President Buhari has appealed to Nigerians to exercise more patience in his administration’s fight against insecurity.
In a statement released on Monday August 10, Buhari disclosed that they are investing heavily in acquiring modern equipment.
He added that when the equipment arrive, security operatives will undergo training ahead of deployment to the field.

Former Senate President, David Mark has expressed his desire to have all the states in the Middle Belt zone in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and urged Governor Samuel Ortom to lead the vanguard to capture the zone for the party.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo has called on the former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to leave Gov Godwin Obaseki and Edo Politics alone.
Chairman of the PDP state campaign council, Chief Dan Orbih made the call in Benin on Saturday, at a media briefing.
Orbih who said he was reacting to a statement by Tinubu allegedly calling the Edo Governor a dictator, said that the APC leader was obviously not abreast of the political situation as well as the issue surrounding the Edo Assembly crisis.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Campaign Council for Edo state governorship election has said Bola Tinubu’s bitterness with Governor Godwin Obaseki was as a result of what it called the recent failed “coup” at the Edo State House of Assembly.
The PDP campaign council said the whining by the All Progressives Congress, APC national leader “has further validated allegations that the horrendous attempt to seize the Edo legislature has the fingers of the APC leadership for their personal reasons”.
