluetooth, and fingerprint sensors.

In conclusion, the end-contentment user's is critical to the application's success. Real-world device testing ensures the app's performance in real-world scenarios. This is because it allows you to see if the software works properly on real devices.

Business / A Comprehensive Review Of Enaira App- Nigeria’s Digital Currency by Asssured: 11:33pm On Oct 29, 2021
In our first app review, Asssured takes a look at the e-Naira Speed Wallet App combined with reviews from the app store and social media.

What is eNaira?

The eNaira is a digital version of the paper currency issued by the Central Bank Of Nigeria. It is a digital currency based on blockchain technology but controlled by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The eNaira wallet comes in two versions: one for individuals (Speed Wallet) and one for merchants (Merchant Wallet).

How does it Work?

e-Naira like every other central bank digital currency (CBDC) is essentially a digital banknote.

Individuals could use it to pay businesses, shops, or each other (a “retail CBDC”), or financial institutions could use it to settle trades in financial markets (a “wholesale CBDC”).

It ensures that transactions are safer, faster, and more convenient.

Userbase Analysis

The CBN governor, Emefiele, revealed that over 2.5 million individuals access the website every day and that another N200 million has been distributed to financial institutions. Over 2,000 people have been added to the platform, and 120 merchants have successfully registered.

Our Exploratory Testing Approach

We had our internal team conduct a manual test on the eNaira, and here is what they have to say

Our Analysis

Point 1: Poor Customer Education

It is very evident that CBN has not done enough customer education on what the value proposition of eNaira is and how it is different from the current payment options that the Nigerians currently enjoy.

A number of users on social media have expressed their confusion on the difference between eNaira and existing payment options in the country. Other users are confused as to why there are two different apps with the same icons. Some users have downloaded the merchant wallet rather than the speed wallet.

A twitter user makes a reference to his confusion over which wallet to download.

Point 2. Frustrated Users and bad reviews

We found various reviews and feedback on the Playstore and App Store before testing eNaira. The review as at the time of this report on Google Playstore was 2 out of 5. Things got worse as the Speed Wallet App was briefy removed from the playstore.

According to Osita Nwanisobi, CBN spokesperson, in an interview with The Cable, the removal was done to assist the apex bank in upgrading the app’s functionalities.

“There’s an upgrade going on, and I guess it’s all right now,” he explained.
