Graham Potter Not a big name coach. But just like Harry Potter the magician, the guy has performed admirably well in all his appointments. From his time in Sweden to currently with Brighton, its clear why he is Chelsea current best option. Pott is Not a big name coach but tactical Genius, down to earth guy who knows how to relate to players and bring the best out of average players. He prefers 3-4-2-1 but is very versatile and non rigid oftenly playing 3-4-3, 3-5-2 l. At osternds he prefered 4_4_2 double 6. that is very expansive and exciting to watch. His teams play proactive and never shy away from attacking irregardless of the opponents they are facing. This has brought him both joy and pain including the demolition of manchester united, Arsenal and leicester. Brighton unlike chelsea choose zones and traps to press. He sometimes sets his team up with zonal markings which end up catastrophically opening defence in wide areas. His midfield is also fluid and encouraged to move with balls to create space. During attack, his defenders push into midfield allowing the upfront players create a wide 5 attack. In a game you'd see his wingbacks coming in sometimes to create midfield overloads and cucurela was largely known for his vertical passes from wing positions and played as midfield pivot from Left Centreback position. But what would certainly make him a match for the new regime is his ability to develop young and average potential players. Tariq Lamptey has certainly flourished under him amongst others. Its worth pointing out also that most of the goals brighton have scored have mostly been moments of individual inspirations. Most long range efforts. Of the current crop of chelsea players only mount is known for this. It will be interesting to see how chelsea will find their way with this. It will be the period between 15/02/2022 - 16th March 2022 when he lost six consective epl games that should however cast confidence in his knowledge to ride predicaments. Thomas Tuchel did not expect to get sacked by Chelsea, he was ready for training this morning and think about the match against Fulham. Todd Boehly feels he spent a lot of money to rebuild the Chelsea squad this summer and the results were not as expected Tuchel and Boehly tried to make it work in the summer, Tuchel was not so happy with some situations like not landing De Ligt who he wanted as top priority, Boehly wanted Ronaldo at Chelsea but Tuchel said no, many things were not perfect between Tuchel & Boehly. Boehly was looking at Erling Haaland at Man City and what Liverpool have been doing and felt Chelsea were slipping further behind, Potter will be given money in the January window and a long contract. Chelsea’s new owners didn’t feel Tuchel was developing senior or younger players and players on the fringe felt disconnected, take Pulisic, Werner and Lukaku as examples. Kantebets:Majority of our attackers are not average; Tucheliban's style made them look average, ziyech,harvetz,pulisic even Werner to some extent were ballin for lampard we were creating chances, the only issues we had as a team then was our defense and he caused that, he had issues with most defenders then( the likes of rudiger, Christensen, alonso were all furious for being axed from the team) but yet were playing good attacking football but this issues was just our defense we are not able to keep leads most of matches ended with us scoring but opponent outscoring us due to our bad defense, but we're completely clueless under tuchel how are we to score with this stupid tactics, we will keep getting to attack third with nothing to show for it and keep on recycling balls

To put Aubameyang in the line-up from the get-go after the events of last week, to not even phase him in more gently as a substitute, comes across as a move from someone urgently turning to a former work colleague to get him out of a bit of trouble. What was more alarming was the chopping and changing of formations and positions during 90 minutes. After starting out in a 3-4-3, Tuchel changed to a 4-4-2 in the 2nd half. That included the rather bizarre sight of Sterling dropping deeper to play in central midfield. All 5 subs were made and Chelsea ended the match in a 3-1-4-2, with Mount moving back inside again. When that call was made on the hour mark, half-time sub Ziyech switched from right-wing to left wing-back. The look on his face as the message was relayed spoke volumes. At the moment, Tuchel is struggling to get a response from his players, either by what he’s doing on the training ground or by the critical appraisals he’s been issuing through the media post match. Chelsea's owners are reluctant to sanction Billy Gilmour's proposed permanent move to Brighton due to the club's midfield injury problems. Thomas Tuchel is open to letting Billy Gilmour leave Chelsea on Deadline Day.
