There is one advantage and one disadvantage in casting kim yoo jung as the lead.

Advantage: she is perfect for the saeguk role even tho its impossible to make her look anything like a boy.

Disadvantage: This romantic saeguk will lack romance coz siqus HQ doesn't allow their under aged teen actresses to kiss grow up men unlike fantiago so its gonna be a well acted but boring and not romantic saeguk.

But I'm glad they casted this 16 years old actress and not legal seolhyun.

I like the pairing. Kim Yoo Jung is brilliant in Sageuk, and I'm sure it'll turn out well. The drama is a youth drama, so just like their high school dramas there won't be too much kissing and skinship so I'm not expecting much on that front. If I need skinship, I'll just watch Oh My Venus instead.


Oh, and that's her brother below. They look identical, so I guess it bodes well for her cross dressing. -even though I don't think I can take her seriously as a guy.

Who else loved the scene the doctors thought SJ was a ghost eating his memorial food.



And seriously, GooWon should never kiss again. how come they are just so bad at it? Their only acceptable kiss was the cafeteria own. They tried small there. SongSong on the other hand...

Awwwwww!!!!!! I can't believe it's over!!!!!!!! The end was perfect! I couldn't ask for anything more -Maybe MY meeting with his dad since he met her mum once- but it was a beautiful end.
I never thought I'd see Daniel again -he's so cute, and his english is plus the North Korean guy. Glad he was safe.

From start to finish, Descendants of the Sun rocked! I will miss Alpha Team- Big Boss, Wolf, Snoopy, Harry Potter and Piccolo and Hospital Team- Dr Song, the nurses, baby doctor, and Dr Pyo.

Fellow Goodbye Mr Black viewers, I have a question. In the earlier eps after Sungjae and Mari got married they went for an ultrasound, meaning Mari was pregnant, right?
Then in eps 7 when Sungaje was apologising to Swan for the awkward dinner, his excuse was that his wife is sensitive because she's trying to get pregnant. I thought maybe it was wrong subtitling, maybe he meant she's sensitive because she's pregnant -because she can't be un-pregnant.
When Mari apologised to Swan herself in eps 8, she received a call from her Doctor congratulating her that she's pregnant. So I'm totally confused. How can she be re-pregnant? Did she have a miscarriage earlier or is there something I missed along the way?

same with me...I'm really tired of DY and MJ.Did you see what they were doing in front of SJ in the hospital? They were like..go first...no you go first. if I were SJ,I would just give each of them a dirty slap and push them out of the door...always arguing like kindergarten kids.
As for the kiss,let's pretend it never happened...let's wait patiently for the real kiss.

I'm sure SJ is used to it by now, because DY and MJ have spent more time arguing than agreeing with each other. They've been demoted to 3rd couple in my mind, Dr Song and the nurse are now 2nd couple.

I'm getting a bit tired of DY and MJ's back and forth story. They should take example from SJ and MY and TALK! A decent conversation stating their position to each other, instead of the noble idiocy behind each other's backs.
And we should really get another kiss scene, cos that car kiss setup was just weird.

@hilda90, I totally understand your point. Sure, some scenes are not realistic but which drama is 100% real?
I watch dramas for entertainment and not because I want to write a 50 paged essay on the flaws of the drama.
I used to like db a lot, but these days I dunno. Instead of just enjoying a drama -that they chose to watch, 'cos nobody put a gun to their head and forced them to watch- they're busy analysing it like final year project.





That being said, when I finally watched this weeks eps, I was like @ DY and MJ car kiss in eps13. Isn't that like really dangerous?

Why do they need to remake it? Isn't the current version airing simultaneously in their country?
Even this dots version is slightly different in China, because they either edit out the North Korean scenes(eps1) or replace NK with a fictional country and dub the voices in English (eps 13 and 14). Because of their political ties with NK.

It's safe to assume KBS is tired of their flop season, and they're going all out to bring the ratings home this year.

First DoTS, then they have Arbitrarily Fond, Hwarang, and Park Bo Gum's sageuk coming up. I dunno about the Sageuk, but the other two are pre-produced. Looks like this is going to become a trend, and it's good.





I know it's still far, but I can't wait for Dec 31st. All the pretty gathered in one place!

I'm watching jackpot, lol, why wouldn't i? It's a joseon drama anyway, the first 2 episodes looks promising so far, i'm Afraid we might loose choi min soo in this drama again, he died heroic death in both warrior baek dong soo and faith..

I downloaded the first two episodes last night. I heard that jang geun suk ,yeo jin goo and others didn't appear much in those episodes. i'll watch it today.DOTS will end soon. withdrawal syndrome alert!

Nah, they didn't appear much. But starting from next week, we'll get to see them.

I have a clip of both of them in a drama though they were younger and they've not blow that time, and I've watched the life out of it. Chairman and Vice together on my screen = thousands of sparkly butterfly feels. lol
