Yoruba Community in Owerri Celebrates Amala Day Festival

The Yoruba community in Owerri, Imo State, came together today, Sunday, July 27, 2025, to celebrate the Amala Day Festival.

The event featured traditional music, dance, and a variety of Yoruba dishes, especially the popular Amala served with ewedu and gbegiri soup. It was a joyful gathering that brought together both Yorubas and non-Yorubas living in Imo State, promoting unity and cultural appreciation.

Culture is truly a bridge that connects us all.
